Maeson stood still on the bright glass deck. She looked at the tall shadow standing in the thick gray mist. The figure had the exact same face as her young brother. He wore the same dark coat and the same heavy boots. He even had the same dark eyes full of pure fear. Maeson felt a cold sweat on her neck. She turned her head and looked behind her back. Her real young brother sat by the wooden wheel. He held the bright blue stone tight. He looked at the new boy right now today.
