Kiara fell to the ground as soon as the notification flashed on her eyes. It took just nine hours to complete a whole nine task and it left the two individual stressed out.
However Ghou on the other hand stood still on the ground, reading the text on the screen like it was a complete textbook.
“I won’t die like this.. We won’t die like this.” His red and baggy eyes revealed determination as he said those words. Just as the notification wrote, the Escape Room could never be an option to escape and by the way, no wonder it was named Gualivere passageway, it was never a guaranteed escape room.
“I think we can now only rely on Elbert and his wizardry.” Kiara said some seconds later after noticing the undying aura from Ghou, “But I never knew that guy could be this evil.”
“That is his nature, he’s always determined and willing to get what he wants, especially since he has a broken family.”
The room remained silent afterwards until the system dropped a notice nineteen minutes later.

A spark of excitement ignited in the two people’s heart seeing the offer from the system. Though the three offer except the first one which was a death deal sounded tough, but it still brought an opportunity for them.
“Which are we going for Ghou.” Kiara jumped from the ground with excitement in her voice, “The first one isn’t an option, and I already love the second one.”
Ghou’s eyes were still red and baggy, but he had immediately forgotten about all of those as he fancied at the offer, “Second option for me too, especially when we’ll be given enchanted weapon.”
After Ghou and Kiara confirmed the option two, a pair of neat and sharp looking swords appeared on Ghou’s palm and Kiara with a glowing trident, while a single warning came from the system

Meanwhile outside the realm, Elbert sat in his chambers preparing a variety of different potion since an serious issue was left on his care. A young girl, in her late teenage years stood beside him carefully watching his hand movement that seemed very fast due to his uprising tension, this girl was Mia who had awoken few days after the Palace incident.
It’s been six days and Empress Kiara Mihou, alongside Ghou still laid unconscious on a flat table with their body that was already turning pale.
“Will they be alright.” She asked turning her gaze to Ghou and his pet that laid on his chest like he was only asleep, “And his pet is already in grief.”
“And what do you mean by that.” Elbert retorted to Mia’s words with the thought of the newly crowned express dying out of something that he claimed as minor, “I sent even the war guards out of here, don’t think I can’t do that to you.”
Mia’s face twitched with shock after hearing Elbert words which sounded mostly rude. But she had nothing to offer so the only thing she could do was to remain silent and at the same time try to console him.
“But you’re done with the potion, right?”
“I pray so.”
After some more minutes, he finally stood up with an azure colored potion in his palm.
“I pray this works.” Elbert walked towards Ghou with a worried expression especially since this was the fifteenth try. Without another word he opened his mouth before pouring half the potion into his mouth.
“You could have given it to the empress first?” Mia said with raised eyebrows after seeing Elbert’s action.
“What if It’s poisonous.”
The reply left Mia speechless while she dazed Elbert who did not feel a little bit of shame in his words.

Before he knew it, two large minotaur appeared in front of him, and they immediately began to screech their sharp claws to the ground, creating a sound of two metallic sword clashing.
Without wasting more time of scanning the beasts, Ghou immediately readied his sword and went for an defensive stance in case if the minotaur had decided to attack first. And as he planned, the two beasts sprang up and charged towards him, pointing their large pointy horn at him.
Unfortunately, Ghou heart began to dance in fright seeing the King beast running towards him. Why was he now scared all of a sudden?
Within an instance he felt like his body began decapitating, and the next second he opened his eyes only to find himself in a familiar room.
“What… Alistar?” Ghou immediately sat upright, only to see Alistar who looked glad to see him but unfortunately Alistar remained silent since they could not have a conversation in front of Elbert and Mia.
“Ahh. Thanks the heavens.” Elbert gave a sigh of relief before proceeding to pour the whole content of the potion into Kiara’s mouth.
Mia felt butterfly in her stomach immediately after seeing Ghou who looked confused but yet excited. Without a word she ran towards Ghou and pulled him in an embrace, “I knew you won’t die, not like this.”
Ghou’s face flushed red as Mia didn’t pull out. As much as he was embarrassed by the scene, he loved this one moment and proceeded to embrace her before pulling off after some seconds.

When Alistar’s tail made contact with the man skin, he instantly felt a sharp pain that felt like he was being stung by millions of needles. Even at that, the mage also felt similar pain as the force sent from the tail would be enough to shatter his skeleton with one blow, but fortunately, he used the ‘Adamantine technique’ which had the capability to strengthen his skin. “Humm.” The animated mage finally gave a word with shivers running down his spine. Even with the Adamantine skin, he shivered to the force of t

Chapter 34 - One Mommy Oxyl
Chapter 34 – One Mommy Oxyl Ghou stood motionless in front of his door staring at the talisman that suddenly flew to his palm. He turned his gaze once again to the position of the carriage but unfortunately, it was long gone. “What is this? Since when was there a Winterfoe kingdom?” “I’m definitely going to try it out.” “Thank the heavens for this kingdom, the empire is really becoming a risky place. Winterfoe kingdom here I come.” These were the words of the people around the scene with most of them having a bright face and only few of them making any reasonable comments. ‘I must inform Kiara about this nuisance, how can a so-called king lower himself to the stage of going into kingdoms and empires looking for citizens!’ Ghou felt disgusted with the ill action that was considered inappropriate by many. With that in mind, he flew into the room to take a quick bath and other things necessary before going to the Palace. *** Thud! Thud! Alistar continuously bangs on the door
