Chapter 6

Elizabeth is now officially the leader, replacing King Felix. King Felix was quite proud of his daughter for winning the challenge from him.

James was certainly upset, but he couldn't do anything about it. Sehena, the woman beside James, her face also looked unwilling if Elizabeth was chosen to occupy the throne.

"It's a good thing James isn't poor; even if he doesn't become king, he can still fulfill my wishes. Unlike Othniel, that useless man. He's probably dead by now," Sehena said to herself.

"Honey, I need to go to the toilet for a while," said Sehena.

"Want me to take you?" offered James with a small smile.

"No need; you should stay here. I don't want to trouble you," Sehena whispered. Sehena then went towards the restroom. 

Sehena decided to go to the outside restroom because the inside restroom was quite crowded.

Othniel certainly came to Elizabeth's coronation ceremony. He did not have an invitation card, but he was directly invited by Elizabeth.

When Othniel intended to go inside, he accidentally bumped into a woman who was none other than Sehena.

"Othniel," Sehena muttered. Although now Othniel's face was very handsome, of course Sehena could still understand Othniel.

Othniel patted his suit as if he had been hit by dirty dust.

"What did you come here for? You want to disturb me. Do you intend to humiliate me?" Sehena growled. Sehena was certainly surprised by Othniel's appearance, but still, Sehena did not want Othniel to disturb her.

"I have no intention of disturbing you; I just happened to be invited to this event," replied Othniel, which made Sehena laugh.

"You're dreaming too much. You might as well just leave; you don't have an invitation anyway," Sehena said.

"I don't need an invitation card to get inside," said Othniel. 

"You're just trying to annoy me, Othniel! You think that if you dress well and keep your face clean, I'll be interested in you again. You're still a poor, useless man." Othniel just stayed silent as if he didn't hear Sehena's words; the fact was that now he already had everything. 

"Security! Throw him out because he doesn't have an invitation to enter, yet he insists on entering and wants to make a scene." Two security guards immediately came over to Othniel.

"Come out quickly!" said one of the guards.

Othniel chuckled; he didn't feel panicked at all and had no intention of leaving. Instead, Othniel continued to walk in, ignoring Sehena and the guards. That certainly made Sehena angry.

"Force her out! She's bound to cause trouble," Sehena ordered.

The two security guards forced Othniel to come out; one even hit Othniel in the face. Othniel's lips were bleeding from getting several punches.

Othniel didn't feel any pain, even though the blows were very hard. Othniel also deliberately did not reply to the two guards, because that was one of his plans. Othniel had guessed that Sehena would look down on her.

"Keep hitting him; if necessary, take him to prison. That man will only cause trouble here." Sehena spoke with a mocking gaze.

"Stop! How dare you disturb my special guest?" Elizabeth shouted.

"Forgive me, Queen, but this gentleman does not have an invitation to enter," explained the security guard as he bowed his head.

"Guards! Punish those two useless guards," Elizabeth shouted.

"There's no need to prolong this matter; they were doing their duty, and it's true that I don't have an invitation card." Othniel was still casually smiling while wiping his bleeding lip.

"I warned all the guards; there was one person who didn't have an invitation, but he was wearing a special pin; he was my special guest. Are they not paying attention?" Elizabeth growled.

"Someone ordered them to keep me out because they didn't think I was worthy of coming to your important event," Othniel said with a chuckle. His eyes glanced at Sehena, who had a frightened look on her face.

"Who is that person?" asked Elizabeth irritably.

"Later, you'll find out. Now continue your program; there is no need to think about trivial matters like this," said Othniel while embracing Elizabeth's waist.

Sehena stared at them. Her heart was in turmoil, since when did Othniel have a relationship with Elizabeth?

"What kind of lowly method did Othniel use to get close to Elizabeth? Even though his face used to be so disgusting. Let's see, if Elizabeth finds out Othniel is just a poor and useless man, she will definitely regret it." Sehena then went to see James again.

"This is Mr. Niel who helped me make the potion for Emperor YenLen," Elizabeth explained.

King Felix looked at Othniel. He smiled at Othniel, then hugged him tightly.

"Thank you. You are my family's good fortune," he said as he gently patted Othniel's back.

Othniel smiled a little, unnoticed by anyone. His plan had gone smoothly; soon his mission would succeed.

"No need to thank me," Othniel said.

"Because soon you will die. I am not luck for your family, but deadly poison for your family," Othniel said to himself.

"He really deserves to be Elizabeth's husband," Felix said to himself.

"Damn! So this is how Othniel approached Elizabeth; I forgot that Othniel is an expert in traditional medical science inherited from his grandfather. I should have realized beforehand that it would have been James who would have occupied the leader's seat," Sehena grumbled. 

Othniel glanced at his watch; it just so happened that he had been at this event for a long time. Some of the guests had already gone home first; Othniel deliberately went home late so that Elizabeth would never suspect him when something happened with King Felix.

"It seems like it's already night. It's already two in the morning," Othniel said with a chuckle.

"You're right! Shouldn't you rest here for one night?" Elizabeth offered.

"I have to go home; I still have some business to attend to. Congratulations on your success," Othniel said as he gently stroked Elizabeth's head.

"Thank you," Elizabeth replied nervously.

Othniel then decided to return to his home. He couldn't wait for something big to happen.

"James, why did you come into Dad's room so late at night?" asked Elizabeth.

"None of your business," James replied and went to his room.

"He's not likely to do anything harmful, is he?" Elizabeth shook her head; she walked to her room.

In the morning. King Felix's second wife cried out loudly; she was shocked to see her husband, who was pale, and black blood was coming out of his mouth. He was poisoned by Atropa belladonna.

Othniel deliberately gave the poison because it was very deadly if not treated immediately. The poison also worked for about 3 hours, not immediately paralyzing the enemy.

That time, when King Felix hugged him for a long time, Othniel carried out the action; he poured the poison powder into King Felix's suit pocket. Othniel was sure that the powder would hit King Felix's skin.

Not only that, Othniel also put a small insect that Othniel carried in a small bottle in his pocket. When they took a group photo. But he had an incredible deadly poison, and it was certain that King Felix would not survive.

Othniel always wore gloves and drank antidotes to keep himself safe.

"I'm sorry, I had to kill you. It was your own fault." It wasn't long before the system monitor screen appeared, showing that the job mission had succeeded.
