Lucifer's entrance

“Did I use too much power” Kale asked himself as he dissipated the fog, after all it was a part of his abilities, while training Sofia he had sensed Damian’s presence since his arrival in the hall but he decided to just keep an eye on him dashing around the fog and throwing the black balls at Sofia, Damian got closer to the middle of the hall which surprised Kale a bit, he knew how well the restriction of one’s movement became in the fog. It was at that moment a thought crawled into his mind ‘Why don’t they work together in training’ and with that he immediately dashed behind Damian and with a little bit of added strength he sent a ball towards Damian, his intention to get Damian into Sofia’s cube.

With both of them together he believed they could handle him using a little bit of added strength to defend against the black balls, increasing his speed a bit he dashed around and threw two balls towards the duo with just enough time for them to be prepared but unexpectedly he added a bit too much knocking them out by the second round.

He then dissipated the fog and proceeded to carry them both to their rooms.

“Ohkay,” Damian said in understanding after Kale’s explanation.

Sofia continued staring at Kale in disbelief looking into his eyes he seemed to avoid her gaze, it was then her gaze sharpened “Spill it” she voiced out demandingly her brows furrowed.

Kale let out a sigh seeing Sofia had seemed through “I added another one of my Genesis abilities” he added.

“I knew it, I couldn’t have gotten knocked out so easily” Sofia said her tone sounding elated, she could vaguely remember the weak feeling after the first ball, Kale chuckled seeing her expression.

“Doesn’t change the fact that I’m using less than a quarter of my power and you were knocked out, you’re still too weak” Kale said with a smug look appearing on his face, he was doing so to get on Sofia’s nerve.

“Tch, your only good at bullying your daughter” Sofia interjected before saying with a cheeky smile.

Kale laughed at her words a bit before saying “What can I do, it’s been long I had someone my level to spar” he said as a matter of fact.

“How about you spar with me” Lucifer said, completely overpowering Damian over control as his guard had been let down.

Kale immediately stood up from his seat, his expression solemn as his figure flashed immediately appearing beside Sofia, his guard up ready for anything.

“Chill, it’s just a spar not a war” Lucifer spoke, his voice sounding calm and friendly but the sinister smile on his face seemed to contradict it all. He stood up causing Sofia who was sitting opposite him to flinch, they could all tell one thing-this definitely wasn’t Damian.

The voice, the amount of confidence oozing out of his words, his aura and even the calmness on his seemed to hide malicious intent almost like a venomous snake staring at his prey.

Lucifer walked over to Kale’s side of the table and picked up his drink, Kale’s drink was different from Sofia’s and Damian’s as it wasn’t for their age, Lucifer proceeded to pour a cup for himself using Kale’s golden cup.

“But let’s take it easy okay, we wouldn’t want any accidental deaths, would we?” Lucifer said taking slow sips on Kale’s drink with a smirk on his face, for sure Sofia could tell this was someone leaps and bounds ahead of her and she was actually frightened, Kale realizing the sweat beads on his daughter’s head and her shaking hands even with his presence knew he had to do something.

“Who…” before Kale could ask his question Damian immediately bowed his head and at the same time the sound of glass shattering and the low ‘thud’ noise of the golden cup resounded in the dining hall causing silence and confusion.

“I’m sorry” Damian immediately spoke quelling a bit of their confusion, in his eyes the actions performed by Lucifer could also be referred to as suicide, he couldn’t imagine a single demon going to the angel island only to challenge the leader of the angels.

“What...wh…what was that?” Sofia asked, her voice still a bit shaky proven by her stammering words.

“…” Damian with no response remained silent.

After a while Kale asked a question “…Is that your Genesis” Kale asked after being lost in thought trying to come up with an answer for what happened, among all his thoughts this was the most feasible.

“Yes, it’s another persona in me” Damian answered half-truthfully he actually had no idea what Genesis were but he could guess it was what humans used to replace the former era of matrix, he could only agree with Kale and say it was his Genesis to avoid any difficult situations, plus he couldn’t tell them that the demon king that planned to make earthling his servants was inside him. If he was eliminated immediately, he could only guess his fate would be worse.

“You still think highly of the demon king huh…” before Lucifer worsened his situation Damian immediately requested Lucifer to shut up, he could still hear him rambling but it didn’t seem directed at him so he ignored.

“That makes sense, just a rare case” Kale muttered analyzing the current situation internally, “Can you control it?” Kale asked again, he knew it was unlikely if he could control it the personalities wouldn’t have changed so easily now but he still decided to ask.

“Partially, if I focus, I should manage,” Damian answered.

“Keep lying through that shithole, one day I’ll cut ‘em off” Lucifer commented with a chuckle.

Something Damian noticed was it seemed Lucifer was changing as his pride seemed to lessen but on second thought thinking back to when he took over control just now, he crossed the thought off his mind I he hadn’t taken over control back he knew Lucifer would have sat at the position of the head of the table.

“Can you let him out again” as Kale asked this question Damian’s heart seemed to skip a beat.

“Uhm…” Damian tried to bring up an excuse until he suddenly found himself in Lucifer’s domain.

_Sigh_

“Why did you have to do this?” Damian muttered a complaint but he knew there was no use complaining, it had already happened.

“The poor human needs someone to give him a good fight, can you do it?” Lucifer questioned with a smirk and a tone of mockery, “Also I need a way to gauge my current strength, he seems strong enough”.

Damian knew there was no use complaining so he asked again “But now how do you introduce yourself”.

“As Lucif…”

“No” Damian said sternly “I have to introduce you as my Genesis, I guess that’s what replaced matrix… but I have a condition, try not to speak about who you are” Damian spoke his condition.

“…” Lucifer slowly stood up from his throne and once again his figure flashed as he appeared in front of Damian who was still looking up at the pile of bones and skulls almost instantaneously.

‘Am I that weak, I can’t even follow his movement’ Damian remained unfazed by this action but once again thought to himself.

“Fine” Lucifer agreed “but on the condition you aid me in finding my parts” Lucifer demanded making each word clear.

“Fine by me,” Damian agreed.

“Have you ever heard…” Lucifer spoke but Damian seemed to hear the words like whispers in his ears “…” the next few words were inaudible to Damian.

“What did you say?” Damian asked but as he opened his eyes, he realized he was back in his body as if nothing happened, everyone remained in the position he remembered.

“So?” Kale questioned.

“Okay, meet Luci,” Damian said in defeat, letting Lucifer take control.

Once again the aura and malicious intent resurfaced, “Miss me” Lucifer spoke slowly with a devilish smirk, if it wasn’t for the aura Sofia could have admitted that Damian looked more handsome now.
