FEDERICK'S POV

I continued my investigation, determined to find evidence of the accident that night. I scoured the area, checking every possible location that might have had a CCTV camera facing the street. I had gone through every stret looking at the CCTV footage.

I knew there had to be something that I was missing.

“The police said there was no footage available that night. Impossible,” I muttered to myself as I walked, scanning the buildings.

The street was long, lined with shops, each with its own security system. There was no way there wasn’t a single recording of the car that hit Georgia.

I entered a shop where I had spotted a CCTV camera, hoping to check their footage. But I walked out minutes later, accompanied by one of the assistants.

“I’m sorry, sir, but as you saw inside, there’s nothing more to find here. My boss is going to have me sacked if you are caught right inside the building."

“But—”

Before I could say more, the door shut in my face.

I let out a frustrated sigh. This wasn’t the first time.

Six times now, I had gone into different buildings, hoping to find something, anything, only to leave empty-handed. One place claimed their cameras were broken. Another insisted their footage didn’t capture Damain's car. While some didn't even allow me in.

I get frustrated and disheartened. I knew I had to do this for her, to show that I really cared but so far, I was hitting dead ends.

“Ah!,” I let out a sigh of frustration, shaking my head. “How is it possible that every single camera failed to record anything? Even cafe Restaurant’s?”

I stopped in my tracks, deep in thought. “A restaurant that big, with multiple floors, and not a single recording? No way.”

My gaze drifted to the restaurant where Georgia and I had eaten that night. My eyes locked onto a CCTV camera near the entrance, and my chest tightened. From its position, there was no way it hadn’t captured the accident. That should be it, the camera should have definetly captured, Damian's car.

“In the camera’s blind spot?” I scoffed. “What a load of nonsense.”

With renewed determination, I strode inside and approached a familiar face.

“I need to see the manager. This is very urgent for me." I said with a tone of pleading

Liza, the waiter who had assisted me before, looked up, exhaling in exasperation.

“You again, sir?” her voice was weary. “Still looking for the footage? I think I told you that."

“Can you please don't turn me away. I need to have a look one more time.”

She sighed. “Sir, you’ve played the same footage in front of me almost like how many times now? Checking it again won’t change it's original content."

I narrowed my eyes at her. “Are you trying to stop me?”

Liza chuckled. “Don’t be so sensitive. I understand your frustration. But like I said before, nothing will change. Do you want me to tell you the truth?"

"The camera didn't capture anything. You are mistaken." She said again when she noticed I didn't say a word.

I studied her for a moment before he shrugged and gestured toward the back.

“If you really think I’m hiding something, let’s go to the monitoring room. You can check as many times as you want.”

We walked into the monitoring room, and I sat through the footage again. I had to replay the footage all over again as I tried to see what I had missed. The accident still wasn’t there.

Liza leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. “Find what you were looking for?”

I clenched my jaw. Then I asked, “If the accident was in the camera’s blind spot, then why did I see a camera facing directly at the scene?”

Liza barely blinked. “That camera wasn’t set up like that before, sir.”

My pulse quickened. “What do you mean?”

She remained calm. “Before the accident, it was positioned toward the parking lot. Security reasons—you understand, right? The parking lot is vulnerable to theft. But after the accident, we thought it’d be better to reposition it. In case something like this happens again.”

I stared at her, my fingers twitching at my sides.

“We weren’t trying to hide anything,” he added, his voice carrying genuine regret. “We just… failed to help you.”

My shoulders slumped. Maybe I had misjudged them.

Liza patted my shoulder before walking away. “I hope you find what you’re looking for.”

I left the restaurant feeling drained. Where else could I look? I had nothing. No proof, no lead, no direction.

I walked aimlessly down the sidewalk, too lost in thought to notice someone coming toward me. Our shoulders bumped, and I immediately turned to apologize.

But then—

“Federick?”

I froze. My gaze snapped up to meet familiar eyes.

“Marcus?”

A wide grin spread across his face. “Yeah, it’s me. Do you remember?”

“Of course, I remember.” A rare smile pulled at my lips. “You’re the guy who saved my life.”

We exchanged a firm handshake, an unexpected warmth filling my chest.

Marcus looked me up and down, smirking. “Looks like someone’s been to a salon.”

I chuckled. “Just trying to look more… presentable.”

He laughed. “You’re not working at that chicken restaurant anymore, are you? I noticed a new delivery guy has taken your place."

I shook my head. “I quit. I’m focusing on my studies now.”

“Good choice.” He nodded approvingly. “Education is the key to a better life.”

We stood in silence for a moment before Darius casually asked, “Hey, wasn’t there an accident right here a week ago?”

My entire body tensed.

“What did you just say?”

Marcus frowned. “Didn’t you hear? A girl was hit by a luxury car right outside this restaurant. It was all over the news.”

My throat went dry.

Marcus continued, oblivious to my reaction. “I even have footage of the suspect’s car at my gym.” he said and my face lit up with joy.

Dully's POV I could see the rage in his eyes. The anger, and I knew it wasn't Damain anymore. The system was slowly taking hold of him. This was bigger than I had thought. Even the school authorities cannot do anything to stop him or any of us now. It was left to me and Fred to make sure Damian stopped. But the question I kept asking myself was, what do I need to do to stop him? Was killing him the only way? The dean looked at both of us and laughed. "You know, your father never told me you were a twin, Damian." Was this the plan all along? To make you both disrupt the school's progress? Ever since you got in here, it has been one problem upon another." "And you collected our money. He made it worthwhile for you, didn't he?" "Damian said, flashing a set of white teeth at the Dean. "You can either let us go, or I am going to do far more than we did across the field." "Is that a threat, little boy?" The dean said in anger. Damian stood up gently, his gaze locked on the dean, who

"Did you see that?" "How is that even possible?" "Is this even real?" "I saw him push waves back at him." "What the hell is going on with those two?" Are they even real?" Dully cleaned the blood on his lips with the back of his hand. "Do you think you can win?" You think you can hide under the dark system for long?" he said breathlessly. "And you, brother, why are you doing this?" We don't have to be enemies. Fred is our enemy. He is the one trying to come between us." Damian said, gasping for breath. Damian's eyes turned towards me, and I could see the venom in them. "No, he is the only reason I am standing here alive, and if you think I am going to turn on him, then you are a fool!" Dully shouted angrily. I looked at the both of them, and then I realized that maybe I don't even have to lift a finger to take Damain down. Maybe all I had to do was pitch them against each other and let Dully kick his ass. They were about to clash again when I saw the school authorities coming.

FEDERICK'S POV I knew Dully was my jackpot. I was not sure if it was going to be a surprise to Damain but I definitely knew the studies were going to be hit to the core. " Wait?" " What the hell just happened?" " Are they twin?" One of the students said out loud. " I can't believe this. They look almost identical." Another said " That is because they are a twin dummy." Damian looled at me and back at Dully who was walking into the feild majestically. " I am sure you must be delighted to rekindled old love with your brother." I said with sacarcsm. " Do you think I was going to challenge you without a backup plan? Do you think I am going to say yes to all your demands?" " I saw him died." Damain said frantically. I knew he was stunned but not too surprised. " Do you think you can take on your brother, Damian?" I said with a smirk on my face. " How come? I saw you die." Damain said walking to meet Dulky across the field. Georgia rushed towards me clinging me

FEDERICK'S POV The wind shifted slightly as Damian stared me down, his cronies poised like hounds waiting for a whistle. Ethan smirked, his arms crossed, while Aiden and Axel stood stiff, clearly itching for violence. But it was Georgia’s hand that I felt trembling behind me; her face was visibly showing that she was scared and anxious of what was going to happen next. I had to stall.Fighting Damian right inside the school was going to be a stupid move. “I’m not giving you anything, Damian,” I said, my voice steady. “You should know by now—I don’t make deals with snakes. And like I said, I am not going to be involved in trying to take down anyone or anything. If you want to go on a suicide mission, then you do it yourself and leave me the hell out of it." His eyes darkened, the smirk sliding from his face like a curtain drawn before the storm.“Wrong choice,” he said coldly. He snapped his fingers.I braced myself, expecting an ambush. But instead, something worse happened—Georg

Federick's POV Revenge. Hatred. Blood. Everything was getting to me at once, and Damain was at the center of it all. The thought of getting to see Georgia's father never crossed my mind. Taking down the dark system was the only thing on my mind, and of course, I now had Dully by my side. I was seated under the sycamore tree when I looked up to see Georgia walking towards me. A smile was visibly plastered over my face. I haven't seen her in days. "Don't you miss me?" She said playfully as she kissed me softly on the lips. "And why would you say that?" I said, smiling. "You tell me." No calls, no text messages, and you really miss me?" Georgia said, stealing a quick glance at me. "I am sorry about that, but there was something I needed to take care of." "Damian, right?" Georgia asked, and I nodded. I looked at her, and for a moment I pondered if I should talk to her about the system or not. "You look like you have something on your mind." Care to share?"
