Twilight anticipated the first event as he was looking forward to it his whole life. He was acting like a child who was buying a new toy. His eyes were sparkling with excitement. “Magic! I was always looking forward to this event where you will touch the relics (Orb of truth) you will know what attribute you will get.”

In my previous past life, where magic does not exist, this is one of a lifetime event for me who is an outsider from this world.

“Okay class, Let’s begin the Magic Assessment test!” Teacher Dominica hand over the relics on the white table and explain the magic assessment test while turning on the hologram computer using the remote control on the whiteboard.

Teacher Dominica use the remote control to show the film about the magic assessment test, they were three folders on the screen.

“Monster or human is not that different to each other that why we heroes exist to balance the law of justice and keep the symbol of peace align even though the world is not the same as we know.”

“Next is Origin of Magic, tell me class what is magic?” Teacher Dominica looks at them with a calm demeanor and serious face.

Everyone looks at him and pays attention to him, but twilight is in immersion mode where his world right now is only the hologram computer until her sister nightingale called out his name and pinch him gently in the arm. “Twilight, the teacher is calling out your name.”

Hmm! Twilight realizes his mistake and stands up and asked her sister what is the question “Nee-chan, what is the question of homeroom teacher?” He whispered in her sister’s ears.

“What is magic?” Nightingale whispered back in his little brother’s ears.

Teacher Dominica search his profile information in the name list but she could not find it. “By the way, what is your name?”

“Hmm, I’m twilight, just twilight no last name.”

Several voices were heard in the classroom.

“Tch! So he was the rumored magic cripple who cannot use magic properly and shamelessly enroll into this prestigious academy.”

“Trash! Why the hell are you doing here anyway?”

“Despite being a nobody! The shameless bastard who passed into this academy using the back door!”

Mostly everyone in the class mocks and ridicules him except for the main character and supporting role character that is quiet and paying attention to the class.

Nightingale was trying to shut up those bastards but twilight stop him by calming her down “Calm down, nee-chan I know what you feel but let me handle the rest!”

Twilight stand up and ignore those bastard while he walks in the hallway like a badass and goes to the whiteboard and look at them with a smirk “By the way, are you finished talking like rubbish? I felt bored waiting!”

Several voices were heard in the classroom.

“What the fuck did you say?”

“Know your place bastard!”

“You have a strong nerve to talk a shit!”

Everyone was shocked by my bad attitude response, they were all speechless about his confidence and calm demeanor despite only a course 2 trainee students.

“Who do you think you are to disturb my lesson you brats!?” Teacher Dominica slams the table with her fist and her domineering aura shut up the whole class.

“You may now proceed to answer my question on the whiteboard but this is my warning if you don’t satisfy me with your answer then you will be punished according to your first offense(Bad attitude) So I hope you won’t disappoint my expectation, twilight!” Teacher Dominica coldly said.

Expectation my ass! You have no expectations of me in the first place and I know that you are a strict type of teacher who is not interested in mediocre students that is why you called my name and make me answer the whiteboard to evaluate my worth and if I am qualified or not.

“HAHAHAHAHA!! I hope you won’t disappoint my expectation huh? How about we make a bet Teacher Dominica? If I explain the origin of magic that will satisfy you and the whole class you will become my sponsor and If I lose then I will quit this academy and accept expulsion wholeheartedly.” Twilight laugh aloud and tried to provoke her intentionally.

“Interesting right? At least there is one person who is treated as trash who will leave this academy based on the result and accept defeat like a real man.”

“…” Teacher Dominica was speechless about the bet that twilight offered to her and even though she has the right to expel someone, no one in the right mind will accept expulsion like a thin of paper because once you are expelled, you have no right anymore to enroll this academy a second time based on your record.

“Is this man joking right? No matter how angry he felt because of the ridicule and mocking by his classmate, everything has a limit. No one in the right mind will accept expulsion like a gift!” That was Teacher Dominica thinking.

“Hmph! I don’t know what’s in your mind right now about betting your future in this academy but I hope you don’t regret what you said.” Teacher Dominica summons the magic contract that binds the soul of the contractor and contractee like a [Oath of Pledge] If you broke the contract then you will be punished severely by the god of contract depending on your sin.

Teacher Dominica and Twilight sign the contract together, afterward the contract float in the air waiting for the result, and will vanish later if the contract is completed.

In the meantime, nightingale slap his little brother’s face and cried in front of him “Idiot! Do you even know the consequence that will follow you afterward if you fail the contract? If you lose then I will be all alone again, do you even think the feeling of others that was left alone, the suffering and pain?” Nightingale cried in front of him while worried and scared to be left alone.

Twilight turn on the hologram computer and started the program mode about the explanation of [Origin of Magic]

“Okay! let’s get started.” Twilight uses the keyboard mode and types faster than the speed of sound while showing the class the representation.

“What is Magic? Magic is an ethereal particle that came from under the dimension called the mystical phenomenon, an unknown power that existed ages ago before the first catalyst.”

“Since ancient times, the people who awaken magic refer as what you called [miracle] that created impossible to possible, they were worship and treated as a god that saves the old human in the ages of evolution.”

“Based on the record in 3000 years ago the first human awakened as the magic user was Arthur Light, he was the first generation heroes that used magic to slay darkness lead by the demon lord Diablo (Demon God of Destruction).”

“He founded the first generation heroes called [Legion of Heroes] that fight for humanity for three reasons… regain freedom, protect peace lastly share the love. In the ages of darkness, the demon lord Diablo ruled the world for thousands of years and was finally dethroned by the magic swordsman [Arthur Light]… 1500 years later the first generation heroes founded the Metropolis City and created the system called [Symbol of Peace].”

“That was a long short history of first-generation heroes…In simpler terms, no one discovered yet the true existence of magic and was classified as unknown by the world government.”

Although that was the story plot of the games and I have no reason to tell you yet about the existence of magic because the world will cause an uproar if they know that magic they know was already discovered 100 years later. That was twilight thinking.

“That is why magic theory exists, many researchers and magic scientists trying to discover the origin of magic and none of them yet discovered the truth behind the mystery, if I were to explain magic…that a secret!” Twilight was teasing them while mocking his classmate indirectly.

Everyone was speechless and felt dumbfounded about the last thing that twilight said and become angry about not finishing the story properly.

Several voices were heard in the classroom.

“Hey! If you are telling a story then take responsibility and finish it until the end!?”

“Yeah! The story was reaching the climax point then you just stop and destroy the mood! Are you making fun of us?”

“Holy shit! You are a genius making angry someone without reason.”

The whole class is in an uproar and creating a rally about the complaint that not finishing the representation properly and twilight was chilling while looking at them suffering from curiosity.

Teacher Dominica was shocked about the representation of twilight because 10% of them were classified as secret by the Metropolis Hero Association and only the highest authority knows the existence of the demon lord and the history of it was locked for eternity in the forbidden archive.

“Why in the world does that young man knows the existence of the demon lord and also the history of the first generation heroes that was only known by their descendant? Who exactly are you?” That was Teacher Dominica thinking.

“Okay, that’s enough for today’s twilight! You win the bet and I admit defeat.” Teacher Dominica felt that the young man in front of him is not an ordinary person so she thinks that he has potential.

Look like teacher Dominica notice the true meaning of my representation huh? Twilight chuckled and smile like he was expecting this to happen. That was twilight thinking.

“Twilight, meet me in the office later, and here is my office substitute key card…I have so much to tell you and countless questions.” Teacher Dominica handed over the key card to him.

“Let’s proceed to our lesson and continue the magic assessment test.” Teacher Dominica stands in front of them and uses the remote control to show the last presentation.

The last presentation is all about the attribute,

Magic is the compromise of six types of categories. Elemental magic, Spirit magic, Ancient magic, Forbidden magic, Lost magic, and Supreme magic.

In the record of Tower of Library, the four main types of magic are Earth, Fire, Air, and Water but because of what you called gene evolution, magic is hereditary passed down to their children and creates a new type of magic called “Unique Magic” A new type of attribute that was born in the process called combination sequence between two attributes.

For example,

Ice (Air+Water)

Sand (Earth+Air)

Lightning (Light+Air)

Plague (Dark+Air)

These four are one of them.

“Back to our main topic, now that I explain the three types of [Magic Assessment Test] [Origin of Magic] lastly [Attribute].” Teacher Dominica turn off the hologram computer and bring out the three devices needed for a magic assessment test.

“Let now begin the magic assessment test!” Teacher Dominica started the test.

Everyone in the class was lined up together in a separate line, boys and girls. Teacher Dominica handles alone the task of being the examiner and teaches the student what to do. The first one to touch the orb of truth is Yukimura Ren and the result was… The orb of truth glow in yellow light like a luminescence star.

Several voices were heard in the classroom.

“Holy smoke! Yukimura Ren had the legendary attribute that was known as the strongest attribute that first generation heroes used.”

“Wow! I never thought in my life that we would meet when a new legend was born.”

“Yahoo!”

Next, Furukawa Hikaru, as a noble bloodline he expected to have his clan trait the Ice attribute. As he tried to touch the relics, his sweat dropped a little bit and he felt nervous thinking that this is the moment that maybe he failed his clan’s expectations.

Luckily, he gained an Ice Attribute. He felt a sense of relief and proceeded with confidence in his life.

Several admiring voices were heard in the classroom.

“Are you serious?”

“Not only is he a noble blood but he also acquired his family clan’s powerful attribute Ice.”

“He is a monster!”

Next, Kobayashi Ai, was the daughter of the Starlight guild that was known as the strongest, so she expected to gain the spatial attribute and the result was…she was right and she gained the first generation heroes attribute used.

“She is our hope and dream at the genesis academy.

I never thought the day will come sooner that I will become a magic user. twilight walked into the hallway with sparkling eyes and a face like a naive child buying a new toy, he touches the orb with confidence and the result was… the orb of truth glowed into a radiance of colorless light that resemble the origin of magic.

A crisp notification tone suddenly resounded in his head.

[Congratulations, player! as the otherworlder, you have been chosen as the first human to exceed mortal boundaries and become the strongest man in the multiverse world, the era of your civilization is coming to an end, and now a new adventurous experience is waiting for you.]

A mysterious message that came from out of nowhere show up in front of him. It is like a bug error that is in a form of a transparent screen you could see in any game however this mysterious program doesn’t exist in the game. So the question is “What the hell is going on?”

Calm down! This is maybe a trap that trying to get rid of me from this world or maybe a curse blessing in disguise. In the first place, the concept of a system in this world is like an administrator that restores balance in this world and destroys any threat that may harm the world system.

In simpler terms, this system in front of me is a new system that doesn’t exist yet not until it has chosen me as the new successor.

“Damn it! I have no time to waste, if this system is the one that will help me survive in this world then so be it, I will gladly accept this unknown power whether it came from devils or god as long I can reach my goal to become the strongest man in the multiverse world.”

Twilight click the option yes without hesitation.
