Kane spun.

“Where is the manager of this place!!” His voice carried through the room as though the manager was watching in the midst of the onlookers. His tone was commanding, startling some people.

A little girl startled to his voice and her ice cream fell from her hand. She didn't look at the ice cream which pooled on the floor but at the face of the man, wondering who..what human..and what gene made up his system.

Terry laughed, shaking his head. He stepped closer to Kane and looked him from head to toe, taking in his embodiment.

He hummed, nodding his head with an amusing smile on his lips.

“Louis Vuitton... impressive.” He said as his eyes landed on his shoe.

He looked up, held the golden chain that catches the light around his neck.

He shook the chain gently, flaunting it. “Do you know how much this cost? Huh? You can't because this costs more than your entire miserable life. Twice!" He landed carelessly, voice loud like a speaker.

Some people gasped in surprise of his uncautious outbursts.

Some watched, amused as if the latest move was being displayed in a cinema.

“This is going to be interesting.” An old man holding a cane leaned, smiling.

“I'm going to watch this movie to the end. A movie without a hero yet. But...I think the guy with the big boot and gold chain..he's gonna kick his ass.” Another man said, swirling a wine gently in a glass cup.

Kane didn't respond to Terry. He allowed him carry on and Terry's mouth ran parrot's. He took Kane silence for defeat.

He jabbed his finger on his chest, the loosely clasped Wristwatch in his wrist dancing.

“Can't talk huh? You're lost for words or..your tongue dried?” He laughed.

“You just called the manger like he's going to run down here for a man....like you. You think draped in suits makes you Royal? Come off it Mr. Louis Vuitton.”

Terry didn't stop yet.

He continued, voice sharp and firm with taunting edge. And the people around? They laughed like this was the comedy of the century.

Phones raised in the air, light flashing from cameras. Some didn't just took a picture. Some were video coveraging it. It would make a good story on their timeline and wh*****pp status.

This was what Terry want. The attention. He loves the drive and it's driving him to say more..to mock the man standing before him. His attention had shifted from the lady and Kane was the prey now.

“Listen.. even our servants..they dress more good than this.. your appearance doesn't fit here.” He laughed again, clapping his hand amusingly.

“A hero in shining suit... fighting for a nobody...a mere staff of Neura Tech! Get the fuck out of here Mr. Trash suit!" He fired conclusively.

“Damn! What a sharp ending! This guy..I knew he was the hero. He kicked his damn ass.”

“That was Epic! Now it's time to throw this to all my handles.”

Then Kane scoffed, brushing off his suit as though Terry had sputtered him saliva.

“Not yet.” He said quietly. Terry turned to him again.

“And what do you say your name was again?" Kane asked calmly with an edge in his voice. His expression was unreadable and this made people turn, camera raised again. It looks more like a movie scene.

The patron who made the last comment raised his phone again.

“I think he's ready to challenge the hero now. Wow! Let's see how this is going to end.” He activated his Phone camera.

Terry smirked and a step closer. “Terry...and that name should stick in that dumb skull of yours. You should know who to challenge next time. I'm not going to say my surname because if I do, you're fall on your knee and lick my boot!"

Immediately he landed, Kane cut in sharply. “And Terry, you're really terrible and today you're going to meet trouble.”

“Damn! Sharp lines! Rhythms. This guy sounds like a rapper now!" Someone laughed.

Kane took a step closer, hands jammed in his trousers pocket and eyes locked on Terry...or terrible like a prey that strayed into his snare.

“You think working in an organization as a staff makes people lower? You're dumb for thinking like that!”

The statement hit Terry like a bomb and it wasn't just Kane's words that hit him but the gasps and laughter from the onlookers. It hurts more than a dagger stab to the neck.

But Kane didn't stop. Ego must be shattered and pride must be rubbed in the mud.

He tilted his head to the side and scoffed. “You looks like a school drop out. Someone who believes power is a measure of loudness. Didn't you read physics? You wasted your parents money and you come here to mention their surname like you respected it? Just to show your first name is loud, right? Lame!”

Silence fell. Terry's voice strangulated in his throat. It was as if Kane was reading the history of his life from an invisible book...he is correct with the things he mentioned. And the sheer similarities got Terry wozzy.

But it didn't last long. Terry laughed if off like it was all joke. He dusted his shirt, wearing back his confidence like perfume.

He clapped. “Nice Epistle. Epic!” He turned around and called out loudly.

“Where is the fucking manager of this goddamn place!! Call him now or I'm going to do something dangerous right now!!” He flared, voice tearing through the silence like a blade.

Footsteps.

Sharp and quick struck the pristine marble flooring like a ghost had suddenly resurrected. People moved aside as the manager of Neura Tech walked in.

“Here comes the suspense....This movie is taking a new turn. We have a side kick!" Cameras were still raised.

Mr. Dursely, the manager looks sharp in a crisp burnt navy suit. His presence alone effuses an air of authority and reverence. Staffs bowed and stepped out of his way. Some immediately sneaked back to their duty.

But Mr. Dursely didn't respond.

“What is happening here?" He asked no one in particular. His eyes fell on the crumbs of computer on the floor. He frowned.

Terry tugged the fold of his suit and stepped forward.

He began, pointing at Anna. “Mr. Dursely. Your staff member here ruined my computer and she's refusing to take responsibility for her mistake, saying it was all my fault.”

“What! Do you know who Mr. Terry is!! You're fired!!"

Terry smirked, satisfied. He stepped back, watching, leaning his body lazily against a cut–out.

Anna looked up, fresh tears spilling from her eyes. Her body was shaking like she had suddenly developed a fever symptom. Her trembling hands clasped in her front as she began pleading desperately.

“Please sir... please...I didn't do it..”

“Stop! You're begging no one!" Kane stepped in her front, facing the manager and Terry. He expected the manager to act professional. At least to ask why....or what really happened but he's a scum.

Mr. Dursley snared. “And who are you?” He raised a brow.

Kane didn't talk. He simply fished out his phone.

“Hello. I want the manager of Neura Tech fired. Right away!”

Mr. Dursley bursted into a feat of laughter, clutching his stomach in between and his other hand balancing on a platform as the laughter almost drove him crazy.

Tears was steaming from his eyes out of sheer amusement.

“You?!”
