Lucifer and Kale

Back in the training hall Kale and Lucifer stood roughly 100 metres apart from each other on a plain terrain, the brown floor seemed to be made of a strong metal capable of withstanding the outcome of the battle that was about to take place, a bluish-purple coloured dome descended encircling the area where the battle would take place to prevent stray attacks from damaging anything and also hitting Sofia who stood outside the dome watching every moment almost refusing to blink.

Before now, back in the dining after Lucifer took control, Lucifer was speaking with Kale about giving him a good spar and how it was meant to be, they finally decided on slowly rising in power as they fought as they didn’t wish to go all out, for Kale he simply wanted to know the extent of Lucifer’s strength.

“Are you ready?” Kale asked, and Lucifer smirked in reply.

“Are you sure about this, oh great demon king” Damian asked, mixing sarcasm in his words.

“Oh please” Lucifer said sounding bored “I could take this guy in…” Lucifer was saying until he sensed an incoming attack diverting his attention from Damian, he looked up only to see small floating black balls coming towards him, their multiple numbers making it impossible for him to dodge, not taking any chances he simply stretched out a single hand and flames covered his half of the dome where the black balls were invading, a moment later the flames died down and none of the black balls remained.

“I’m not your trainee… you can do better” Lucifer spoke urging Kale to use more strength indirectly telling him he could handle it, he asked for a spar not a circus show.

Kale kept doubting how much of his strength this new persona could take but then hearing his words and his tone he thought to himself, he really had to teach this cocky persona-Luci a lesson, one to teach him to learn who was the real boss around, he decided to be really serious but not to go completely out who knew when Luci would reach his limits, he would increase his power steadily until it was just enough to beat Luci, with this in mind Kale smirked.

“How strong is Lucifer?” Damian thought to himself as he himself had no idea of Lucifer's true strength.

Damian called out in his mind hoping to see information on Lucifer’s stats.

“Oh! I can’t see the rest, great” Damian thought a bit frustrated, he wondered what the (fallen) symbol behind the Demon king title meant but he had his guesses, he decided to take his mind off the status and focus on the showdown.

“Please be safe” Sofia couldn’t help but mutter, she didn’t know why but she doubted her father’s strength, maybe it was because she was already overly fond of him and had never seen him fight seriously.

Lucifer watched Kale as he breathed in and out slowly after Kale’s smirk Lucifer could feel the air getting thicker attempting to restrict his movement afterwards palm sized black balls began to appear in hundreds surrounding him and he could tell these were different from the last.

“Flame control…” Lucifer said as an explosion of flames burning brightly immediately surrounded him “devour” Lucifer muttered commanded and immediately the flames took shape of a tornado spinning furiously with great intensity, it slowly grew bigger, towering almost to the point of reaching the top of the dome, even with the dome preventing a lot of their powers from getting out the intensity of the flames caused Sofia’s body to get drenched almost forcing her to take a step back but she resisted.

Slowly the tornado began to die down before it suddenly collapsed. When it collapsed even Kale appeared shocked by the sight, a sinister looking throne appeared made of bones, it was built majestically as if carefully sculpted for a king, sitting on it was Lucifer.

“I’ve been through wars even before you were born, if this is how to plan to battle, I don’t see any need to act out myself” Lucifer muttered lowly only Damian heard his words. Sitting on the throne of bones Lucifer waved his hands lazily as he muttered “Blazing sword”, flames rose us around him forming a huge sword, the blazing sword remained suspended in the air rose continuously rose from the area around Lucifer, the throne and even his very being contributing to the blazing sword in suspended in the air, as the flames added to the blazing sword it continuously condensed increasing the density of the blazing sword almost making it appear solid.

“Lucifer, I thought flame control only allows you to control it” Damian asked confused, Lucifer seemed to be crafting out of flames.

“This is still under control, you just haven’t even gained basic understanding of your flame not to talk of basic mastery of flame control” Lucifer said, immediately Damian had a vision projected in his mind of a huge serpent the size of a story building made of flames “Crafted from boredom during my prime, best project yet” Lucifer said.

“Rate your current capabilities now compared to your prime?” Damian questioned curiously.

“…” After a short silence Lucifer replied “10%”.

Now Damian was genuinely surprised, he then began to think back of strong warriors he knew as at the stage lucifer was he was sure a lot of them could beat him maybe some hardly but they were still going to win but he couldn’t imagine multiplying Lucifer by five and any of them would stand a chance not to talk about multiplying by ten. Now he could feel his head aching from all the thinking ‘What was I expecting from a being that could cause a world disaster’ he sighed internally.

“How did you become that strong?” Damian blurted out unknowingly.

“Challenges,” Lucifer replied.

“Huh?” Damian exclaimed, he was absent minded when he spoke that he didn’t even realize Lucifer was answering.

Lucifer ignored Damian’s exclamation as he stretched forth his hand commanding the single blazing sword that seemed to carry an unstable might to blast forward, intense heat coupled with immense destructive force split the metal floor of the hall as the blazing sword travelled forward towards Kale.

Kale’s expression turned serious, he could tell this was something he couldn’t take lightly, he immediately took a stance, giving some distance between his legs for balance and arching his right arm back he gathered strength waiting for the right moment to strike. Through the dome Sofia could feel the suffocating power of Lucifer even though she hadn’t learnt to completely sense energies, this was something that didn’t need sensing it was so suffocating that she found it hard to breath a bit, her body kept alarming her that there was danger but she couldn’t seem to move as cold sweat developed on her face.

About less than a metre from contact Kale put his punch with the energy gathered in his right hand to motion, he moved at a speed Sofia couldn’t follow all that she saw happen next was a bright explosion of crimson light and then a clash between an ashy fog mist and crimson red flames but Lucifer saw it all happen he saw that as Kale moved to strike back a small orb formed in front of his right hand, the orb was filled with ash fog and then the collision.

At first his flames covered the entire dome but then thick ash fog rose colliding with his flames, from the outside it looked like the dome was divided in half, one half possessed thick fog and bright crimson flames in the other half both powers collided with each other in the centre but none overpowering the other, they seemed to be evenly matched.

In the fog nothing could be seen as it was too thick to be seen through, but in the flames, one could make out the outline of a figure standing seemingly enjoying the burning flames but surprisingly what seemed most noticeable was the large smirk plastered across the figure’s face.

“I’ve grown weak”
