The lightweight sports car was tossed fifteen feet in the air by the speeding truck colliding into it at full speed.

The airbag deployed as expected, but Alex was thrown forward as the seat belt barely held him in place.

Flipping through the air, the car rolled on the ground as its crumpled frame tossed and turned like a paper ball.

Alex’s head slammed into the ground as the car flipped and overturned, its doors breaking apart as pieces of metal flew off.

The hard impact shattered Alex’s shoulder blade as the car landed directly on top of him, nearly crushing him under its weight.

Dizzy and bleeding out fast, Alex tried to unclasp his seat belt, but his fingers had turned numb due to the nerve damage, making it impossible for him to clench his fist.

“Aghh…”

Alex parted his blood-stained lips to call for help, but instead of words, only blood gushed out of his mouth. He lay there trapped under the smashed-up sports car, with his eyes barely open and his right hand sticking out from und

Alex knew someone had ordered the hit on him. But his growing list of old enemies and new business rivals made it difficult to trace the man responsible without tracking the trucker down.Captain Williams didn’t need any secondary encouragement. Alex’s words were enough to spur him into action.“I’ll track him down to the ends of the earth if I have to. And when I find that bastard, I’m going to put a bullet in his head!”“No!” Alex cut in sharply. “I want him alive. I need to know who ordered the hit. Bring him to me and let me handle the rest.”“Acknowledged!”With that, Captain Williams stormed out of the room, already calling his elite commandos on his way out.“Alex, you really need to rest!” Dr. Lucy called out from behind, rushing to Alex’s side. “You just underwent multiple surgeries. It’s barely been five hours since the accident. The doctors still need to monitor you and make sure everything is okay.”“I am fine. I am not like the rest of—”Alex’s words were cut short by a s

Samantha sent her most trusted man to deliver the God Serum to the Warrington Memorial Hospital, with strict instructions to maintain complete secrecy and hand the ultra-light case only to Dr. Lucy.As the package arrived, escorted by armed security guards, it caused quite a stir in the modest hospital.Even Josiah Warrington felt intrigued by the Kronos Tech uniforms marching up the corridor.“What’s going on? Who are they?” he asked.“I can’t explain right now. But I need your help. We need a room and complete privacy!” Dr. Lucy blurted out before hurrying to prepare Jakob. “I need to warn you…there could be side effects. If things go south, we’ll airlift you to Kronos Tech for a critical evaluation.”Even though Jakob wanted to help Alex in every way possible, Dr. Lucy’s grim warning made him just uneasy enough to second-guess his decision.“Have you used this God Serum on anyone else before? I mean, anyone besides Alex?” he asked with a doubtful expression.“Alex wanted the serum

“What on earth is a God Serum?” Jakob asked, staring cluelessly at Dr. Lucy.“It’s a serum that I created to fix Alex,” Dr. Lucy mumbled back, trying her best to be as discreet as possible. But the astounding lack of information made Jakob suspicious.“What do you mean by ‘fix Alex’?” he asked. “What exactly was wrong with him?”Although the question had a simple answer, Dr. Lucy knew that if she replied honestly, it would expose Alex’s true identity and reveal all his secrets. And that was a risk she wasn’t willing to take.“You don’t need to know all that. Let’s just say Alex was sick…very sick, and I treated him with the God Serum.”“You seriously expect me to believe that?” Jakob asked as he stared at her incredulously. “I don’t like being treated like an outsider. If you want my help, then you need to spill the beans.”“It’s not like that. You just don’t understand—”“You can’t be in here!”Even before Dr. Lucy could finish, a couple of surgeons walked into the room, accompanied

Start an LR solution and administer dopamine stat!”The visiting senior doctor looked on as the nurses rushed to change IV fluids and prepare a dopamine shot."The patient’s condition doesn’t look too good to me. And I fear Josiah Warrington is going to kill us if anything happens to him. We need to give him blood. Reach out to all hospitals, blood banks, and even those illegal clinics if you have to.”The surgeon realized the gravity of the situation and nodded.“It’s going to be difficult to get AB-negative blood on such
