"Host now has a company." The mechanical voice came again and Aiden couldn't help but breathe in a sigh of relief.

He didn't know he was going to be able to tell the System that the company was given to him.

But it seemed like that was none of the System's problem, and it just counted it directly.

"Host has received ten million dollars and a skill." The mechanical voice sounded again and the next moment, Aiden's phone beeped.

Checking, he saw the alert of the ten million and couldn't help but smile.

"Skill would be uploaded into the host memory." The mechanical voice came again, and the next moment, a light screen appeared in front of Aiden reading.

"Skill uploading...."

In front of it was a percentage bar which read 2% out of a hundred.

Soon, the percentage bar got to a hundred and the mechanical voice sounded.

"Skill uploaded."

Aiden felt a warm stream of energy flow into his head. Instantly, information poured in like a flowing stream.

After a while, the stream of information stopped and Aiden had his mouth open. Even an egg could fit in at this moment.

"Sir, what's wrong?" Dominic's concerned voice came, pulling Aiden out of his thoughts.

"Nothing.." Aiden shook his head, a smile playing out on his lips.

At the moment, he could be said to be the best food expert in the world.

What the system had given him was the process and formula for different kinds of food and snacks.

Some of them even had healing properties. Some could cure certain levels of diseases and many others.

The formula was so much that if he was to sit and begin to write It down, he was not going to finish writing all of the formula even if he was to spend the entire day on it.

There were even some that he was sure wouldn't be able to find the ingredients easily. It would most likely cost a fortune.

Well, this was good, there was no need to panic. With the ten million the System had given him and the remaining money from the last mission, he was sure that he would be able to do something reasonable.

"I don't think this place is the right place to talk; let's head in," Dominic suggested, and Aiden agreed.

He couldn't wait to try out the formulas and see what was going to happen.

"Sir, who's that?" A feminine voice sounded just as they stepped into the company.

"You can address him as Mr. Aiden, he's the new owner of the company." Dominic smiled, introducing Aiden to the lady who was sitting at the desk.

"New owner?" The lady looked at Dominic and then at Aiden. The disbelief in her eyes was well written and she looked like she was about to tell Dominic that he was lying.

"Anyways, you'll get to know him better later, there's a lot we need to do." Dominic chuckled, seeing that the lady was unable to snap out of her shock.

"That's the receptionist of the company," Dominic stated as he walked into his office.

"But I thought you said that you laid off all the workers?" Aiden was stunned and looked at Dominic.

He had thought that maybe she was someone related to him or so. But hearing that she was the company's receptionist, he couldn't hide his amazement.

"Well, when I was laying off the others and compensating them after the incident. She was the only one that refused to leave, saying it was until I sold it off before she would quit completely." Dominic chuckled, sounding rather helpless.

"If that's the case, are you paying her?" Aiden narrowed his brows.

"Nope, I've not been paying her and she never for once asked me to pay." Dominic shook his head, gratitude all over his voice.

"Tell her I would like her to be my assistant." Aiden thought for a while and then said before collapsing on the sofa.

"Huh?" Dominic was stunned as he couldn't believe his ears.

"But..."

"You don't have to worry. I can see the reason why she chose to stay," Aiden waved his hands, interrupting Dominic.

"If it was not for her, then this place wouldn't be as clean as this. Or would I say, she's now a cleaner and is working for free."

Dominic nodded hearing what Aiden said. Though the lady was not able to keep all of the company clean, she was able to make the first floor, which he had turned into his office, clean.

He had in mind to look for a way to repay her, but he wasn't expecting Aiden to say she should be his assistant.

Though he wasn't sure if Aiden was a second rich generation or not, from the way the latter was, he was not like the others he had met.

But he was sure of one thing. Her life was about to become better and that was a good thing

"Old man, you're zoning out, that's not what we need to discuss." Aiden's chuckle sounded as he snapped his fingers, bringing back Dominic to his senses.

"Sorry about that." Dominic forced a smile and looked at Aiden wondering what he wanted to say.

He still wasn't sure how the latter wanted to do it. He knew the ones who were responsible for the downfall of his company, but he was too powerless to do anything to them.

Also, he had deliberately kept it from Aiden and yet he didn't ask about it.

Even if he had asked, there was no way he was going to tell him. If he was going to tell Aiden, then at least, he wanted to see a chance of success in fighting back should they be attacked again.

But that was going too far; how were they going to be able to get court approval to reopen the company?

"What are the things we need if we want to bring the company back into business?" Aiden's voice tore through the thick silence, pulling out Dominic of his thoughts.

Isn't it a bit too early?" Aiden chuckled, staring at Elsa."Ain't I your personal assistant. Why can't I come anymore?" Elsa scoffed, rolling her eyes at Aiden."You're done with your work?" Aiden asked, feeling rather shocked.Wasn't this lady a little bit too efficient? He estimated it was supposed to take her about two to three days and was not expecting to see her till then."Well, I'm not as lazy as you are, so it's nothing much," Elsa pouted before standing by Aiden's side."The first batch of flour has been delivered to Snack Shack," Elsa reported, her tone finally becoming serious."With the last batch of raw materials remaining at the factory and the already made bags of flo

The dragon Eater, after a lot of work, pushed him to the late stage of the Core Formation Realm. With just a few more pushes, he would become a Golden Core formation realm expert. But there was no way he would break through that easily. Besides, a solid foundation was the best and that was what Aiden was planning to do.He was not in a rush to break through. He would continue to suppress the feeling until he couldn't hold it back anymore. As for the dragon Eater, he needed to get more of it. Seemed like he was going to need to ask Scott how he got the poison.Since they were able to put such a large amount in

"He...he had been poisoned..." Scarlett stuttered, her eyes still filled with tears."Poisoned?" Aiden frowned slightly, not believing his ears.Though he didn't intentionally check Scott's body when they met, he should have been able to tell he was poisoned the moment he laid his eyes on him."Yes," Scarlett nodded, looking over at Scott who was still lying on the sofa, snoring lightly."I see," Aiden muttered and didn't say anything else.Though he was tempted to ask how Scott was poisoned, he held back from asking. Since Scarlett didn't tell him, there was no need to poke his nose into what was none of his business."Dr. Aiden," Scarlett called, breaking the silence, pulling Aiden back to his senses."Can you treat him?" She asked slowly, still staring at Aiden, hope written all over her face."Well..."
