Varrly had arrived at his office. He hurried inside. Accidentally, Varrly bumped into Louis. Varrly was quite surprised and immediately stopped in his tracks.

"Louis, why are you here?" Varrly approached Louis. His gaze was still condescending because he saw Louis dressed.

Louis looks the same as before, very simple. I'm sure Evelyn just made up the story," Varrly said to himself as he stared at Louis.

"Of course, because I have business here," Louis replied casually.

"You're probably just delivering food to one of the employees here." Varrly sneered as she looked down on Louis.

"That's none of your business," Louis said firmly.

"It's been more than five years, and you haven't changed at all. It was not in vain that I left you," said Varrly with a soft laugh.

Louis tried to ignore Varrly and walked away. But Varrly immediately stopped Louis.

"Wait a minute!" Varrly prevented Louis from leaving.

"Louis. I warn you not to bother Evelyn. I'm sure you're still trying to brainwash my daughter," Varrly warned.

"What do you mean? There's no point in my taking care of her anymore," replied Louis.

"Don't play dumb!" growled Varrly.

"Whatever you say. I don't have much time," said Louis.

"Don't act like you're so busy. Your salary is low. I think you still have trouble even putting food on the table," said Varrly.

Louis laughed at Varrly's words. "You think you know everything about me? The fact that I'm still alive means I don't lack food."

"Tell me honestly, you must have lied to Evelyn. You said you were married to a rich woman. I'm sure no rich woman would want you," said Varrly.

"Don't act like me. I can easily get a rich man because I'm highly educated and smart," she continued.

"I never told Evelyn that I was married to a rich woman. But if that's what she thinks, that's up to her." Louis seemed indifferent to Evelyn's opinion of him.

"Damn it! You're trying to fool my daughter," Varrly growled.

"Varrly. As you requested, I have cut ties with Evelyn. She is not my daughter, and I have nothing to do with her anymore," said Louis.

"Don't lie to me. You deliberately told Evelyn that you had become a rich man because you remarried. But from what I see now, it seems that you are still the same as before," said Varrly.

"It doesn't matter what you think, because to me, none of that matters anymore," Louis said firmly.

"No wonder Evelyn thought you had become a rich man. You're talking so arrogantly. You think I'll come back to you and regret it? That will never happen, Louis," said Varrly.

Louis sighed. He was really tired of having to deal with Varrly.

"Who's being arrogant? Maybe it's just your mind that's too narrow," replied Louis.

"Damn it! How dare you insult me?" snapped Varrly with an annoyed expression.

Suddenly, three people approached Varrly.

"Varrly, what's wrong? Is this guy causing trouble for you?" asked one of Varrly's coworkers.

Varrly smiled slightly when she saw her three coworkers approaching.

"Monica. I don't know what I did wrong, but this lowly courier dared to insult me," said Varrly softly.

"Oh my god, I didn't expect that. It turns out that Varrly's character has gotten even worse. He dared to slander me," Louis said to himself.

"So this man is a courier, but he dared to insult you? How shameless," Monica grumbled.

"That's not how it was. I wasn't the one looking for trouble, but that woman was looking for trouble with me. Even though I had already intended to leave," explained Louis.

"Don't lie! You even demanded extra money from me earlier," Varrly shouted angrily.

"I really want to rip his mouth off, but I have to control myself," Louis muttered, trying to hold back his anger.

"Damn it! Do you want to get fired from your job for picking a fight with my friend?" said Varrly's coworker.

"Go ahead if you can fire me," Louis replied casually.

"How arrogant. You dare to brag to me. Don't regret it if you get fired from your job later," the man said, slapping Louis hard on the back.

"Do as you please," Louis said with a smile.

Varrly and her three friends stared at Louis with annoyance.

"This is the first time I've seen a low-paid courier who dares to defy us," Monica grumbled.

"What's there to be afraid of?" Louis appeared to remain relaxed.

"Louis really has no shame; he's acting all brave. He must be trying to provoke me, so that I will think like Evelyn," Varrly said to herself as she glared at Louis.

"He thinks I'm a stupid woman! I'm sure no rich woman would be interested in a lowly man like him," she continued.

Louis intended to leave, but Varrly's two colleagues immediately stopped him.

"You can't leave before apologizing to Varrly," they said, grabbing Louis's arm tightly.

Louis shook off the man's hand forcefully. "Why should I apologize? I didn't do anything wrong."

"We won't let you leave until you apologize and kneel before Varrly," said Monica.

Varrly smiled because all his colleagues were on his side. He had succeeded in humiliating Louis.

"I will never do that!" Louis replied firmly.

"You have to do it. I will definitely forgive you. If not, my friends will make things difficult for you," said Varrly with a sad expression.

Actually, it wasn't a sad expression, but rather a mocking one. He was pretending to look sad.

"You won't just lose your job. Your life could be in serious trouble if you don't apologize to Varrly immediately," said the man.

"Just so you know, she has a wonderful husband who is very influential in this country," said Monica, pushing Louis's body.

"I don't care about that. Please stop arguing with me. I don't have time to deal with all of you," said Louis.

Hearing that, Monica immediately slapped Louis' cheek very hard.

"How dare a lowly worker like you be rude to us?" Monica snapped.

"Force him to kneel before Varrly," she continued, ordering her two colleagues.

The two men immediately forced Louis to his knees.

"I can't fight them with violence," Louis said to himself as he tried to resist.

One of the men kicked Louis's leg, causing him to fall, and the two of them immediately held Louis down to keep him kneeling.

Seeing this, Varrly smiled with a look of satisfaction on his face. He had succeeded in humiliating Louis.

"Apologize quickly!" snapped one of them.

"If only Jack were here too, I would be even happier," Varrly said to himself.

"I will never apologize to that woman," said Louis, staring intently at Varrly.

Just as one of them was about to hit Louis again, a loud voice stopped them.

"Who dares to cause a disturbance in the office?" he said firmly.

The man walked closer, and Varrly and his three friends immediately bowed respectfully.
