"Mom, honestly, there was nothing important between Lily and me. She merely asked for forgiveness and such," Kiara recounted the restroom incident to Camellia.

"Is that all Lily said? She didn't cause any trouble, did she?" Camellia's tone indicated her uncertainty to what Kiara was saying.

In Camellia's perspective, Lily might have threatened her daughter, which explained Kiara's reluctance in explaining what had happened in the restroom.

"Mom, I'm not lying whatsoever!" Kiara felt wronged, seeing the doubtful look Camellia was giving her.

"If you're really telling the truth and not hiding anything, then why didn't tell me all this when I was asking you?" She gave her an I-caught- you look.

"I refused to tell you anything, because I feared you might go meet Lily and create another chaos again." Kiara responded truthfully.

"oh, so that's it."

"Yes." Kiara said. "When Lily apologized to me, I felt it was all a pretense. I'm sure she has something up her sleeve."
