Chapter 9: Operation Starts.

It took around 20 minutes, Nalan asked quite a lot of questions while Jin answered them without any hesitation.

"You know, I'm wondering now why a person such as yourself does not have a work." Nalan couldn't help but be quite confused by this.

Jin smiled: "Well, it's not really me not having a job, it's that I just quit today."

He didn't really lie though, he had just sold his company after all, which technically means, quitting his job.

Well, it's Nalan's fault that she did not clarify what his job is

"Ohh!" Nalan finally understood, she nodded her head: "What kind of job did you do?"

Well, now she did!

Jin couldn't help but chuckle as he replied: "Well, I was the owner of a huge company before, but I had just quit."

Nalan couldn't help but chuckle as well, thinking that it was a joke on his part.

But she shook her head: "Well, I will be giving you a company to manage, so you will be the president once more, isn't that right?"

Jin couldn't help but chuckle and nodded his head.

Nalan then continued: "Well, all of it will be under my name, the benefits of the president will be divided 50/50, for me and for you."

Jin nodded his head.

Nalan nodded and continued: "Well, this company is only 2 million, but it's still quite big, so I hope you won't let me down and raise it quite properly."

Hearing this, Jin couldn't help but chuckle, but then, he thought about something.

A company worth 2 million, even if he focuses more on space, he could use that company for storage purposes!

"Where is it located at?" Jin asked, he paused for a bit before asking once more: "What kind of company is it?"

"It's in the far western part of the city, it's selling some cars, we have ties with Lingyun Motors and they will be supplying the cars, we will get 20% of revenues for each car sold, 10% will go to the agent selling it while the other 8% will go to us and 2% for the company." Nalan then started explaining in detail.

After explaining, Nalan handed over the key and other files to Jin.

Jin was quite speechless: "You've been bringing this with you?"

Nalan chuckled: "Well, I was planning to run away first and hold on to this company and survive, but since you arrived, the plans have changed."

Jin nodded his head: "Well, I guess so." 

Nalan then added: "Right, tomorrow, I will introduce you to my parents and grandfather."

"They are quite strict, and I hope that no matter what, try to ignore it."

"They will belittle you, they will judge you, they will do everything to put you down, so I hope that you can bear it all."

"For every hurtful word that they will say, I will give you an additional 1,000, is that fine?"

Hearing all of this, Jin wasn't sure how to react. 'Are your family made out of savages?'

But then, after thinking about it some more, what would he actually do if at some point, his sisters were to introduce a man to him? He's probably going to be a savage as well right?

At this time, the bus stopped.

"Well, this is my stop." Nalan stood up.

Jin chuckled and nodded, he stood up as well.

Nalan thought he was giving way to her, but Jin also walked out of the bus.

"You live around here as well?" Nalan asked.

Jin nodded his head: "Yep, since we live close to each other, I'll walk you to your home, it's rather dark already."

Hearing this, Nalan smiled: "Well, don't blame me if my father goes rather rough against you if he sees us together."

Jin chuckled: "I could probably handle my own."

"Quite confident aren't you?" Nalan couldn't help but remark.

Jin chuckled: "Yes, running from your father would probably be quite easy considering my physique."

Nalan then wrapped her arms around his: "Then, honey, we should go!"

"Un!"

The two of them then started walking, and in just a few minutes, they arrived.

"Then, see you tomorrow, honey?" Nalan couldn't help but add.

Jin smiled: "Sure, I guess I won't be bullied tonight."

With that, the two parted ways.

Nalan wanted to play a prank, she wanted to plant a kiss on Jin's cheeks, but she saw someone's shadow from their mansion's windows.

Meanwhile, that shadow couldn't help but look at Jin's receding back.

"Ruk." He uttered.

Then, a person appeared immediately from the other side of the door.

"You called, master." The person named Ruk immediately bowed.

"Check the background of that person for me, he looked familiar." 

"I will do it immediately." After his reply, Ruk immediately started running to follow Jin.

He will definitely bring back information about him later on.

Meanwhile, as Jin was walking back to his own mansion, he checked his phone and it was a minute till 10:00 PM.

He has these rules with his secretaries.

They will call him usually when something is up from the things he had asked them to do.

If he does not pick up, they have to do three things.

The first instance is when if he does not pick his phone up if it's an emergency, they will call him again immediately.

If it's not that important, they can wait for an hour before calling again, but if it's really almost negligible and could be reported the next day, they will call after three hours.

And as expected, his secretary immediately called when 10:00 PM hit.

"What is it?" Jin asked.

[Secretary Lim: President, we had contracted 90 architects, 57 of them had agreed to do this project together.]

Jin was quite satisfied hearing this: "Did you tell them that it had a deadline of one month?"

[Secretary Lim: Yes, president, they are heading to our city immediately and will arrive tomorrow to discuss the plan.]

Jin: "Alright, prepare everything for me tomorrow."

[Secretary Lim: As you wish.]

With that, Jin was satisfied, his operation was finally starting.

Soon, he arrived at his own mansion.

He couldn't help but smile awkwardly.

There were thousands of boxes on the vacant spots in his garden area.

At this, he was immediately greeted by his butler.

"Master Jin, you're back." The butler bowed slightly and welcomed Jin home.

Jin nodded his head: "Sebastian, are all of these the ones that had arrived?"

Based on Jin's calculations, all of the things he had ordered would be 20 times more than these ones.

Sebastian smiled wryly: "Master, in the backyard, there are twice as many of these."

Hearing this, Jin couldn't help but smile wryly.

And that's not the end of them all, he still has more coming, so much more.
