The next place Jace found himself after clicking on the “Yes” button was outside an abandoned subway entrance. The place was strange and deserted. Jace was certain he had never been to the location before.

It was dark, and a mist covered the entire tunnel. As Jace stepped onto the staircase, his footsteps echoed, breaking the silence ahead. He continued further, caressing his open arms as the air became colder.

He shook his head, wishing he had not worn his lightweight t-shirt.

“How am I supposed to know that the system would transport me to this weird place?” he asked himself as he continued to caress his arms.

The last place he had been in was outside Serex’s apartment. He recalled walking out of the building, trying to make out his next move. But after much thought, he had decided to attempt the quest before moving forwards.

    Vira was wrapped in blankets as she lay in bed, her gaze fixed on the reporter's next move. When she saw him getting out of bed, she pretended to be asleep.Mr. Alan walked towards his clothes, which were on the ground, and picked them up before going to the bathroom.Vira observed closely, waiting for him to leave the room.
