FEDERICK'S POV
Austin University—one of the most prestigious universities in Orleans City. Getting in was a dream for many, and I had managed to secure a spot, not because of wealth or connections like most students here, but through sheer intelligence and hard work. But even with that, I was nothing special. I was an orphan. Poor. Looked down upon. To support myself, I worked part-time jobs, barely managing to get by. It was exhausting, but I never complained. This was my life, and I had accepted it. "Thank you," I said as I handed over the delivery order to the customer. "No problem. Are you new here?" "Yes, sir. I've only been working at Felix Restaurant for a week." "What's your name?" "Frederick." "Okay, Fred. Get used to the atmosphere here. Gym customers usually order food from your place." the man said with a big smile on his face. "Yes, sir." I smiled as the tall, fit man walked away. He seemed to be the owner of the gym—kind and friendly. It was rare for people to treat me well, and I appreciated every single one who did. Most people only saw me as the poor orphan who didn’t belong here. He was about to leave when he turned slowly to look at me, " Here is something for you." I smiled sheepishly as I collected the new dollar bill from him. " Thank you." I said smiling I stepped out of the gym, ready for my next delivery, but then I heard a familiar voice. My feet stopped abruptly, I turned, my eyes locking onto a woman walking beside a young man I also recognized. Mandy? I squinted, trying to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. I rubbed my two eyes and I knew I was not imagining things. She was the one and she wasn't alone. Damian. The most popular guy and rich guy on campus. A sick feeling twisted in my gut, but I tried to shake it off. Maybe it wasn’t what it looked like. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding. But then what I saw made my face turn pale. Their lips met in a brief kiss, and I felt my entire world torn apart. The way they looked at each other told me everything. The feelings in their eyes… those weren’t new. This wasn’t a mistake. This wasn’t the first time. "Mandy?" My voice croaked as I called out to her. She turned sharply, her expression devoid of any emotion or guilt. She was not ashamed. "Fred? What are you doing here? shouldn't you be out there delivering whatever garbage it is that you do?" I forced myself to keep standing, even as my knees felt weak. "I was working and saw you here, but… you came in with Darmian and… kissed him?" My voice was barely above a whisper, but Mandy still heard me. She looked at Darmian before turning back to me, completely unfazed. "Yes, I kissed him. Are you stalking me now?" I was dazed, the fact that she was not denying kissing Damian even made me more angry. The casual way she said it felt like a slap. "But why?" My voice rose in disbelief. "You're my girlfriend, Mandy!" "Yes, and then?" "And then?" I repeated, my head spinning. "Are you allowed to kiss other guys while you're in a relationship?" "Why not?" she shot back, folding her arms. "Did I sign a contract saying I couldn't?" My breath caught in my throat. "Mandy… what are you saying?" She sighed, as if she had been waiting for this. "Fred, I’ve been wanting to tell you this for a long time. Let's break up." My heart stopped. "What? You said you loved me,Mandy. What ever I have done, we. ant settle things. We don't have too.." "Didn’t you hear me?" She smirked. "We’re breaking up. I like Darmian, and I want to be with him." "But why?" My voice cracked. "We were fine yesterday. Why do you suddenly—" "You were the only one who thought we were fine." Mandy's voice turned sharp. Cold. "Do you even know what it’s like being your girlfriend for seven months? It’s suffocating!" I felt like the ground beneath me was crumbling. "Mandy… I don’t understand." "You know who you are, right?" She scoffed. "You only got into Austin because of pity. You could even barely afford the tuition fees not to mention the textbooks." The words were shocking but I managed to hang on. She was the girl that I love and I don't mind her talking down at me. I clenched my fists. "I got in on a scholarship! I worked my ass off for it!" I said not wanting to back down. She rolled her eyes. "In the end, a scholarship is just a nicer word for charity. Get over it, Fred. Realize who you are. You don't deserve me!" My heart ached, but I loved her too much to let go so easily. "What do you even like about Darmian?" I asked desperately. Mandy let out a laugh, one that sent ice through my veins. "Do you realize what you're asking?" "Darmain is popular, he's a quarterback, sure. But he’s also a playboy! He'll never be loyal to you like I am!" "Loyalty?" She laughed louder. "F*ck loyalty. I want to date someone handsome, rich, and popular. You don’t even check one of those boxes!" I felt a lump rise in my throat as I saw Darmain smirking at me. I reached for Mandy's hand, desperate. "Mandy, you can't do this to me. I love you. I would do anything for you. I—I'll be rich! I’ll be popular! I—" "Haha!" Mandy threw her head back in laughter. "Fred, you can barely afford your next meal, and you're talking about being rich?" She shook her head mockingly. "You’re dreaming too high. That’s not healthy, you know." I stood frozen, unable to process what was happening. Then she dropped the final bomb. "Oh, by the way," she added casually, "I only dated you because of a bet." My stomach twisted. "W-what?" "I was supposed to date you for just a month, but I ended up keeping you around for seven." Her smile was wicked. "You were fun to watch—like a pathetic little dog begging for affection." Darmian chuckled beside her, his arm wrapping around her waist. Something inside me snapped. I lunged forward and grabbed Mandy's hand. "No. I won’t let you go, Mandy. Even if I die!" "Then die!" Before I could react, Darmian yanked me off her and landed a solid punch to my face. I staggered back, pain exploding in my cheek. "Stop bothering my girl, you loser," Darmian sneered. "She's my girlfriend!" I shouted, pushing myself up and swinging back, but Darmian was too fast. He dodged easily, smirking as he sent another punch straight to my nose. Blood spilled down my lips. "Was that not enough?" he taunted. "Then take this!" His fists crashed into me over and over. I could barely stand. "Hey, stop!" someone shouted. The gym owner was rushing over, but Darmian didn't stop. One final punch slammed into my gut, and I stumbled back, my body slamming against the metal lat pulldown machine. Pain shot through my head. My vision blurred. Voices faded in and out. "Hey, is that blood?" "Sh*t, call an ambulance!" I blinked through the dizziness, my gaze landing on Mandy. She was hugging Darmian tightly, shielding him as if he were the victim. Even as I lay there, on the verge of death—she was still protecting him. My vision blurred for a moment and I fainted.Expand

FEDERICK REVENGE MILLIONAIRE SYSTEM chapter one hundred and seventy four
Federick’s POV My breath caught in my throat as Dully’s words echoed through the room. The silence that followed wasn’t just tense—it was suffocating. Axle looked between us, eyes narrowed, fists clenched like he was ready to bolt, to fight, to do something—anything to keep his mind from spiraling."What if we’re playing into its hands?" I repeated under my breath. The thought had never crossed my mind. I was so obsessed with saving Damian, so focused on the flicker of humanity I saw in that vision, that I forgot the most dangerous systems don’t operate with brute force. They manipulate. They set traps. They lure you in with hope.Axle stepped forward, voice hard. “Then what do you suggest? We sit here and do nothing while that thing uses Damian like a puppet?”“No,” Dully said, calmer now, but still cold. “I’m saying we need to consider every possibility. We go in thinking this is a rescue mission, we might walk right into a kill box. Or worse—we might unleash something far greater

FEDERICK REVENGE MILLIONAIRE SYSTEM chapter one hundred and seventy three
Federick povAxle stepped back slowly with his gaze fixed on me. " Who is that?" I called out slowly. If you are having a power, you aint suppose to be sacred but I was. I knew the system within me was not strong enough to beat Damain. " Open the door, Fred!" Dully shouted with a loud voice. I rushed to have the door opened and he walked in. " Did you see the news?" Dully asked staring at me. " That bastard killed my father. I swear to god I am going to end him!" Dully said with vermin in his voice. I looked at Dully and still didn't understand why he was angry. Here was a man who didn't care for him. Even went ahead to have him shot in the eyes. " Dully, you need to calm down and let's think this through." I said slowly trying to think. " Have you ever thought of Damian is actually capable of all this?" The room was laced with tension. " Are you saying he might not want too?" Axle asked, his gaze fixed on me. " Exactly. The system has a power of it own. We can't assume that

FEDERICK REVENGE MILLIONAIRE SYSTEM chapter one hundred and seventy two
FREDERICK'S POV I am not sure maybe the silent is actually a good thing. There was nothing to be worried about. No treat and my system was silent. I can't say the same for Dully. He hasn't reach out ever since the event that I was beginning to think he had a change of mind already. I was seated and having my breakfast when I heard a knock at my door. My eyebrows arched a bit before I walked towards it to have it opened. " I thought you left?" I said slowly letting him to enter. " Not after what I saw. Has he contacted you?" Axle asked staring at me. " Who?" I replied taking a seat. " What changed your mind?" " This." He replied sliding his phone towards me. I looked at him and still didn't believe it. " You mean his father is dead?" I said almost with disbelief. " That fuck must have killed his father. Do you think Dully is going to let this slide?" Axle asked I didn't say a word. I needed to get my fact straight. If Damian had killed his father then I need to know why. " I

FEDERICK REVENGE MILLIONAIRE SYSTEM chapter one hundred and seventy one
Damain's povI knew it was only a matter of time before the news of my father's death spread far and near. Most of the underground lords were going to fight over his seat like it was some kind of trophy. [ System voice ; You did it.]" I did nothing! You did everything. All of this is your fault!" I yelled with tears streaming down my face. I felt sharp pain at the back of my neck and fell to the ground. [ System voice ; You know the beauty of our bond, you can feel everything I am feeling and I can feel what you feel too. Do you think you can have real power without my help? You called me for me, you wanted my help. ]I got up robbing my face. " I don't want you help! I don't want anything from you." I said in anger. " You killed the only person that mattered in my life. [ System voice ; Killed? I helped you boy. You would have been crushed by Fred who wanted you to pay for your sins. But now that there is no attachment then we can destroy Fred. ]" You keep saying this like thi

I opened my eyes slowly. I could feel my heat beat rising fast. The pulse beneath my skin thudding so loud that I fear it was going to burst. [ System voice; Waky Waky. ] I shut my eyes still, dreading what I could see before my very eyes. [ System voice; Why don't you open those eyes now.] Still I had the shut. I remembered what I had done to my father's best fighters. I knew if I could have done something so inhumane to them then the thought of what I was going to have done to my father scared the hell out of me. [ System humming ][ System voice; You do know you are going to have to open those eyes. We need to see, Damian. You are not letting us see.] I stood up slowly trying to find my way, a path to the door but then I slipped on something cold. I landed on the ground with a great thud and I could feel my elbow hit the floor. [ crack! ] Pain shot through my arm as I clutched my elbow, biting down a scream. My breathing was ragged now, like I had run a hundred miles in o

FEDERICK REVENGE MILLIONAIRE SYSTEM chapter one hundred and seventy six
Damain’s POV Darkness. Then heat. I woke up to the scent of blood. The air tasted foul in my nose. My hands were covered in red—fresh, warm, and dripping. My body trembled as I staggered backward, heart pounding like a war drum inside my chest. I turned. Two bodies. Two men. Their eyes stared up at the ceiling, empty. Hollow. One of them had a broken neck; the other was still twitching, gasping, fighting for air that would never come. “No…” I whispered, backing into the wall. “No, no, no—” [System voice: Now that’s more like it.] “I didn’t do this!” I shouted. [System voice: Technically, you did. I just helped you feel less… conflicted.] I dropped to my knees, shaking. These were men I’d grown up watching. Warriors. Guardians of my home. My father trusted them with his life. And I had butchered them. Or rather, the system had, using me like a marionette. I looked around wildly. We were in the training room. The mats beneath their corpses soaked up the blood like a thirs
