Chapter 98: Provocation.
Contrary to their expectations, Grandpa Jerry didn't seem overly distant or difficult to approach. Instead, as soon as he saw his granddaughter, a smile appeared on his somewhat aged face: "Caroline, when did you come back? Why didn't you call so I could pick you up!" Caroline seemed a bit flustered by her grandfather's inquiry, shaking her head.

Then she turned to Benjamin and Ancel and began introducing them: "Grandpa, these two are my friends. This is Ancel; don't let his mature appearance fool you – he's only a few years older than me. And this is Benjamin, my former colleague." As she introduced them, Caroline gestured towards Benjamin and Ancel as she spoke to her grandfather.

Hearing his granddaughter's introduction, Grandpa Jerry's face showed a hint of light. He then observed Benjamin and Ancel, who were standing in front of him. Suddenly, he turned to his granddaughter and uttered a sentence that left everyone present dumbfounded.
