33. Lina is not Lina

"Don't do that!" Lina's stern voice echoed as she embraced Akara from behind, causing him to tumble. Now they sat atop Opi's back.

"They killed them." He replied in a hushed tone.

"You're too weak; there's no way you could have fought them!" the girl shouted, prompting Akara to turn around, irritation flashing in their eye contact.

His serpent eyes glowed, but he noticed a change in the girl's eyes too. They now matched his own blue hue precisely. Distracted, their bodies slipped from Frosenix's back, hovering in midair.

"Miss!" Frosenix could only look on, maneuvering to turn around.

"The cleaver strike." King Marbun Bidara prepared to swing a massive sword, his Realm of Gambuh aura—a six-star, six-balls energy domain—emanating. Instantly, the sky shifted to a reddish hue, reminiscent of a twilight evening but darker. A protective barrier, blue in color, enveloped the two figures before him.

"The Mountain Cleaver!"
