He became the husband who cooked dinner every single night. When Susan suffered from severe stomach ulcers due to her stressful job, Michael spent hours researching, buying rare herbs, and cooking specialized therapeutic meals to ease her pain. He had given up his dreams, his ambition, and his status—all to be her supportive background husband.

And this was his reward. A DNA test proving he was a cuckold.

"What a joke," Michael whispered to the empty room, tears burning in his eyes. "What an absolute joke."

For two full days, Michael didn't leave the hotel room. He ordered room service, stared at the ceiling, and drafted the final divorce papers.

On the night of the second day, the electronic lock on his room door suddenly beeped. The door was slammed open, banging loudly against the wall.

Susan stood in the doorway, her coat draped over her shoulders, her eyes flashing with pure fury.

"So this is where you've been hiding!" Susan snapped, striding into the room and slamming the door behind her. "You haven't been home for two days, Michael! You turned off your location! Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is for me to have to track down my own husband?!"

Michael didn't move from his chair near the window. He looked up at her, his eyes cold and lifeless. "How did you find me?"

"I own half the luxury hotels in this district, Michael, don't be stupid," Susan sneered. She looked around the room, eyeing the half-eaten trays of room service and Michael’s wrinkled shirt. She let out a cruel, mocking laugh.

"Look at you," she said, her voice dripping with disgust. "Look how pathetic you are. Hiding out in a hotel room like a whipped dog, throwing a temper tantrum because things didn't go your way. Are you done throwing your little pity party?"

Michael felt a spark of white-hot rage ignite in his chest. He stood up slowly, a cold, sarcastic smile spreading across his face.

"Pathetic?" Michael echoed, reaching over to the desk and grabbing a stack of printed papers. "Yeah, I guess I am pathetic, Susan. I was pathetic enough to spend five years loving a woman who played me for a fool."

He walked over and shoved the stack of papers against her chest.

"Sign them," Michael said flatly. "We're going to the family court tomorrow morning."

Susan caught the papers, her eyes dropping to the title printed across the top page: MUTUAL DIVORCE AGREEMENT.

She couldn’t catch her breath. The mocking expression on her face vanished instantly, replaced by utter shock.

"Divorce?" Susan gasped, looking from the paper back up to his eyes. "You're... you're actually serious about this? Michael, I came here to give you a chance to come home! I came here to let you apologize and put this crazy drama behind us!"

"Apologize?" Michael scoffed, laughing bitterly. "Apologize for what, Susan? For finding out that one of my twins belongs to another man?!"

"Stop saying that!" Susan yelled, her face flushing red with anger.

"Why shouldn't I say it?!" Michael roared, stepping right up to her, his voice shaking the entire room. "Tell me, Susan! Did you enjoy it? Did you sit back and get a thrill out of watching me slave away in the kitchen, making you meals, taking care of the kids, while you sat there feeling smug about how easily you fooled the idiot doctor?!"

"Shut up!" Susan screamed back, throwing her purse onto the bed. "I never cheated on you! Do you hear me?! I have NEVER been with another man! Both Leo and Maya are your biological children! Stop talking this utter nonsense!"

"Stop lying!" Michael bellowed, slamming his fist onto the desk with a deafening CRACK. "I am a medical professional! I ran the DNA tests multiple times! The biology doesn't lie, Susan! Just give me the truth! Give me the damn truth for once in your life!"

"THAT IS THE TRUTH!" Susan shrieked, her voice breaking as tears of pure rage filled her eyes. "I never betrayed you! I swore my vows to you, and I kept them! I don't care what some stupid piece of paper says, I have NEVER slept with anyone else!"

"You're unbelievable," Michael whispered, shaking his head in absolute disgust. "Even when you're caught, you just double down on the lies." He pointed at the documents in her trembling hands. "Look at the papers, Susan. Just sign them so we can end this nightmare."

Susan glared at him, her chest heaving as she flipped through the pages of the divorce agreement. But as her eyes reached the financial settlement section on page three, she froze.

Her jaw dropped, and her head snapped back up to stare at him.

"One billion?" Susan shouted, her voice rising in disbelief. "You're asking for a one billion dollar settlement?!"

But before I get there, you need to soften him up!"On the other end of the line, Margaret stood outside the hotel doors, pulling her coat tight around her shoulders. She hesitated, her eyes narrowing as a cold calculation crossed her mind."Susan, if he continues to be this stubborn, can I use special means?" Margaret asked quietly. "Legal pressure, financial threats... whatever it takes to break his resolve?"There was a brief pause on the line. Susan’s knuckles turned white around her phone."Do it," Susan whispered bitterly. "Threaten him, squeeze him... just make sure he doesn't sign those court papers
