0004 Kû Realm

However the next minute, Seven men clouded in this same dark aura as the Ortuser appeared— sent by the Immortal Lord.

"Senior Seishan, Master had sent us to kill Zishan Hui and Zishan Meng."

Zishan Hui's expression changed drastically. Mengmeng is his wife so he cannot allow them to kill her. Unfortunately, he is just in the Primordial realm while eight of them were Ortusers. That cultivation realm is a universal law repelling realm where the laws, also known as Tîàñ particles avoid those who ascended to become Ortusers. Tîàñ particles hold one unique concept and each concept varies in lethality.

Primordial realms were said to tactically wield Tîàñ particles as a weapon however an Ortuser repels these laws. With eight Ortusers and a single Primordial, the situation isn't at all looking ok.

Seishan, the one that had been his original enemy since he had attacked the Ninth-fortress sect, turned towards the other seven.

He said.

"I cultivated emotions and feelings and when I shattered countless stars in my attack, I sensed Zishan Hui's emotions that read— fear."

Zishan Hui's face turned pale.

'Crap. I didn't know that he cultivated feelings as a weapon.'

Seishan laughed and said,

"Maybe… I should overturn the stars. Maybe, I should destroy them."

Zishan Hui immediately erupted as Tîàñ particles flashed out, but the eight of them remained unharmed, just because of a singular law governing their existence.

Repulsion.

'Fine, since Tîàñ particles cannot harm them, I'd use brute force.'

His body flickered, a terrifying power blasting out of him, shaking the heavens but then, Seishan sneered.

Accompanied by seven Ortusers, they appeared before Zishan Hui in an instant and slapped down. Eight phantoms of brute strength shattered the sky.

When Zishan Hui tried to counter, he was stoned into the ground like a meteor, his spine cracking in the process.

"You're complete trash!"

Seishan laughed.

"As a Primordial, be glad that I'm willing to give you a painless death. But what would be more painful is destroying the entire Zishan clan."

He smiled brightly.

"You won't be there, and Mengmeng won't be there. Your ancestors would be put on trial by the Immortal Lord and of course, the Zishan clan would be exiled. How do you like that?"

Zishan Hui's face became deadpan.

"You're trying to sow discord when the world seems to be at peace. You're courting death!"

Seishan laughed yet again. "Discord? I haven't even started. The moment I pull the strings, then other sects and clans would support your clan's exile."

Zishan Hui was bleeding severely, unable to handle attacks from eight Ortusers, he could likely die if another attack lands which leaves him at the mercy of the enemy.

"Where is Little Yao? Is he hidden— in the stars?"

Zishan Hui's heart trembled and Seishan sensed the emotional flow which meant that he was correct in that fact. However Zishan Hui tried to deny it.

"Ancestor Sheng had been the one to seal him so I do not know where exactly."

Seishan's eyes flared in fury and his deadly pressure dropped down, pulverizing the earth, slamming Zishan Hui into the earth in a splatter of blood.

"Do you dare lie? Tell me the truth, I might spare your life and even that of your clan."

Zishan Hui cleaned the blood running down his nostril and lips then, he hissed.

"Isn't this what you promised the disciples of the Ninth-fortress sect?"

Seishan's hands moved swiftly and landed smack on his cheek, the terrifying power sending him flying.

He spat out a mouthful of blood.

"You'd only lash at me but it would be fruitless. I discovered something exciting from your cultivation! Cultivating human emotions actually requires the human to personally accept the truth of what you feel about them just for confirmation. However if that doesn't happen—" Zishan Hui smiled, revealing a set of bloodied teeth.

"You would never believe it. Cultivating human emotions come with a flaw and can actually be deceptive. Are you sure you've mastered and completed the prerequisite?"

Seishan's face darkened and his legs snapped out in a kick. Zishan Hui's bones were instantly grinded to dust, leaving him incapacitated.

Seishan chuckled.

"How dare you figure me out? It's quite brazen to realize that flaw of mine which means that you are not allowed to live. You can just die."

Figures stretched itself from the void, forming a blanket that pressed down but before the blanket of darkness could cømpletely snuff out Zishan Hui's life, another frightening existence appeared, sending all eight Ortusers flying and coughing blood.

Zishan Hui's eyes widened.

"Mengmeng?"

Excitement entered his eyes.

"You actually did it. You stepped into the Kû realm."

She offered a warm smile and then said. "I'd recently just stepped in. As a Dù kè hàn, I'm supposed to find my calamity and overcome it."

Seishan stood up from where he had been blasted along with his cohorts, he stretched his waist and said.

"I can't believe you did what I've been vying to achieve in the 1000 years of my life. You stepped into the Kû realm, Zishan Meng."

Mengmeng stood up and said with icy authority.

"You've crippled my husband. You had almost shattered his cultivation, now I'd repay the debt."

Her body drifted into the air, a powerful array manifesting in soft but harrowing plumes.

She immediately shifted her hands causing these plumes to move.

A single plum shattered the sky and countless plumes pierced through existence like a piece of paper.

Seishan's face turned pale and eight Ortusers were blasted into the earth, their bones fracturing in the process.

'I can't survive an attack from a Dù kè hàn. I would die. I can only implement the plan and escape from here. It doesn't matter if these minions of mine die.'

He turned towards the seven Ortusers and shouted.

"Protect me."

They did.

Mengmeng did not fall for the ploy and she sent one crystal plum hurtling towards Seishan, slamming him right in the chest that he was seen launched into the sky and allowed to freefall.

"Urgh, why does she have to be so powerful?"

He drew onto the void and simply vanished.

However before Mengmeng could do something about it, seven Ortusers lunged at her with pure malice and bloodlust.

She spat.

"Bunch of trash."

A wave of her hand and they were reduced into bloody paste.

Zishan Meng turned towards Hui and grabbed him. But he shook his head and said.

"The Immortal Lord is planning something for the entire Zishan clan if we do not reveal Yao's hidden place. I'm afraid, the plan is big and it isn't something a Dù kè hàn can handle. We might even be exiled and hated by the entire world. The future isn't so promising."

Mengmeng's eyes flashed.

"Then let's do nothing!" She muttered softly, her hands glowing up with a healing technique.

The current from the river of time was like a majestic sweeping force and one wrong move, Yao would be done for. He grabbed his makeshift boat tight, his third eye, spinning like his life depended on it. And finally, the current of the river stopped, giving Yao a breathing space– bringing peace to the surface of the river.Yao did not even know for how long he had been holding his breath, but it had to have been very long because his lungs were burning now. He had yet to transmute his true qi to spirit qi, so he had not entered the dao of spirit. So for now, he can be considered as a mortal cultivator unless he's stepped into the dao of spirit. He breathed in rapidly. He did not know whether something would attack him or not– he did not care whether he would be attacked. Right now, his main problem is surviving the river of time. The thing is, any other attack coming from the peak of the slope will only end up being swallowed by the river. So no matter how many times Yao exhales, it

The floor cracked. Marble stones peeled off the cracked ground then Yao swallowed. A breath. Two breaths. And Yao felt a chill. From the point where he slid down, the sharpness in his eyes took a drastic change and his spirit energy drifted from him and simply painted the sky a transparent hue. For a moment the world stood completely still. Not influenced by the river of time, but rather— something that actually ignores the river. Yao saw the flash arrival of a spear, its tip glistening with an unholy sharpness, the kind capable of splitting the heavens. All of a sudden, the surrounding rivers started to boil. Heaven and earth instantly changed colour. Yao's face turned pale.Although this spear surpassed the limit of what he could handle, he needed it so that he could stop his dreadful fall. He just had to ignore the pressure and avoid contact. Now the spear is only inches away from cutting him open. Yao took a deep breath, triggering the chills. There was a blinding flash as

The path was sloped downwards and the marble floor had droplets of time mist which made the floor wet and slippery. Time is a river so it replicates water which means that if care is not taken, he could slip and slide down the mountain, probably sustaining an injury in the process. This is the path he sought for, but this path was dangerous. One wrong move and he is done for. He swallowed– hard. Yao took a deep breath, and a few seconds later, he crossed the boundary. The moment he separated himself from the enclosure that hid the mountain top, Yao knew that he could not afford to go back again. Not because he did not want to go back, but because it was now impossible. Another defensive mechanism. He took his first step and then the second. From there, he carefully descended from the sloped mountain range. And on each side, Yao could clearly see beneath the mountain. He also saw a massive river that pooled beneath this range. He breathed in and out. White mist followed his exhal

200 years…400 years…800 years…Yao lost count of how many years he's spent inside Zicuen Mountain. He stopped counting, just hoping…probably, he'd break the time suppression around him.The world around him distorted and changed. And suddenly, his vision tilted creating a mesmerising view.Yao stood frozen for a moment, trying to wonder what he was seeing. He saw the void change along with time, then it compressed into a ball that became the memories of time. And these memories carried by time either had to be absorbed or destroyed and somehow, Yao had observed a memory that sent his brain nerves into a complete shock. At first, he saw a universe which was overlooked by the starry sky. Everything had been normal for a long three seconds until the stars trembled. And then merged together, forming what is known as the Starry Fist. Yao did not know why but just observing the memory caused him to spit out blood and he was yet to break the time suppression around him. He had even expe

A century later, Yao's ancient eyes flickered. Fear. Ever since he had awakened from what sealed him, the concept of fear had been foreign to him. It is only now did he know that such a thing existed. The river of time flowed beneath the Zicuen mountain and it influenced time greatly on both outside and inside therefore, stopping time outside, and creating a suppression inside. A defensive mechanism actually. This is to defend against unwanted Intruders who's only intention is to invade and snatch the ancient techniques hidden below the mountain. Yao knew too well that he held no evil intention, instead he only came here for humanity's sake. Not that he even knew how exactly it would help humanity. Despite the selfishness, the mountain did not reject him, rather it bombarded him with its time suppression, probably wanting Yao to break it.Time continued to pass and Yao did not know how long, but if time isn't keeping him exactly as he had entered the mountain, he should have grown

Yao could feel the distorted nature of time. Sometimes, he felt as if the distance was longer or shorter. He had entered from the top of Zicuen mountain so the only way to those ancient techniques is to find a path that leads beneath the mountain. He found a path. He started to make his way down… trusting Shang Fa that time was frozen on the outside world. The duel that is to happen in three days is not something that Yao had expected and if anything, Mo Shen had only sought him out just to make trouble from it.Yao massaged his temples. He could feel insensitive headaches growing. 'Maybe, I can use this period to enter the clarity realm.’ Yao's third eye suddenly manifested and spirit energy spilled out of his palm, hovering into the inky black crevices of the mountain. Spirit energy chased the darkness only gathering a bit of shadows since it wasn't a true source of light. Then his spirit energy surged, each spirit grains lapping upon each other in a refined manner. No one woul
