(Author's Note: This story is not meant to offend anyone, or paint anyone in a good or bad light. I am not an American, if you are asking. My only intention is to entertain you)

The President stood in the middle of the podium, with lights from countless cameras flashing and recording this event; there were leaders, even soldiers from all around the world, seated in this event, "This once peaceful country, now devolved into a messy, unstable nation, the enemy has not stopped, they have not wavered, and peace, well, there can never be peace with the enemy knocking on our door. And even in this trying time, it is important that we give our respects, our praises, our admiration to the man and woman who died and served our country valiantly."

He stepped out of the podium, ready to place medals around the necks of the soldiers.

One by one, the soldiers stepped forward, receiving their medals. However, the majority of the medals were given to the wives and children of the soldiers, for most of them who served perished in battle.

He placed the second last medal of honor around the soldier's neck. The President looked around to find Gabriel; however, he was nowhere to be seen.

Finn walked towards the President before whispering into his ears, "Sir, there has been a delay. It will take a few more minutes."

"Okay, we continue with the musicians." He replied before walking towards the President of Singapore.

"President Wu Tianyi, thank you for coming here."

"Pleasure is all mine…" The Singaporean President smiled.

If any country benefited from the war, it was Singapore; both China and Russia had no interest in taking over Singapore, so the small country developed an alliance with countries that had no interest in the war and took advantage of the fact that all the main economic and military superpower were weakening in economic terms, and in two decades into the war, they have developed themselves as the world's economic superpower, and with the help of the US government, they were able to take over a few countries in the Middle East and Asia with relative ease, and with the citizens of those countries suffering in poverty due to the war, they were more than happy for Singapore to put in their money in their country.

"I'm sorry, President William, but I heard Gabriel Jones would be here."

"He will be here soon. There has been some sort of a delay."

"I understand."

The door opened, and as quickly as they saw who it was, the cameras turned to the door.

President William chuckled before he patted President Wu Tianyi's shoulder, "He's here."

The soldiers guarding the entrance didn't waste any time, quickly surrounding Gabriel Jones, blocking the reporters from coming close. “Move! Stay back!.” They shouted.

They needed to take this much precaution considering the amount of times people had tried to assassinate Gabriel. And even though they were inside the White House, with everyone including the reporters vetted, they couldn't take a chance at losing their multi-billion dollar experiment.

Gabriel smiled, waving his hands and walking through the crowd towards the podium, but while he was doing that, the reporters took advantage of this and started asking him questions, “Sir, do you want to comment about the number of people you have killed to retake Florida?”

Another one tried to put a mic directly under his mouth, “Supreme Leader Lev Volkov has called you a serial killer and war criminal, how would you like to respond?”

However, amidst all of the questions that have been thrown at him, he continued smiling, covering his eyes from the flashes of the cameras, making his way to the podium without answering any of their questions and letting the guards do their job, pushing the reporters away.

As he finally reached the podium, he brushed the dust from his suit and wiped the sweat off his face.

“I came here to celebrate. I came here to announce that Florida is American once more.” His smile slowly disappeared from his face before he pointed at the door, “However, the moment I came into this room, I was met with not any congratulations, not with a thank you, but judgments after judgments.” He then looked at one of the reporters who tried getting an answer out of him.

“Eleonor Blake, I read your latest article, calling me a monster, a serial killer. And you called for me to be put to prison, and to be put down. Now, Eleanor, I find it funny that you said that because, at the end of your article, you specified that I should be killed only after America is free. You don't think of me as a human being, you think of me as a heartless machine that is used to free this country, but I am the only one protecting this country from complete annihilation. If you were in Russia, writing articles like those, Sergei Nikolai would rip you piece by piece before feeding you to dogs on the street.” He then turned to the television, “But I am not Sergei Nikolai, I am not Xiong Lei, I will never do that, but I would love if you start treating me just like any other soldier, with respect.” he said before going to his seat beside the President of the United States.

President William shook the Project Agent before walking up to the podium, “I would like to thank everyone for being here, to finally give the Project Agent his flowers, but before that, I want to thank again everyone in this country, the soldiers, the doctors, the workers, the citizens. If it weren't for every one of you, this country would be nothing, and I mean that. Gabriel Jones is a perfect representation of this great country, what we are capable of achieving, success after success, and when we fail, we learn, and we get up, and through all the failures we have been, we have always come out the other side greater than we ever were. There has been nothing, no matter the size, no matter the number, that has managed to wipe us off the face of the planet. And that is a fact! We are not afraid of the Hong Party, or the Russian Iron Empire, we will not kneel, and we will not be defeated, because we never bow, we never bend, we never break, we endure, we overcome, we are America, second to none, and we own the finish line!” He screamed as the soldiers and the family that was present stood up and started clapping.

Gabriel then stood up clapping as he walked towards the podium, his head lowered. “That was a great speech, Mr President.”

Chuckling, William nodded, “I know it was, I went back to the archives to find this speech.” he said before raising the medal of honor and placing it around his neck, “Congratulations on getting your second medal of honor.”

“Thank you, Mr President.”

The clouds started covering the light shining from the sun, and the village darkened. Bjorl looked up and shook his head, “I can't help with you that.” He said before walking towards the store. Gabriel was taken aback by this, “Hold on, this is a blacksmith, anyone would expect you to be able to craft a bow.” “As I said, if you want that, you came to the wrong place, you can get help with the spears and swords, but not that.” He kept walking towards the store. Gabriel held onto the Blacksmith’s shoulder before pointing at the store’s logo, which included a bow, “Next time, dont put anything you won't be able to craft on your store’s insignia.” The Blacksmith, stared at the insignia while his lips quivered. He didn't reply to the village’s new defender and entered his store. “Can you believe this guy?” Gabriel turned to Moel and the Captain. “Tell me there is another blacksmith here?” The Captain looked equally as confused, “No there isn't.” “Thats great…” He replied sarca

“Aren’t spears better than the sword in this situation?” The Captain questioned. “I did. But it doesn’t mean that there is no space for a swordsman, especially someone as skilled as you. While everybody does the spearing you will be doing the slashing, putting extra damage on those bears as fast as you can. And when you need to, hide behind those who have spears to regain your energy.” The Captain nodded, “I see wisdom in that… Well, will you start training the guards?” Gabriel shook his head as he pointed at the other guards, “They will be training, as for you and me, we will be looking for some archers. Do you know any?” “I do, most of them are dead from the recent fight against that red bear. They were very skilled.” Talnuc commented. “I know how to use the weapon, but I am not skilled in any way.” “That’s good enough, I have an idea. We have the villagers who will not be doing anything. They can stay at a safe distance and shoot arrows towards the creature while we do the

“Well, they might be a bit rusted sure. But in this case, and against the enemy that we are about to face, these weapons will suit all of you better.” Gabriel replied. “You know that’s bull-” “It's not if I can prove it to you,” Gabriel interjected sternly and turned toward the small crowd of guards. “I need one man to pick up this weapon for demonstration.” “I’ll do it,” Norvin said, still confused about how a bunch of rusty old spears would be able to help him in this situation. He held his breath as he lifted the weapon, expecting it to be heavy, but the weapon came off the ground easily. “It's lighter than I expected.” He whispered. It was lighter than the longsword that he was used to but not by much The Captain got closer to Gabriel, his head shaking, “I don’t know what you're trying to do, but unless you prove to these men, that spears are capable of killing those red bears. They won't follow your orders.” Gabriel smiled, “Don’t worry, they’ll trust me.” He said before

“Sutherland!” Talnuc, the Captain of the Village Guards approached Sutherland, whose face had been dirty by the hours-long work of rebuilding the torn-down village wall alongside the other villagers. “Tomorrow…” Sutherland shook his head, wiping his face as he walked towards his house, “I’m tired, can’t you see?” “No, you have to do something about this, you can't imagine what the Chief did!” Talnuc stopped the Advisor. “Tomorrow,” Sutherland repeated. However there was nothing Sutherland could do when the Captain used his hands to stop him, Sutherland was just an advisor after all. “The Chief has declared a state of emergency!”Sutherland rolled his eyes, “Captain, look around you, does it not look like a state of emergency to you?”“Well let me finish, he declared the Guardian’s decree and gave the power of guardian to the new visitor.” Sutherland was immediately awake after hearing this, “Are you sure?”“I got the news from the Chief himself, I am not going to leave the fat

“Shagrat na lugburz!” The skinny creature commanded the newly grown red bears. The bears struggled to move around, only a few seconds ago they were newborn cubs, but now they were forced to grow up, and since they hadn't learned to walk, the balance of their body was weak. However, the almost humanoid short red bear raised his hand, his gesture almost looked like a puppeteer trying to control its puppets. And as soon as it did that, the emotion that was present in the cub's eyes were all gone and they started moving towards Gabriel with their mouth ready to chew on him. Gabriel raised both his hands to defend against them, but as one of the bears swung his hand at him, he could feel that the bears had nothing but bones. And the bones weren't hard at all. They were as soft as babies. “Guess we all make mistakes, huh,” Gabriel said before ripping the bear in half, almost like paper. The body was stretched too thin. And its weight was just slightly above the weight of a cub. The oth

Knock! Knock! Knock! “Who’s that!?” The village chief shouted. “It's me, Chief. You called?” Moel explained. The village chief quickly opened the door to his office. The eye bags under his eyes were deep, as the monk took a peek into the office, he could see that the village chief had been spending time working. “Come in!” he escorted the monk to sit. “Anything from the Empire or the Kingdom?” Moel asked, wondering if the Empire or the Kingdom had received their message of plea. They have been waiting for a response for a very long time, but to no avail. “Nothing, just as usual.” The Chief replied in disgust as he continued cutting open the letters. “They will only respond if we have anything that can help them. The only ‘help’ we are getting is some good wishes from the cities.” “Typical… Typical…” Moel shook his head before his eyes were caught on one of the letters on the Chief’s table. “What’s this?” The monk pointed at the letter. “That’s the letter from the Village of
