The five of them returned to the city hall and Alex entered the governor's office, Robert who was scribbling away at a few sheets on the table looked up to see Alex walking in with a frown on his face.

"How was it?" Robert asked then dropped the papers in his hand on the table and gestured to the chair in front of him.

"What did he come here for?" Alex asked with a worried look on his face.

"He asked for the cause behind the plague and I only told him the basics."

"That's all?" Alex asked looking a bit relieved.

"That's all, is it Lucien or not?" Robert asked while looking at Alex in the eye.

"It's not Lucien, it's a mutant shapeshifter, probably a rogue newbie who was just a bit curious." He said with a hand on his forehead.

"A shapeshifter? That's new, did he get away?" Robert asked with a curious expression on his face.

"We couldn't catch him and he would probably slip away the moment we lost sight of him, it's pointless chasing if we can't catch him." Alex replied. "And if he only came for a few questions then I don't think he's harmful.

"Even shapeshifters exist now what is the world turning to?" Robert said while leaning back on his swivel chair.

"What are you guys going to do? Let him go? I think taking him in would be of help."

"I've contacted a team to keep watch for any traces of him, I don't think he's dangerous so we'll try to recruit him for now." Alex was about to leave when one of the four standing outside came in.

"I just checked for traces of the shapeshifter, the restaurant run by the governor's son was apparently raided by him recently."

"A raid?" Robert asked.

"Not really a raid, but according to the manager Lucien suddenly came to the restaurant and told him to transfer all the profits to an account he gave him, after they checked for the account it was already terminated." He explained.

"Looks like we have a problem on our hands." Alex said.

"But we have no trails on him for now. He could have gone to God knows where." Robert said.

"Get the account he gave the manager, we'll work with that for now I'll contact you later" he said to Robert then left the office.

After Alex left the office, Roberts expression changed into one of annoyance "these low lives who were nothing before suddenly think they rule the world after gaining some small ability." He snorted.

Orion was walking home now back in his normal body with a hood over his face and a small mask over his face, thinking of what Robert told him.

'So things should be back to normal soon and the deaths will stop. I'll just lay low till my exams are done then I'll think of what to do after that.' He muttered then returned to his lodge and called his mother.

After the call, he cooked up a feast and decided to check the different cells he had stored already and their abilities, he had a total of seven stored colored cells already, he could recognize the green one he got from Dave (Rocky), the plain one he got from Lucien and the others with different colors.

'I didn't realize Dave was that strong maybe because I was using a partial transformation then or I did something wrong but it felt way stronger when I used it earlier.' Orion thought while transforming back into Dave's form then clenched his fists, he could feel his whole body screaming at him to throw out a fist but he resisted the urge and reverted back to his form.

"This won't do, I'll go somewhere else" he said then put on his hood and left the lodge then hailed a cab headed for the outskirts of the city.

"I should go rent a new house, staying in this lodge for so long is enough already."

After a while, Orion stepped down the cab and paid him then walked towards the direction of the Silvermist mountains but didn't intend to go there, just deep enough to avoid attention.

"I just need to check a few things then I'll leave real quick." Orion muttered.

Looking at his right arm he transformed back in Dave's full form then clenched his fists and threw it towards a nearby tree.

KRAAAACK!!—THOOOOM!!

Orion watched in shock as the tree suddenly burst apart and fell to the ground.

"How, no I'm not mistaken, it definitely wasn't this strong when I got it from Dave, what happened to it??"
