ch 29 MY CRIME

Linda was still sitting there, as suddenly she felt so many people coming toward her way.

Just in a few seconds of her noticing it, all the six of the other member of the swords with their companions came there and surrounded her. Berry was also there with them.

As they all saw what had happened they couldn't even believe on their eyes.

Some of them had tears in their eyes as they were seeing their beloved leader lying there dead in front of them.

Everyone started to quarrel to each other

' how could this happen?

He is our leader, he is so strong.

How could he could be defeated by anyone.

I can't believe on my eyes.

Linda have blood on her hands.

Did she did that?

Even her mother is dead there.

What notorious shit would have occurred here? '

As Shin stopped everyone from talking and asked Linda in a slow and plain voice

' Linda? Could you please tell us what happened?

We were reported that there was no communication from the border, so king ordered us to check and we found so many dead bodies on the way. '

Shin is the strongest after Lucas and everyone respects him, even Linda as he is stronger then her too.

Linda tried to stand up and wiping her tears she said

' i killed my parents and the people you saw there.

Just arrest me and take me away.

But please let be a part of the burial, i just want to give them the last farewell. '

She was not even looking at him while she said that and kept her head down.

She was so sad but she had to do it or Zen might get in danger after that.

Others started to blame her for doing this, some were still saying that what motive she had for doing this.

In all this, Berry came forward and said

' I knew this would happen one day, Linda was so obsessed of her father being the leader of the seven swords.

She always wanted to be stronger then him and then take his place. '

Though Shin said

' no, i won't believe it.

She wanted to be stronger like her dad, but never wanted to take his place.

I know her very well and all of you do too.

So don't look at her like a criminal.

I know she didn't did this and you people should believe it too.

So i will ask you again Linda, what happened hear.

I know you might have some reason to say but trust me, whatever you say we will believe it.

I know you are not the one who did this, you could never do this not even if someone had forced you to do it.

So please tell me what happened. '

Berry still kept blaming her

' what are you saying, just look at her hand.

It fully stanched in blood, she had done it.

As Shin glared at him and he shut his mouth in fear.

As Shin said

' if anyone have to say anything more about Linda being the criminal here, they have to talk to me.

Is there anyone ? '

No one even quacked and he looked at Linda in hope to hear the real truth.

But she Looked at him and with a straight face she said

' i am the one who did this, there is nothing more of less to this.

Anything you say won't change my statement.

So please just don't ask me anymore questions, i have nothing to tell you anymore. '

Hearing her words, he looked at her and said

' Fine, just as you.

Arrest her and take to the custody.

Rap the bodies with care and take them to cemetery.

This case is now in the hands of the king. '

As they took Linda and the bodies with them.

But Shin still had his doubts toward the situation, Carla ( his companion) came to him and said

' there is a strange aura lingering around here everywhere.

I think the person who this aura belongs to have something to do with this and Linda taking all the blame on herself'

Shin replied

' i am sure who is the reason behind all this but we can't do anything if Linda won't say it.

Those worshipers of Kirmada are just some pesky bastards.

They always use tricks to manipulate others and now they have targeted her to take down our best chance against the them in the tournament.

At this rate we will never be able to live a free life without living in terror of those damn demons even if they are not on the planet. '

As the days passed and Linda was still in jail for the time being.

After few hearings in the court, Linda was charged with the crime but due to her serving the King for so many years and her father being Lucas.

She was just left with 1 year jail time and removal from the seven swords, also her gear license was dismissed.

She took all the blame and lived the way with her pitiful life as it was left with her.

She was even harassed in the prison for the time she spent there but she kept her cool and didn't got in any fights over the year.

After the year passed she was freed, she went to Zen who never loose his trust in her.

Her fellow sword members came to her too the day she got her bail.

They celebrated her new life, but not all of them were able to see her as a normal girl anymore.

They were just seeing her as a traitor but she put up with all the insults and harassment.

She started to learn healing in a medical academy to become a doctor just like her mother Mira.

Who was a great doctor.

She took the course of full healing of 3 hears and then she would have been able to become a full fledged doctor.

In these 3 years her life was also the same, people always kept her calling traitor not just to the nation but also for killing her own parents.

She never let any of that get to her head but she always felt those words deep inside of her.

She had cried for so much time but now her feeling were just broken in two and she couldn't care about others.

She was also separating from Zen, she use to visit him rarely.

He was becoming old and also was getting in the impression of others calling her daughter traitor.

He also had many fights with kids his age and older just because they insulted his sister.

She use to heal his wounds and tell him that to never ever react when they say anything about her.

If he trust her that she didn't did that then she doesn't need anyone to believe it.

The days passed by and she was in her last year of medical academy.

As she was in her class, one of her classmates called her to come with them.

But she refused as she knew that they might do prank with her or treat her shit.

But the girl said

' okay if you don't want to come with me just watch the news on your phone.

They are announcing that you were not guilty and you didn't killed your parents.

As she didn't took it seriously and just left the academy as she headed to her home.

As she was going toward her home she received a call from Zen, as she picked up he said

' I told you that one day you will be proven right, this is the day.

I am so happy for you Linda, come home quickly we should celebrate this moment.'

She couldn't believe what he said, so she instantly went to her home and turned on the tv.

As Zen came to her and was to say something but Linda cover his mouth as she needed to listen to the news.

In the news there was the King whose interview was recorded and being played with a video footage.

As King says that

' i humbly apologise to Miss. Linda.

For our failure in coming up with the right decision, as we have got an footage of the day the incident that happened at the “Clook” river border.

I was the one who recieved this video in my room as a pendrive was lying on my bed today.

I had made sure that the technical team has analysed the whole video perfectly and made sure that its not created.

So it is real.

I am here on this day to apologise to Miss linda for what she had gone through all these years as the video clearly shows that the people who are in shadows made Her do it.

She didn't did it on her own, she is not responsible for anything that happened that day.

She might have some reason she didn't told the truth and we respect that but now when the truth is out i want to make repentance of what i did to her.

If Miss Linda will come to the court anytime she wishes i would like to apologise to her in person and compensate her for her loss.

Though i know that compensating her with anything will not be the worth of what she had gone through, but still will suffice for an apology to her from the nations she had devoted her life to.

But if she were to forgive me and then maybe i would be able to think that something has lifted off my shoulder, the burden of putting her in a blame of crime that she killed her own parents who she loved and looked up to.

Sorry Linda, i am seriously sorry. '

As Linda saw this and she just dropped on the couch.

Zen looked at her, as her eyes were full of tears.

He asked her if she was okay, Linda looked at him and hugged her and said

' I am definitely great, i am, i am believe me, i am.'

As she kept crying in his arms, she had cried after a long time now.

But this time her eyes were weeping for happiness not sadness.
