I was stunned, completely dumbfounded by Marcu's' statement.
Without thinking, I grabbed his shoulder, my grip firm enough to startle him. "Are you serious?" I asked, my voice urgent. "Huh? What do you mean?" "You have footage of the car at your gym?" "Yes, I have it," he said, looking puzzled. "Isn't the footage near the scene enough to make the police find the car? This place is full of big shops—they must all have CCTV cameras installed, right?" he said looking at me but how do I tell him i have gone through the cafe without anything solid enough to nail Damian. Relief flooded through me so intensely that I felt like crying. After days of running in circles, searching for evidence, I had finally found a breakthrough. Marcus looked at me with concern. "Hey, what's going on? Why are you so emotional?" "Marcus, take me to your place," I demanded. " You might just be saving a life." I added Without wasting time, we got up and we were soon on our way to the gym house. ------------------------------------------------------- I never expected a coincidence like this to happen. I had been so focused on Georgia since that night that I hadn’t even realized Marcus’ gym was so close to the accident scene. The thought made my chest tighten. How had I missed this? Walking beside him, I explained everything—the hit-and-run, my search for evidence, and the frustration of being stonewalled at every turn. "I'm so sorry, Fred," Darius said, his voice heavy with sympathy. "I didn't know the accident happened to your girlfriend, let alone that you were with her that night." He hesitated before asking, "How is she now?" I exhaled a shaky breath. "She's paralyzed." "Oh God." "The doctors say the damage to her nerves is severe. They don’t think she’ll recover." Marcus cursed under his breath. "She could spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair, and yet the bastard who did this is still walking free? Damn it, Fred. How come you didn't know I was having my gym nearby?" I clenched my fists. "I feel awfully for what happend. That’s exactly why I need that footage." Marcus led me inside his gym, and despite everything, I couldn't help but chuckle. "Feels like my first time here," I muttered. He smiled grimly. "I never thought a casual comment from me would make you this grateful. I assumed there’d be plenty of security footage from the district. I figured the police would have everything they needed to find the guy. But now you're telling me they almost closed the case because there’s no evidence?" I scoffed bitterly. "Yeah. It's ridiculous. I don’t know how every single camera in the area suddenly 'failed' at the same time. It’s like someone went out of their way to erase all traces of that car." Marcus frowned. "Wait… you already know who did it?" "Yeah," I muttered, jaw tightening. "I even know why he did it." "Holy crap. So he planned this? Was this a revenge or something?" "People with money think they own the world. Fear doesn't matter when you're that powerful. Revenge, yes." Marcus led me to the security room. "Alright, let's take a look." I held my breath as he pulled up the footage. The moment the video started playing, my heart pounded. There it was—a luxury car stopping near the scene of the accident. But its pitch-black windows made it impossible to see the driver. "Is that really his car?" Marcus asked, watching my reaction. "Yeah. Witnesses said it was a Ferrari Spider," I confirmed. Marcus folded his arms. "A car that expensive? That narrows it down. But this town is filled with rich people, Fred. You sure it's him? This could be anyone. Alot of people cruise around in the night with this expensive cars." I laughed bitterly. "Rich people are the worst. They screw up, then use money to erase their mistakes." I replayed the footage again and again, trying to catch even the slightest glimpse of Damain's face. But the tinted windows were too dark. "It’s a shame," I muttered, frustration bubbling up. "If I could just see his face, I’d have everything I need to nail him." "Would a witness statement help?" Marcus asked suddenly. I snapped my head toward him. "What?" "One of my employees saw the driver's face that night," he explained. I shot up from my chair. "Are you serious?" "Yeah. She’s new here—her name’s Elena. She could have sworn she saw his face. The man who rammed over her." "Can I meet her?" "She doesn’t work nights, but she’ll be in tomorrow morning. I’ll let her know you’re coming." A wave of relief crashed over me, and without thinking, I grabbed Darius in a tight hug. "God, Marcus, you have no idea how much this means to me. I a sure with this evidence, I am going to be able to get the justice Georgia deserves." Marcus patted my back, then stepped away. "Don’t thank me yet. This is still a dangerous game you’re playing." "What do you mean?" I asked, my stomach twisting at his serious tone. "Think about it, Fred. If the guy you’re after is as rich as you say, then he probably paid off people to keep quiet. That’s why you kept hitting dead ends. The cameras didn’t 'fail'—someone made sure they didn’t capture anything useful. I would have advised to to let this go and forget all about it. But then she is your girlfriend. I know it is going to be hard to let go." I swallowed hard. I had suspected it, but hearing it from someone else made it feel even more real. "I tried to stay hopeful," I admitted. "I wanted to believe that someone would help me. That not everyone could be bought. I knew what I was getting myself into the moment the police are not cooperating. It was like they knew I was going to come knocking at their door." "Fuck them! And did you find anyone?" Marcus asked clenching his hands in anger. I shook my head. Marcus let out a slow breath. "Never hope for a miracle when you're up against people like him, Fred. They don’t just want to escape justice—they want to make sure you suffer. They’ll do whatever it takes to keep you powerless." His words sent a shiver down my spine. He was right. I couldn’t afford to play fair anymore. "You’re right, Marcus," I said, my voice steely with resolve. "I can’t rely on hope. If I want justice, I need to be ruthless. I done playing the nice guy here. If Damain wants war then I am going to give him one!"

Dully's POV I could see the rage in his eyes. The anger, and I knew it wasn't Damain anymore. The system was slowly taking hold of him. This was bigger than I had thought. Even the school authorities cannot do anything to stop him or any of us now. It was left to me and Fred to make sure Damian stopped. But the question I kept asking myself was, what do I need to do to stop him? Was killing him the only way? The dean looked at both of us and laughed. "You know, your father never told me you were a twin, Damian." Was this the plan all along? To make you both disrupt the school's progress? Ever since you got in here, it has been one problem upon another." "And you collected our money. He made it worthwhile for you, didn't he?" "Damian said, flashing a set of white teeth at the Dean. "You can either let us go, or I am going to do far more than we did across the field." "Is that a threat, little boy?" The dean said in anger. Damian stood up gently, his gaze locked on the dean, who

"Did you see that?" "How is that even possible?" "Is this even real?" "I saw him push waves back at him." "What the hell is going on with those two?" Are they even real?" Dully cleaned the blood on his lips with the back of his hand. "Do you think you can win?" You think you can hide under the dark system for long?" he said breathlessly. "And you, brother, why are you doing this?" We don't have to be enemies. Fred is our enemy. He is the one trying to come between us." Damian said, gasping for breath. Damian's eyes turned towards me, and I could see the venom in them. "No, he is the only reason I am standing here alive, and if you think I am going to turn on him, then you are a fool!" Dully shouted angrily. I looked at the both of them, and then I realized that maybe I don't even have to lift a finger to take Damain down. Maybe all I had to do was pitch them against each other and let Dully kick his ass. They were about to clash again when I saw the school authorities coming.

FEDERICK'S POV I knew Dully was my jackpot. I was not sure if it was going to be a surprise to Damain but I definitely knew the studies were going to be hit to the core. " Wait?" " What the hell just happened?" " Are they twin?" One of the students said out loud. " I can't believe this. They look almost identical." Another said " That is because they are a twin dummy." Damian looled at me and back at Dully who was walking into the feild majestically. " I am sure you must be delighted to rekindled old love with your brother." I said with sacarcsm. " Do you think I was going to challenge you without a backup plan? Do you think I am going to say yes to all your demands?" " I saw him died." Damain said frantically. I knew he was stunned but not too surprised. " Do you think you can take on your brother, Damian?" I said with a smirk on my face. " How come? I saw you die." Damain said walking to meet Dulky across the field. Georgia rushed towards me clinging me

FEDERICK'S POV The wind shifted slightly as Damian stared me down, his cronies poised like hounds waiting for a whistle. Ethan smirked, his arms crossed, while Aiden and Axel stood stiff, clearly itching for violence. But it was Georgia’s hand that I felt trembling behind me; her face was visibly showing that she was scared and anxious of what was going to happen next. I had to stall.Fighting Damian right inside the school was going to be a stupid move. “I’m not giving you anything, Damian,” I said, my voice steady. “You should know by now—I don’t make deals with snakes. And like I said, I am not going to be involved in trying to take down anyone or anything. If you want to go on a suicide mission, then you do it yourself and leave me the hell out of it." His eyes darkened, the smirk sliding from his face like a curtain drawn before the storm.“Wrong choice,” he said coldly. He snapped his fingers.I braced myself, expecting an ambush. But instead, something worse happened—Georg

Federick's POV Revenge. Hatred. Blood. Everything was getting to me at once, and Damain was at the center of it all. The thought of getting to see Georgia's father never crossed my mind. Taking down the dark system was the only thing on my mind, and of course, I now had Dully by my side. I was seated under the sycamore tree when I looked up to see Georgia walking towards me. A smile was visibly plastered over my face. I haven't seen her in days. "Don't you miss me?" She said playfully as she kissed me softly on the lips. "And why would you say that?" I said, smiling. "You tell me." No calls, no text messages, and you really miss me?" Georgia said, stealing a quick glance at me. "I am sorry about that, but there was something I needed to take care of." "Damian, right?" Georgia asked, and I nodded. I looked at her, and for a moment I pondered if I should talk to her about the system or not. "You look like you have something on your mind." Care to share?"

DULLY'S POVThe walls cracked beneath my fists, flakes of concrete falling like snow around my boots. The pain lanced through my knuckles, grounding me. I welcomed it. Needed it. Because in a few minutes, I would be stepping into a ring where hesitation meant death. It wasn't my first time though but talking to Fred made me realise I was a man without purpose. Now I had one.It was to take out Damain or still make him see the reason why he needed to stop the bizzare act and behaviour. I stood there in the locker room, the lights flickering above me like they were unsure whether to expose me or hide what I was becoming. My breath was steady, but something shifted inside me. A pull. A pulse. Like the system was stirring.I remembered Fred telling me I needed to bond with the system but is it now?I was a newbie to all of this but still I wanted to be like the both of two.
