"Junior Brother Ling, don't you want to see my uncle leave this afternoon?" Hua Fei asked, reminding Jing Ling that it was quite troublesome when he wanted to.

"Haaaa? Dad is leaving?" Jing Ling immediately stopped his rebellion because he was shocked. "Is it true that father left? Why didn't father tell me anything?"

"I don't know either. Maybe to avoid us," Hua Fei's answer made Jing Ling very disappointed.

"Dad is really too much!" Jing Ling felt very neglected by his father.

"Maybe it's because...."

Hua Fei failed to continue his words and shouted when suddenly, Hua Ling or Jing Ling ran away from him.

"Brother Ling! Wait me!"

"Why is he always so impatient?" Hua Fei could only shake his head repeatedly. The boy walked after his younger brother, carrying Jing Ling's basket. The boy's mouth kept mumbling, as if he was memorizing something.

“Mongoose leaves, coconut oil, lavender oil … then, what else?” Hua Fei walked while opening a book about medicine. "Could it be that black jade can also absorb poison from snake bite wounds?"

"Sucking poison from scars is not allowed, because the poison can be swallowed and cause very dangerous things for the sucker." Hua Fei is still busy with the book on the first method of treating snakebite victims.

Hua Fei had only walked a few hundred steps when he was startled by the sound of other children laughing. The child ran towards the sound of the commotion and found a sight that made him not only shocked, but also very angry. Hua Fei rushed over to Jing Ling who was falling face down with a bleeding nose.

"Ling little brother!" Hua Fei ran to help his brother. However, a boy intercepted his steps.

"Bro!"

‘Stop!” The boy who intercepted Hua Fei snapped.

"You!" Hua Fei stared sharply at the boy who was around his age.

"So, you still know who I am?" The arrogant boy asked back and pointed at Jing Ling who was grimacing in pain. "Then you just ask him!"

"He's nothing Brother Fei! Jing Yanxi is just a coward who dares to gang up!" Jing Ling replied, he staggered and tried to get up from his fall. "And likes to hide behind Uncle Jing Cheng's name after making a fuss!"

"Shut up, you traitorous child!" Jing Yanxi snapped. His eyes radiated deep anger and arrogance.

"Who is the traitor child?" Jing Ling was no less angry. He really doesn't like it when someone brings up his biological father.

"Of course you are, Jing Ling! Shouldn't your surname be Wang and not Jing?" Jing Yanxi burst out laughing in a mocking tone that was followed by his men. "Jiu Wang, isn't that traitor your father?"

"Presumptuous! Looks like your mouth needs to be taught a lesson too!" Jing Ling shouted out of breath. How his heart ached for Jing Yanxi's words which had gone too far.

"You all have gone too far!" Hua Fei violently pushed aside Jing Yanxi's hand that was blocking her. This made the body of a rich merchant's son stagger and almost fall. Several children who were his followers immediately captured the young master's body.

"Young Master!" Jing Yanxi's followers exclaimed.

"Young Master is okay?" asked the fat boy while holding his young master's body so he wouldn't fall.

"Move!" Jing Yanxi slapped away the fat boy's hand. "Of course I'm fine!"

"Hua Fei, why are you defending that child? Isn't he just your uncle's stepson?" Jing Yanxi shouted. "You would be stupid if you still defend him! Soon he will also become your competitor in the future for the position of successor to the sect!"

"Of course I will defend him! Now his surname is Hua!" Hua Fei shouted again. “He is also one of the young masters of our Cloudy Valley Sect! He is on the same level as me!”

"And regarding competition, I won't have any competition with him. He will be the successor of the Cloud Valley Sect, while I don't want that position! Do you understand now?" Hua Fei spoke in a firm tone without the slightest hesitation.

Jing Yanxi looked at the other person's face in astonishment. "Hua Fei, are you crazy? Giving a valuable and honorable position to that fool?"

"Crazy? The crazy one is you, Jing Yanxi! You are crazy about wealth and high status!" Hua Fei continued his words again in an alert manner. "And you're also a spoiled child who can only hide under your father's hanfu robe and kiss his armpits all the time. So, if you never respect other people. I think that's a very natural thing! You're the real burden on the family!"

“Brother Fei, why do you say that?” Jing Ling asked silently. "Thank you, Brother Fei. You have always been my defender."

Jing Ling was truly moved by the concern of Hua Yan's only nephew. They indeed grew up and were raised under the care of Jing Yue and her husband. So it is not surprising that Hua Fei will always defend sincerely if her brother gets bad treatment from anyone. In fact, he was also willing to ask his uncle for forgiveness when Jing Ling was punished for the mistakes he made.

"Hua Feiiii! How dare you be so impudent towards a young master from the Jing Family!" Jing Yanxi shouted in an angry tone. "You guys are just poor children without a biological father! No wonder you don't know the customs of politeness to respect people of higher rank!"

"You were just born as stupid children and as stupid as donkeys!" Jing Yanxi said this, followed by the laughter of his subordinates. "Compared to us, you guys are only worthy of being footwear!"

"Our young master is right. Your clothes are also worthy of being cleaning cloths for all of our shoes!" Jing Yanxi's men sneered while spitting.

"That's right! They're just like those stupid animals!" shouted one of the thin, black boys.

"What did you say? Did I hear wrong?" Hua Fei was the one laughing this time. He felt very amused when he heard Jing Yanxi's words about putting himself first and never being humble to anyone. "And I think a donkey is even smarter than you. I don't think even a frog is inferior to that arrogant you!"

"How dare you laugh at our young master, Hua Feeei!" One of Jing Yanxi's men shouted. He really couldn't stand their young master being insulted and called names by someone who, to them, Hua Fei was just a child with no abilities other than a nerd.

Suddenly, from a distance there was a loud scream. "Move!"
