Damian walked around for a few minutes with no sight of Kale or Sofia, he began thinking, he had literally been to every single room though he didn’t enter not to be disrespectful or mistakenly walk intruding anyone’s privacy, even if he couldn’t use his demon powers well or at all he was at least confident in some of his angel powers that were still functioning, if someone was inside any of the room he should have been able to sense it.

“Downstairs” Lucifer muttered.

“Huh” Damian exclaimed, lightly confused, he had barely heard Lucifer’s words.

“I’ll direct you, go outside” Lucifer began instructing, after about ten minutes of following Lucifer’s directions, Damian finally arrived at a building built behind the mansion, he would have arrived sooner if it wasn’t for him mixing the directions together and Lucifer rambling, he still wondered what Lucifer meant by telling him to go up but he waved the thought off his mind taking it as one of Lucifer’s rambling.

Damian walking into the building pushing the huge double doors at the entrance, walking into the room the sight Damian was met with was one of a dimly lit room almost impossible for him to even see through, the lighting of the building wasn’t the problem of course it was the ash-like fog that filled the entire room, since he set foot into the building making contact with the ash-like fog he could feel his movements partially restricted, though at the entrance it was barely noticeable, as he kept going the fog only became denser and harder to move in.

He felt his feet get stuck once again until he decided to activate ‘pass through’ one of his angel skills still functioning, the moment he activated it his movement became lighter and quicker though it wasn’t to the point of ignoring the fog, it was enough for him to move a bit freely in the area ahead, he looked at his hands and realized he could barely see his fingers, continuing forward to the centre of concentration of the fog he saw twelve glowing white small circles the size of buttons, they were spread out forming a big cube about ten feet, in  the middle of the glowing cube was Sofia in the same attire he first met her, the oversized white trousers and v-shaped neck shirt.

‘Is this what she meant by training? Well it makes sense…’ Damian wondered to himself, he was thinking when he suddenly paused his train of thoughts because he sensed something faintly, he looked in the direction only to see a black small ball it was something that could be held in one hand, it was flying at great speed towards Sofia but before he could move he could already see Sofia in motion, that’s when he realized she could actually move faster than him in the fog at least even if it was by a small margin he could still see it, she immediately stretched out her left hand to support the right which was going to catch the ball, the moment contact was made a very low bang sound was made, Damian could guess the fog also affected sound.

After contact was made Damian noticed her hands shaking. That's when he finally looked at her full being and noticed her drenched clothes and the multiple beads of sweat that covered her face, but above all her face still had a firm determined look.

‘Oh, she’s been here for longer than I thought…’ but before Damian could complete his thought he sensed something else, faster than the last ball he saw by almost double the speed, a small back ball was headed towards him from behind, Damian immediately turned around, he couldn’t stretch his hand out to stop it but he positioned his arms in a defensive manner across his chest and the moment contact was made he was pushed back stopping immediately inside the glowing cube created by the twelve glowing button sized circles, turning around he was met with a confused gaze from Sofia, but it was immediately replaced with a serious expression and he knew why because they could sense the two incoming black balls from the opposite side.

Damian this time seemed to react faster than Sofia, being in the white cube with the skill pass through on made him slightly faster than Sofia, he stepped forward to stop the incoming ball from behind Sofia, Sofia seemed to understand immediately and moved at the same time to stop the ball coming from Damian’s back.

As the ball made contact with Damian’s palm, a huge wave of drowsiness overcame him and at the same time another ball was coming at a greater speed, because of the drowsy feeling his reaction had been a tad bit slower causing the ball to make contact with his stomach, he was lifted off his feet and immediately fell unconscious.

At the dining table, Kale sat at his normal position as the head while Damian and Sofia at the side, opposite of each other, none saying a word of what happened during training Damian found it awkward but he decided against being the one to speak, everyone was just enjoying the meal at hand, at least Damian came from a family of royalties so he at least had the manners not to begin eating until Kale began.

While eating Sofia suddenly stopped and voiced out giving her father a very serious stare “More than fifteen percent” she said sounding partially angry.

“Oops...” Kale muttered with a light awkward chuckle.

“What do you mean ‘oops’” Sofia complained imitating his single word.

“I thought you could handle it…” Kale replied, trying to defend himself.

“You know very well I can’t” Sofia cut him short.

“I mean there were two of you and…” Kale spoke again, coming up with another defensive tactic.

Damian just stared blankly at the father and daughter bickering about, although Kale sat at the head of the table right now it felt like his daughter held all the power right now until they suddenly stopped bickering and both turned towards him, Damian lost in thought didn’t realize him being stared at, the sudden silence didn’t even seem to affect Damian in his thoughts.

“er…” Lucifer trailed off confused at why Kale and Sofia were staring, he wasn’t paying attention to their conversation but when Damian’s mind trailed off it felt more like they were staring at him but his confusion managed to get Damian back.

"Uhm... why the stare” Damian asked with a nervous tone looking at himself again if there was anything wrong with him.

“Nothing, sorry, uhm...just wondering what you were doing in the training hall” Sofia spoke first nervously rushing her words till she calmed down and spoke her mind.

“Well, just decided to drop by and check up on you guys” Damian replied casually.

“I’ll advise you not to wander around too much…don’t end up in the wrong place” Kale said lightly advising Damian. “Kid, will you be joining us with the training?” Kale asked Damian.

“Sure” Damian replied, Kale appeared a bit shocked at his quick reply even Sofia was getting ready to convince him if he refused at least that’s what she expected.
