THE CLUB

9:00 PM

Putting on a pair of pants, with the hood draped over his head, he left his room and proceeded to the nearest nightclub in the vicinity, Luna Lux.

Then he proceeded through the dark, ensuring he left no traces behind.

When he got to the nightclub, everything was already in full swing and he moved silently to a corner where he wouldn’t be noticed.

Looking around, he found a girl walking towards him. Since he was wearing a hood with a nose mask over his mouth, they couldn’t see the scar on his face, and with his build they probably thought of him as a tall and handsome guy.

‘I bet they’ll run in fear when they see my scar.’

But things aside, he was not interested in interacting with girls so he decided to just chat with her a bit and then leave the vicinity to look for a suitable target.

“Hey there handsome, how you doing?”

“Fine.”

He said, trying to keep his words as short and bland as possible but it seemed the girl wasn’t really interested in leaving anytime soon.

“Want a dance partner?”

“No.”

‘Won’t this girl catch the gist and leave already? It would be nice to test with her but I can’t explain if it actually works and my clothes can’t fit anymore, right?’

“Well I seem to be alone right now and need a dance partner. Are you willing to join me?”

Orion lifted his head and looked at the girl. She seemed no more than 19 years old, about 1.6 meters tall with blonde hair that reached her shoulders and cascaded down her arms and a hint of baby fat, but it only made her cute.

In a way, this girl was definitely a beauty of her own so why would she be willing to go with just anyone she set her eyes on?

Especially a suspicious guy wearing a hood in a club where everyone was meant to dress flashy. A random guy covering his face in a club was even more suspicious than ever.

‘Well that’s none of my business though.’

“Not interested, and I’m not interested in you following me either.”

He said with an uninterested tone and left immediately after.

Seeing the hooded creep shun her and leave, the girl was stunned for a moment and then stared at him with fury evident in her eyes.

“Hmm, how dare a random nobody shun me when I was just thinking of using him as a shield from this big buffoon.”

Looking back, she could see a tall and muscular guy wearing a black T-shirt that seemed to highlight his muscles with a gold wristwatch and matching trousers.

“Looks like I’m stuck with him again, damn that creep,” she muttered in a low voice before returning to her normal personality, flashing a smile at the guy like nothing happened.

Leaving the girl behind, Orion tried even more to make his presence as unnoticeable as possible before trying to find a way to achieve his goal with the least attention.

Moving into another section of the club, a wide grin surfaced on his face when he witnessed a hand wrestling contest currently going on between two muscular men with a small crowd around them, and some were even betting on who would be the winner.

‘This is the best way to go about this since no one will be able to see my face and I won’t need to speak much, just a little hand wrestling, that’s all.’

Joining the small crowd cheering for the two men, he could see that although the two of them were at a stalemate and the situation didn’t seem to be changing, one of them was handling it with ease while the other one was sweating buckets like there was no tomorrow.

At this point even a dumb person would figure out who the winner was as the crowd chanted

“Rocky!”

“Rocky!!”

“Rocky!!!”

‘So his name is Rocky huh, or at least his nickname is Rocky.’

Watching the match currently ongoing, he figured out a problem.

How was he going to wrestle with them? It’s not like he could just suddenly jump in and challenge them, right?

If he did that and he lost, that would be losing too much face.

At that moment a change occurred in the match as the guy who was sweating suddenly started losing his standing and strength after withstanding Rocky’s assault for so long. Then Rocky suddenly changed his momentum and pushed down hard on his hand, leaving him no chance for a respite or any form of comeback before slamming his hand down on the table.

The crowd burst into cheers and those who won their bets withdrew their money with glad faces, cheering on Rocky while those who lost could only grumble silently.

After winning the short match Rocky looked around and said,

“Looks like that’s my last match for the day, any more challenges?”

The crowd descended into silence as nobody was willing to go forward anymore since his nickname ‘Rocky’ wasn’t just given randomly but because he had never shifted his hand from its position when hand wrestling before.

Just as Rocky was about to leave with a relaxed smile on his face, the entire crowd was shocked when someone shouted,

“I!!”

He looked back and saw a boy, or maybe a man with short stature, but he was definitely lean without muscles and it seemed like he could flip him around a couple of times without much effort, yet he still stood there challenging him.

An intrigued smile surfaced on Rocky’s face as he found the challenge very interesting.

“Are you really sure you want to challenge me?”

“Sure, definitely.”

Hearing this, the smile on his face vanished and he promised in his heart to slam his hand so hard he’d feel it all over his body.

On normal moments, Orion would be panicking at the view of the goliath towering over him, but he couldn’t care anymore because the moment he came closer to Rocky he could see that the light orbs in his body weren’t the characteristic blue but had additional shades of green.
