"About that sir, we'll be needing quite several things." Dominic looked at Aiden, wondering how the latter would be able to revoke the court order.

"You should pen it down then," Aiden suggested.

"That'll be better." Dominic agreed, then turned to pick a pen and blank sheet.

"You should list everything that we need to make the company functional again," Aiden added.

"Alright." Dominic nodded and began to scribble on the paper.

The sharp noise from the pen cut through the silence as Dominic wrote while Aiden watched.

"Here sir." Dominic soon finished and handed the paper to Aiden.

Aiden stretched his hands and collected the paper from Dominic, his eyes scanning the entire content.

"I..."

"Ding!" The mechanical voice sounded, interrupting Aiden, who was about to say something.

"Complete all the necessary steps written in the paper in a month." The voice said.

"Host has received five hundred million dollars and a skill." The mechanical voice continued.

Just like the last time, a light screen popped in front of Aiden with a percentage bar reading "Uploading skill."

"Skill uploaded." The system's mechanical voice came and the next moment, Aiden felt a warm stream of information rush into his head.

But this time around, there was a little pain that came with it and it was not all seamless like the last time.

After a while, the flow of information stopped and the pain also disappeared.

At that moment, Aiden had a smile on his face. What the System had given him this time was different.

It has given him the art of medicine. At the moment, he could see and treat almost any kind of illness with just a wave of his hands.

Be it traditional or modern medicine, he had a peak understanding of them both.

Though he was a little bit confused as to why the System would give him such, he didn't bother too much and just glanced back at the paper.

"Failure to do so results in death." The mechanical voice added before completely going silent.

Aiden sighed and shook his head. Just as he had expected, the penalty, too, this time was death; well, he was going to have no other choice but to complete the mission.

"Let's Imagine the first problem has been solved." Aiden began, raising his head to look at Dominic who was staring at him.

He knew well that as long as he was able to do what the system wanted, he was not going to die. Also, he had been armed with what he needed, so there was no room for failure.

"Yes sir." Dominic nodded hurriedly. Though he didn't know what Aiden was planning, he had a feeling that it was not going to be simple.

"The next thing I'm seeing here is cleaning and repainting the building." Aiden continued, raising his head to look at Dominic.

"Yes sir, it's been ages since the company was cleaned; we would need to do a whole lot of cleaning and then, at the same time, have to paint the exterior part and also some other things," Dominic explained.

"That would cost us about how much?" Aiden cut directly to the point, wanting to know how much it was going to cost.

"That should be about five million dollars." Dominic thought for a while and replied.

"Alright, that being said, I'll transfer the money to you." Aiden glanced at Dominic and brought out his phone.

"Then we have the next part which is replacing the machines and other equipment." Aiden scanned the paper and turned back at Dominic.

"If I were to suggest, I would prefer we replace all the equipment as it's been over five years. I'm sure they would be faulty, and most of them would have been out of date." Dominic explained.

"But I don't know how much you have, so, I can't just say we should change the machine outrightly." He added.

"But which do you think would be the best for us?" Aiden couldn't care less about the monetary aspect and asked.

"It would be better to buy new ones, that way, we won't have to be worried about failure or anything else," Dominic responded.

"And that would cost us how much?" Aiden inquired, still staring at Dominic.

"Well, if I'm to roughly estimate it, that would be about a hundred million."

"That's a hundred and five Million dollars," Aiden muttered, playing with his phone.

"The last item here states that we would hire staff," Aiden continued, having a rather long expression.

"Yeah." Dominic nodded, still wondering if Aiden was planning on forking out a hundred and five Million.

"Good, now let's get back to the first issues." Aiden looked at Dominic, his expression finally taking him seriously.

"About that sir." Dominic forced a smile, not knowing what to say.

He was sure that Aiden didn't know what had happened, and that was why he wanted to take over the company.

But since the latter wanted to try, he was going to let him try. What he loved in the latter was his determination.

Despite all that he had been told, he had refused to give up and was confident that he would be able to turn the situation around.

"What do I do?" Aiden asked, scrutinizing the paper in his hands.

The rest were not as tough as the first one. The first one was probably what was going to take his time.

He wanted to see who was behind the downfall of the company. Though he was sure that the other party wouldn't act till he felt threatened again, this time he was not worried.

"There is quite a list of things we'll have to do, Mr. Aiden, and I'm afraid it'll cost you some money too." Dominic started, a bitter smile spread across his face.

"You don't have to be scared about the monetary aspect, I'll take care of it." Aiden waved his hands rather confidently.

"Since that's the case, one of the things we would need to do is get a lawyer first," Dominic stated, still wondering how Aiden would go about it.

"Yes...yes ma'am, that's the case," the soldier stuttered, nodding, not daring to say the truth. There was no way he would dare say the truth after witnessing Aiden's skills. Well, that was if he didn't want his life."Good, good," Scarlett grinned, walking forward and patting the soldier's shoulders.Though she didn't know how he had done it, she assumed he had caught them off guard and thus everything was easy. The others seemed to think like this and thus didn't ask any questions.Well, they would have nearly lost their mind if they knew what really happened. At the moment, Justin had quite a scowl on his face but didn't say anything. The credit had been taken away by someone under him, this was unacceptable.Though he was still going to get some of it, but it was still not going to be as much as that of the soldier, after all, Scarlett and Scott were not going to let him change the narrative."Let's step outside and let the soldiers search the building," Scarlett commanded, turni

  • Giving Credit

The five men approaching instantly opened fire on Aiden the moment he dashed forward.Aiden grinned and continued to move. He couldn't be bothered to shield his body with Qi. He was now impervious to knives and bullets. Only a higher range of fire power could harm him.Well, that would last until he got to the Nascent Soul Realm. Once he was in that Realm, nothing would be able to harm him.The men watched in horror as the bullets bounced off Aiden's skin. Before they could recover, Aiden had already gotten to them.Grabbing the nearest one, he pulled him closer and with an uppercut, he sent him flying. He then moved, arriving instantly before the second one and elbowed his jaws before grabbing his gun and hitting him on the head.By now, the remaining three had come back to their senses and began to shoot at Aiden again spradoically. Now, he was in a closer range, so they didn't believe the bullets wouldn't be able to pierce him.But that was all their imagination. The moment the bul

  • Don't Act

The soldier wasted no time and spun to his right, accurately shooting the criminal."Another behind me," Aiden continued, pointing behind him.And sure enough, there seemed to be a small passage, and there was a man slowly approaching as though to catch Aiden, who was sitting off guard."To your left," Aiden said again, even before the soldier to rest easy.At this point, the soldier stopped doubting Aiden and began to follow his orders. Though he didn't know how Aiden was able to identify their location. He didn't care and continued to take them down with Aiden instructing him. It was as though Aiden had eyes all around and was able to see through. After a while, Aiden finally stopped giving orders, which made the soldier breathe in a sigh of relief. The criminals were starting to get much, and with only him, he wasn't sure if he would be able to keep up."Let's go, I've spotted the leader," Aiden suddenly stood, preparing to leave."Huh?" The soldier froze, not believing his ears."

  • Ask Less Questions

"Hey, Stinky doctor," One of the special force soldiers waved at Aiden the moment he alighted from the sir."Sir..." Scott swallowed, feeling rather helpless at the situation, hoping Aiden wouldn't take it to heart."You don't have to worry, I won't react rashly," Aiden chuckled, putting his hands into his pockets while walking towards the soldiers.Hearing this, Scott breathed in a sigh of relief, then rushed towards Scarlett waiting for him.The plan was to seal off all escape routes, then have Alexander and Justin go into the house with Scott and Scarlett backing them up.The special force soldiers would come in, in groups advancing slowly and in case of a shootout, they would be able to directly help the others. The plan was simple but effective.Aiden, on the other hand, walked towards the soldiers who seemed to have a mocking smile all over their faces.Saying he was not going to act rashly didn't mean he wasn't going to teach them a lesson. He would teach them a full-blown less

  • Julius

Minutes later the taxi pulled up before a police station. Paying the driver, Aiden alighted from the taxi and stared at the building.Just right outside the station were three vans. Special force officers stood beside the van, fully armed, prepared to get into the van.By the side were four distinct figures: Scarlett, Scott, Alexander, and one other man whom Aiden didn't recognize."Do we have to wait for that stinky doctor?""Do you realize we would be punished if those criminals escape right under our noses all because you all are waiting for a stinky brat?" The man, Julius, whom Aiden didn't recognize, suddenly spoke, sounding rather impatient."I..." Scott wanted to explain, when he raised his head and saw Aiden approaching them.Seeing them, he shook his head and smiled bitterly. He was sure the latter heard this and could only hope he was not annoyed."Dr. Aiden," Scott called quickly, hoping Julius would stop his arrogant remark.Well, that didn't work as Julius stepped forward

  • Scott's Call

(The Next Day)The sound of a phone ringing forced Aiden to open his eyes, interrupting his Cultivation. He had been cultivating all night and had made quite a progress. He was now at the middle-stage Golden Core Realm, which was all thanks to the Qi-gathering Array he had set up.It was quite helpful, so Aiden was happy.Glancing at the Caller's ID, he realized it was Dominic."Good morning, sir," Dominic's harsh voice came from the other end of the phone the moment Aiden answered the call."Morning, old man, how are you doing?""I'm fine, sir," Dominic answered then continued,"Sir, we have quite a few orders from some retailers and wholesalers," Dominic reported, stating the real purpose he had called. There was no need to talk about other things. He knew Aiden didn't like wasting time on stuff like that and just went straight to the point."How many boxes?" Aiden asked after a while,"They requested thirty boxes each.""That's quite a lot," Aiden muttered, taken aback with the qua
