Albert understood what he said, so he frowned and muttered to himself, "You fool. What can you do to me?"

On the stands, David saw that Albert was provoking him and immediately said angrily, "How arrogant!"

"Stop pretending. Do you think a five-star soul can make you return to your former self?"

At this time, the news that Albert had defeated the three students from Class One spread like wildfire in the academy. Immediately, all the students in Class One lost face. Meanwhile, the news of Albert's five-star water-element soul also spread throughout the entire academy, and the students were all discussing it. "Acquiring a soul later in life? I've never heard of such a thing. I didn't expect Albert could really turn his situation around."

"I heard it was a rare elixir left by his parents. Alas... Having good parents is better than anything else."

"A five-star water-element soul isn't that powerful. It's just above average in the academy. And there's only one month left until the academy's big exam. It's impossible for him to catch up with those top students."

"Yeah. The three people Henry that he defeated can't even rank among the top ten in the academy. I heard that all the top ten students in the academy have the strength at the seventh level of the beginner stage. I heard that both Kelly and David have reached the eighth or ninth level of the beginner stage."

Albert finished his training for the day and then left the academy.

On the carriage on his way home, Albert thought back on the battles of the day. Although he won the battle against Henry, it was more difficult than he had imagined. However, those geniuses in Class One were much stronger than Henry. If he faced an opponent with a seventh-level soul, his chances of winning wouldn't be great.

His strength wasn't enough.

Albert's goal was to enter Nouhurst Advanced Academy and find Emily. However, every year, Navia Academy only had a few places available. If he wasn't among the top few students, I'm afraid his chances wouldn't be good.

If he wanted to catch up, not only did he need to improve his cultivation level, but his water-light element soul probably also needed to be upgraded further.

Only in this way could he be confident enough to fight against someone at Kelly's level.

It wasn't easy to upgrade a five-star soul to a six-star soul.

I'll go ask Sister Cherry for it. Albert felt that if he asked Sister Cherry for a large amount of soul liquid, she would be furious with him.

The old house, the accounting room.

Cherry was sitting in front of the desk, carefully looking at the account books. Today, she was wearing a long red dress. Her long hair was scattered over her shoulders, and a few strands of hair fluttered gently in the breeze. There was a look of concentration and seriousness between her eyebrows, and her delicate face looked even more charming in the soft light.

After a long while, Cherry finally closed the account book and then leaned forward slightly. Her rather ample bosom was placed on the desk. She felt relaxed all over and let out a gentle sigh.

Just then, the door was suddenly opened.

"Sister Cherry," Albert walked in.

As soon as Albert entered the door, he saw this scene in front of him. Cherry just reacted and suddenly sat up straight from her forward-leaning position. Her fair face immediately turned red.

Looking at Albert with a startled expression, she said, "Don't you know how to knock before entering?"

Albert lowered his head awkwardly and said, "Sister Cherry, I'll pay attention next time."

Seeing that Albert had a proper attitude, she then said seriously, "Young master, what can I do for you?"

Albert looked behind him and then closed the door and said, "I'll show Sister Cherry a treasure."

As soon as the words were out, Cherry was holding a short sword in her hand. Meanwhile, a dangerous smile appeared on her face. "Don't try anything rash. You can't beat me."

Albert quickly raised his hands and said, "Sister Cherry, what are you doing?"

Cherry frowned and looked at Albert and said, "What's the treasure you mentioned?"

Albert felt a bit puzzled and didn't think too much. Then, the blue water-element soul emerged from within his body, and the water elements in the room started to dance along. Albert revealed his five-star water-element soul.

With a snap, the short sword fell to the ground. Cherry said in shock, "How come you have a water-element soul?"

Albert nodded and said, "It's a five-star one."

Cherry thought for a moment and then came back to her senses and said, "Was it solved by the means left by your parents?"

Albert nodded.

Cherry then remembered her previous actions and her face immediately turned red. She couldn't help but feel ashamed and angry in her heart. "Cherry, you're so embarrassing."

Then she calmed down her mood and smiled and said, "Then congratulations, young master. Emily will surely be happy for you when she finds out."

Albert said, "There's one more thing I'd like to ask Sister Cherry for help with."

"Is it for soul liquid?" Cherry frowned.

"Yes, and this time I'm afraid I'll need five-star soul liquid. The thing left by my parents needs continuous nourishment from soul liquid. Otherwise, over time, it might dissipate." Albert didn't say that he could use soul liquid to improve the level of his elemental soul without limit. Instead, he told a lie. After all, this matter was too important and he didn't want to expose it for the time being.

"Five-star soul liquid..." Cherry's eyebrows were tightly knitted together.

Dennis beside him asked in confusion, Father, why does the Ancestor look nothing like his portraits? The others quickly nodded in agreement. Dennis let out a sigh and smiled wistfully. This scene takes me back to when Third Brother led the First Courtyard Legion to clear the Demon Abyss all those years ago.Cyrus smiled as well.
