FEDERICK'S POV
I continued my investigation, determined to find evidence of the accident that night. I scoured the area, checking every possible location that might have had a CCTV camera facing the street. I had gone through every stret looking at the CCTV footage. I knew there had to be something that I was missing. “The police said there was no footage available that night. Impossible,” I muttered to myself as I walked, scanning the buildings. The street was long, lined with shops, each with its own security system. There was no way there wasn’t a single recording of the car that hit Georgia. I entered a shop where I had spotted a CCTV camera, hoping to check their footage. But I walked out minutes later, accompanied by one of the assistants. “I’m sorry, sir, but as you saw inside, there’s nothing more to find here. My boss is going to have me sacked if you are caught right inside the building." “But—” Before I could say more, the door shut in my face. I let out a frustrated sigh. This wasn’t the first time. Six times now, I had gone into different buildings, hoping to find something, anything, only to leave empty-handed. One place claimed their cameras were broken. Another insisted their footage didn’t capture Damain's car. While some didn't even allow me in. I get frustrated and disheartened. I knew I had to do this for her, to show that I really cared but so far, I was hitting dead ends. “Ah!,” I let out a sigh of frustration, shaking my head. “How is it possible that every single camera failed to record anything? Even cafe Restaurant’s?” I stopped in my tracks, deep in thought. “A restaurant that big, with multiple floors, and not a single recording? No way.” My gaze drifted to the restaurant where Georgia and I had eaten that night. My eyes locked onto a CCTV camera near the entrance, and my chest tightened. From its position, there was no way it hadn’t captured the accident. That should be it, the camera should have definetly captured, Damian's car. “In the camera’s blind spot?” I scoffed. “What a load of nonsense.” With renewed determination, I strode inside and approached a familiar face. “I need to see the manager. This is very urgent for me." I said with a tone of pleading Liza, the waiter who had assisted me before, looked up, exhaling in exasperation. “You again, sir?” her voice was weary. “Still looking for the footage? I think I told you that." “Can you please don't turn me away. I need to have a look one more time.” She sighed. “Sir, you’ve played the same footage in front of me almost like how many times now? Checking it again won’t change it's original content." I narrowed my eyes at her. “Are you trying to stop me?” Liza chuckled. “Don’t be so sensitive. I understand your frustration. But like I said before, nothing will change. Do you want me to tell you the truth?" "The camera didn't capture anything. You are mistaken." She said again when she noticed I didn't say a word. I studied her for a moment before he shrugged and gestured toward the back. “If you really think I’m hiding something, let’s go to the monitoring room. You can check as many times as you want.” We walked into the monitoring room, and I sat through the footage again. I had to replay the footage all over again as I tried to see what I had missed. The accident still wasn’t there. Liza leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. “Find what you were looking for?” I clenched my jaw. Then I asked, “If the accident was in the camera’s blind spot, then why did I see a camera facing directly at the scene?” Liza barely blinked. “That camera wasn’t set up like that before, sir.” My pulse quickened. “What do you mean?” She remained calm. “Before the accident, it was positioned toward the parking lot. Security reasons—you understand, right? The parking lot is vulnerable to theft. But after the accident, we thought it’d be better to reposition it. In case something like this happens again.” I stared at her, my fingers twitching at my sides. “We weren’t trying to hide anything,” he added, his voice carrying genuine regret. “We just… failed to help you.” My shoulders slumped. Maybe I had misjudged them. Liza patted my shoulder before walking away. “I hope you find what you’re looking for.” I left the restaurant feeling drained. Where else could I look? I had nothing. No proof, no lead, no direction. I walked aimlessly down the sidewalk, too lost in thought to notice someone coming toward me. Our shoulders bumped, and I immediately turned to apologize. But then— “Federick?” I froze. My gaze snapped up to meet familiar eyes. “Marcus?” A wide grin spread across his face. “Yeah, it’s me. Do you remember?” “Of course, I remember.” A rare smile pulled at my lips. “You’re the guy who saved my life.” We exchanged a firm handshake, an unexpected warmth filling my chest. Marcus looked me up and down, smirking. “Looks like someone’s been to a salon.” I chuckled. “Just trying to look more… presentable.” He laughed. “You’re not working at that chicken restaurant anymore, are you? I noticed a new delivery guy has taken your place." I shook my head. “I quit. I’m focusing on my studies now.” “Good choice.” He nodded approvingly. “Education is the key to a better life.” We stood in silence for a moment before Darius casually asked, “Hey, wasn’t there an accident right here a week ago?” My entire body tensed. “What did you just say?” Marcus frowned. “Didn’t you hear? A girl was hit by a luxury car right outside this restaurant. It was all over the news.” My throat went dry. Marcus continued, oblivious to my reaction. “I even have footage of the suspect’s car at my gym.” he said and my face lit up with joy.

I looked at everyome in the room. " Why are we waiting? Why don't we just get on with it now and get it over with?" I looked at myself standing before me. " So what exactly are you saying?" I looked at him. " Do you understand what I am saying?" Dully looked at the future me. " I understand what you mean, Dully. Damian's POV (The Future)My voice thundered through the small underground chamber as I stepped closer to my younger self, who stared at me like I had grown horns."You fool!" I barked again, fury tightening every muscle in my jaw. "Do you think this is a game? Look at me! Look at your future!"The younger version of me took a hesitant step back, confusion and skepticism dancing across his face. “Who the hell are you? Is this some kind of trick?”"What do I need to do to make you believe me?" I snapped, placing both hands on my hips. "I am you. From the future. And I’m here to stop Fred from becoming our greatest rival.”His eyebrows furrowed deeply. “What do you mean we? And why should I believe anything you’re saying? Dully pov Ariadne stood in the doorway, her auburn hair pulled into a messy bun, a shotgun pointed directly at my chest. I could see that she had been expecting us and I can't care but think if the future Damain has gotten to her also. “Well, well,” she muttered, eyes narrowing. “Took you long enough to crawl back.” I raised my hands instinctively, my heart thudding so loud it echoed in my ears. “Ariadne, please—” “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t put a hole through your ribcage,” she snapped, her voice like cold steel. “The last time I saw you, you vanished into thin air and left me to clean up your mess.” I knew what she was talking about. That was the past me. The past me must have don't something I don't know but I need to pay along. I was about to talk when future Fred stepped up beside me, calm as ever. “Because we need your help. And we don’t have time to unpack your relationship drama.” he said immediately trying to curb the fire that was about to spread.

Dully's pov My gaze locked with Fred. The future Fred not sure if what to say. " I came with the future Fred." I said back at him. " Yeah, I know and I can see that. Can you tell me why you are having his face?" The old Fred asked staring at me. My gaze landed back on his past self. " Okay, here it is. I am Damain's twin brother." I said waiting for his reaction but I got none. " Ain't you suppose to be surprised?" I asked staring at him. " Surprises? Why?" Fred asked staring at us. The room was about tensed as we all looked at him and wondered why he wasn't. I for one was anticipating the part where he comes rushing at me or the part where he was going to have me slapped but to my surprise, he did none of that. I looked at the future Fred and he nodded. " No one knows I existed except for my brother. I help him with most of his brutal ways of dealing with you lots." I said again and old Fred didn't blink. " Why is all of this not coming as a surprise for you?" I

Rich, handsome and he smelt of wealth. Was is this madness? "Who are you?" I looked at the new looking flashy me. " You should see it in a bit. You were almost killed but I saved you." Fred said looking at me. " See what? What are you doing?" I asked again. I still don't understand any of this madness. " Why don't you explain to him?" Axle looked at Fred. " Explain what?" I said anxiously. " Why don't we start by telling you that we came from the future, Fred." The future me said staring at me face and I almost collapsed. This was impossible. The future? What the hell. " What are you trying to tell me? That you came through a space machine or what?" " Not space machine. The system brought us back to make sure I save you before Damain kills you. He is going to try and make sure that you cannot bond
