"About that sir, we'll be needing quite several things." Dominic looked at Aiden, wondering how the latter would be able to revoke the court order.
"You should pen it down then," Aiden suggested. "That'll be better." Dominic agreed, then turned to pick a pen and blank sheet. "You should list everything that we need to make the company functional again," Aiden added. "Alright." Dominic nodded and began to scribble on the paper. The sharp noise from the pen cut through the silence as Dominic wrote while Aiden watched. "Here sir." Dominic soon finished and handed the paper to Aiden. Aiden stretched his hands and collected the paper from Dominic, his eyes scanning the entire content. "I..." "Ding!" The mechanical voice sounded, interrupting Aiden, who was about to say something. "Complete all the necessary steps written in the paper in a month." The voice said. "Host has received five hundred million dollars and a skill." The mechanical voice continued. Just like the last time, a light screen popped in front of Aiden with a percentage bar reading "Uploading skill." "Skill uploaded." The system's mechanical voice came and the next moment, Aiden felt a warm stream of information rush into his head. But this time around, there was a little pain that came with it and it was not all seamless like the last time. After a while, the flow of information stopped and the pain also disappeared. At that moment, Aiden had a smile on his face. What the System had given him this time was different. It has given him the art of medicine. At the moment, he could see and treat almost any kind of illness with just a wave of his hands. Be it traditional or modern medicine, he had a peak understanding of them both. Though he was a little bit confused as to why the System would give him such, he didn't bother too much and just glanced back at the paper. "Failure to do so results in death." The mechanical voice added before completely going silent. Aiden sighed and shook his head. Just as he had expected, the penalty, too, this time was death; well, he was going to have no other choice but to complete the mission. "Let's Imagine the first problem has been solved." Aiden began, raising his head to look at Dominic who was staring at him. He knew well that as long as he was able to do what the system wanted, he was not going to die. Also, he had been armed with what he needed, so there was no room for failure. "Yes sir." Dominic nodded hurriedly. Though he didn't know what Aiden was planning, he had a feeling that it was not going to be simple. "The next thing I'm seeing here is cleaning and repainting the building." Aiden continued, raising his head to look at Dominic. "Yes sir, it's been ages since the company was cleaned; we would need to do a whole lot of cleaning and then, at the same time, have to paint the exterior part and also some other things," Dominic explained. "That would cost us about how much?" Aiden cut directly to the point, wanting to know how much it was going to cost. "That should be about five million dollars." Dominic thought for a while and replied. "Alright, that being said, I'll transfer the money to you." Aiden glanced at Dominic and brought out his phone. "Then we have the next part which is replacing the machines and other equipment." Aiden scanned the paper and turned back at Dominic. "If I were to suggest, I would prefer we replace all the equipment as it's been over five years. I'm sure they would be faulty, and most of them would have been out of date." Dominic explained. "But I don't know how much you have, so, I can't just say we should change the machine outrightly." He added. "But which do you think would be the best for us?" Aiden couldn't care less about the monetary aspect and asked. "It would be better to buy new ones, that way, we won't have to be worried about failure or anything else," Dominic responded. "And that would cost us how much?" Aiden inquired, still staring at Dominic. "Well, if I'm to roughly estimate it, that would be about a hundred million." "That's a hundred and five Million dollars," Aiden muttered, playing with his phone. "The last item here states that we would hire staff," Aiden continued, having a rather long expression. "Yeah." Dominic nodded, still wondering if Aiden was planning on forking out a hundred and five Million. "Good, now let's get back to the first issues." Aiden looked at Dominic, his expression finally taking him seriously. "About that sir." Dominic forced a smile, not knowing what to say. He was sure that Aiden didn't know what had happened, and that was why he wanted to take over the company. But since the latter wanted to try, he was going to let him try. What he loved in the latter was his determination. Despite all that he had been told, he had refused to give up and was confident that he would be able to turn the situation around. "What do I do?" Aiden asked, scrutinizing the paper in his hands. The rest were not as tough as the first one. The first one was probably what was going to take his time. He wanted to see who was behind the downfall of the company. Though he was sure that the other party wouldn't act till he felt threatened again, this time he was not worried. "There is quite a list of things we'll have to do, Mr. Aiden, and I'm afraid it'll cost you some money too." Dominic started, a bitter smile spread across his face. "You don't have to be scared about the monetary aspect, I'll take care of it." Aiden waved his hands rather confidently. "Since that's the case, one of the things we would need to do is get a lawyer first," Dominic stated, still wondering how Aiden would go about it.

The moment Aiden stepped out of the house, a white Mercedes pulled up before him.Seeing the car, Aiden smiled widely. This was a good thing, at least he was going to have a free ride this morning.Just as expected, Elsa soon alighted from the car, glaring at Aiden."Why have you come to me this morning? Isn't it a bit too early?" Aiden chuckled, staring at Elsa."Ain't I your personal assistant. Why can't I come anymore?" Elsa scoffed, rolling her eyes at Aiden."You're done with your work?" Aiden asked, feeling rather shocked.Wasn't this lady a little bit too efficient? He estimated it was supposed to take her about two to three days and was not expecting to see her till then."Well, I'm not as lazy as you are, so it's nothing much," Elsa pouted before standing by Aiden's side."The first batch of flour has been delivered to Snack Shack," Elsa reported, her tone finally becoming serious."With the last batch of raw materials remaining at the factory and the already made bags of flo
Dragon Eater

Even in the past when he came home looking like he was drunk, he wasn't this pale looking and drunk."He'll be fine," Kayla muttered, then turned back to the TV to continue watching it.Aiden on the other hand staggered into his room. Aiden's Shock
"He...he had been poisoned..." Scarlett stuttered, her eyes still filled with tears."Poisoned?" Aiden frowned slightly, not believing his ears.Though he didn't intentionally check Scott's body when they met, he should have been able to tell he was poisoned the moment he laid his eyes on him."Yes," Scarlett nodded, looking over at Scott who was still lying on the sofa, snoring lightly."I see," Aiden muttered and didn't say anything else.Though he was tempted to ask how Scott was poisoned, he held back from asking. Since Scarlett didn't tell him, there was no need to poke his nose into what was none of his business."Dr. Aiden," Scarlett called, breaking the silence, pulling Aiden back to his senses."Can you treat him?" She asked slowly, still staring at Aiden, hope written all over her face."Well..." Aiden sighed, not even knowing what to say.Since he couldn't even see Scott's condition at a glance, he was not confident in treating him at all. This was the first time something
