In outer space.

Inside the Mothership.

A three-meter tall humanoid beast could be seen, carrying in its right hand the corpse of a male Sage.

When the three-meter-tall beast pushed open the fleshy door.

Inside the room are collections of different types of humanoid monsters.

Some bodies were hung upside down. It was simply a slaughterhouse.

"Help!"

This humanoid being is still alive as he calls for help.

But the three-meter-tall beast ignored him as it dragged the Sage male's corpse to a tube inside this room.

The ten-foot-tall beast stopped at the tube that was filled with organs.

The monstrous creature lifted the sage's corpse and was about to toss it into the tube when it stopped.

He then brought the corpse near his mouth while biting the corpse's left leg. He forcibly pulled it off.

The monster beast manages to separate the left leg from the base of the body.

The monster then throws the corpse of the sage, whose left leg is missing, into the tube.

The Sage's corpse slowly dives inside the tube filled with yellowish water.

The monstrous beast gazed at the Sage corps, as its lion's mouth smirked as if satisfied with its work.

"I should collect more species from other planets, especially humans. The next harvest should be near."

He brought the Sage leg closer to his mouth again and savagely took bite after bite.

Moments later, the monster finishes its feast.

The beast, feeling delighted, tosses the remaining dismembered leg aside.

Then the monster turns its head to see the center of the room.

At the very center of this room, a large mass of the fleshy brain could be seen.

A red mist appeared beside the fleshy globe and floated inside the room.

The red haze began to transform into a humanoid shape.

This humanoid mist looks like a three-meter-tall monster.

But unlike the beast inside the room, this tiny mist in humanoid form has at least six wings on its back.

The red mist then began to speak.

"Twelve Abaddon, why did you call me? Do you have something to report?" The mist asks.

The three-meter beast called Twelve Abaddon then knelt before speaking towards the mist.

"Superior Bashal Abaddon. I would like to report on our progress on the desolate planet." Said the Twelve Abaddon respectfully.

"The Sage planet? Have you been able to discover their final underground city?" The red haze throws two questions at Abaddon.

The twelve Abaddons nodded and said.

"Superior Bashal Abaddon, at that time we follow the eerie movements of the homunculus."

"Which later leads to the entrance to the facility, but the entrance is guarded by one of Hadem Sage's beasts. It would be difficult to enter."

Superior Bashal is silent for a moment, then finally says. "Land the mothership inside the Sage's Planet; since you've already sealed their mightiest homunculus dragon, destroying the rest of them shouldn't be too difficult."

The twelve Abaddon responded.

"Superior Bashal, what about the star devouring crystal?"

This is the concern of the Twelve Abaddons.

"Bring it back at all costs! Even if you have to destroy the whole planet! It is an essential item to locate the Void space." Superior Bashal said solemnly.

"Yes, superior Bashal, we'll bring it back at all costs!"

'Roar!'

The twelve Abaddon roared as they could not hide their excitement.

The Abaddons, later, wanted to recover the starting devouring crystal that absorbed the foundation of a high planet from the sage.

But they were stuck in their search. They grew impatient as their race needed to retrieve the Star-Devouring crystal.

In order to speed up their search for the Void space.

The mothership begins to move and descends towards the desolate planet.

.....

Inside this dim light tunnel, water droplets could be seen dripping from the ceiling.

Around this time, Manasi suddenly appeared in an abandoned tunnel.

He then observed his surroundings. The tunnel is blocked while the other end was not.

He guessed that the people operating this facility were intentionally blocking the tunnel.

"But why would they block the tunnel? Then it would mean there were some important items inside, most likely a treasure." Manasi said excitedly.

"Spirit system, there's something strange about these walls. Can you identify these walls?"

'Yes, Contractor!'

[Type: Light Stone]

[Rank: C Inferior-Tier]

[Function: Emits light if there is water nearby.]

"Nice, this should be a helpful item. I better get some of this light stone later."

Manasi kept moving forward and suddenly stopped when he found a white gate blocking his way.

'Creek!'

He suddenly heard something breaking and he looked down.

"What's with this red line....Why is there a skull here!"

He then saw the humanoid bones of another creature and the cracked skull he was stepping on, he then hurriedly stepped back.

'Beep! Beep! Beep!'

When Manasi heard that, he quickly paused.

 "[#######]"

"System System, translate what the sound transmits."

'Yes, Contractor.'

[In order to pass the gate, you must first pass a test.]

Timer: 00h:00m60s

Difficulties: Rank C

Function: Spatial Compression will randomly appear for 60 seconds.

Hint: Observation

Reward: Combat Specialist Serum]

Manasi is dumbfounded upon reading the message from the Spirit System.

"Um, Spirit System. Are you sure this is the message?" Manasi didn't want to believe it.

'Contractor, there is only this choice available, or you can leave this place ... but the Homunculus monsters are already heading here. I think you should continue.' Spirit System

"Can you help me cheat, Spirit System?" Manasi said in a whisper.

"..." Spirit System

Manasi could only be frustrated because the Spirit System didn't help him.

"Spirit System, there is a clue 'observation' Perhaps you can assist me with the observation pretty please."

"..." Spirit System

"Please, Spirit System, I don't want to die just yet!" He begged.

'Yes, Contractor, '[Guide]' should be enough to pass the test.' Spirit System

"Thank you, Spirit System." Manasi then composed himself as he crossed the red line.

'Beep! Beep!'

He then saw a number appear as it was displayed on the iron gate.

He then watched carefully and slowly walked forth.

He then saw a small black circle appear in front of his face.

"S***."

Manasi hastily docked down.

As the black circle passed him, he then looked behind him to find the black circle cutting through a boulder as it compressed into a small object.

'Gulp!'

"Spirit system, can't you help me?"

He finally understood how horrible this Sage place was.

'Contractor, I will only help if necessary. This training should help you in the future.' Spirit System

Manasi did not respond to the Spirit System.

As he was quite worried that more dark circles would start to appear.

But deep down, he wanted to retort: 'Train my A***.'

He then started to study these black circles carefully and thought confidently.

"There should be a pattern."

He then began to examine his theory on the attack pattern of the dark circles.

Another black circle suddenly accelerates right in front of his face.

"The pattern should be this: straight at my face."

He hastily steps sideways to his right, but the dark circles suddenly pause and curve to the left.

'Pattern?' Spirit System

"Never mind..." Manasi felt embarrassed.

"...." Spirit System

Manasi began to seriously observe the dark circles.

He then felt something approach him as his thin hair stood on end.

He could feel that on his precious average face, a big black circle was accelerating toward him at a much higher speed than the previous one.

He quickly tilted his head back to dodge but ended up with his head banging against the wall.

'Pak!'

'A-Ahhh!'

Manasi released a tragic scream as he began rubbing the back of his skull.

'Contractor, you must focus because ten more black circles are circling toward you.' Spirit System.

"S***!"

Manasi screamed in horror, as ten black circles began to fly in an unpredictable pattern.

He managed to avoid the black circles.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the countdown.

[00h/00m.06s]

"I'm almost there!" Manasi said as he kept dodging the sweat from his face, which kept dripping.

[00h/00m.00s]

"Ha! Yes!" Manasi raised his hand in a victory pose.

He felt so emotional at his achievement.

'Congratulations, contractor. Clap! Clap! Clap!' Spirit System

"Spirit System, you are making fun of me." Manasi said, as he was pretty sure of it.

 'Beep! Beep!'

Then something came out of the White-Metal Gate, as it shot towards Manasi.

'Oops!'

"I almost dropped the serum! I should check this serum later."

The white metal door begins to slowly open, and before long, he is in the city.

He then started to observe this city with vigilance.

"Based on the outline of this city, it should be very beautiful if someone took care of it, but now it looks like a rundown place."

Manasi said as he slowly walked forth.

He could see a collapsed tower, tall structures, and a twenty-foot-tall Mech Robot that had its lower part separated.

As he walked, he discovered that from time to time, dresses and fabrics of different sizes were seen lying down.

"These should be Sage's children's clothes... How did the Sage Race die? Why would they die if their clothes had no apparent damage?" He said, while frowning.

He could only observe what had happened, as Manasi did not have all the information about what had happened.

"It's confusing to me how much power or ability it would take for a person to be able to destroy an entire race. At the same time, leave their clothes intact. It doesn't make sense." He said that while shaking his head.

He looked ahead and found a huge facility the size of five international football pitches.

The facility is dome-shaped, with a single entrance. There were no windows outside.

The front door is engraved with animal characters.

"This should be the Sage Facility," Manasi said as he grew vigilant.

"Sage's facility should be rightly locked to prevent outsiders from entering and obtaining the secrets of their technology." He was thinking of all possible dangers.

For a while, the Spirit System is silent.

'Contractor, this is a normal door. You can just open it.' Spirit System

"..."

"It would be an impossible spirit system. Surely there would have to be a lock, or any machine, or traps inside the facility, or maybe a beast is waiting to throw itself on me when I come in?" With a solemn expression, Manasi stated.

'No.' Spirit System

"..." Manasi

No one can blame him as he just experienced something like the Dark Circles that are trying to kill him.

"Maybe, just maybe, there's a puddle of fire and acid waiting for me to enter," Manasi said excitedly.

'Contractor, stop your non-sense and get over it.' Spirit System

Manasi no longer spoke because he was ashamed of himself.
