System Arrival

"Shhh... Follow me closely, let's go check it out." Gabriel uttered in a hurry and led the way as they climbed up the stairs that leads to the passage that is inside the house, and when they entered the sitting room, they opened the window curtains slowly and peeped through to see for themselves but the noise of the gunshots seems to have travelled far from the vicinity.

Gabriel closed the curtain and stared right into her eyes — she had a dark brown almond shaped eyes which was a perfect match for her straight nose and round lips. Her side-swept long bangs also made her soft-angled eyebrows speak of a beautiful beyond description. And as she stared back, she was persuaded to believe that he was not afraid and that she was going to be safe with him. She admired his well trimmed beards which made his pointed roman-like nose much cute than when she last saw it, but she never seem to take her eyes off his thin lips, though his charming close set eyes were enough to make her love him more, especially when he flattens his almost hard angled eyebrows.

[Cleared throat]

"I think we should head back to the basement now." Madison whispered as though she knew there was something still out there; for the moment she spoke, they heard a sound of something speaking not too far from them and the voice was like breaking from one medium of airy interface to another and was purely ambient.

„traaphik reezzzz fliirrk„

That seems to be all they could hear that they had to open the curtain a little. They could not believe their eyes when they saw a creature about the size of a bear but having the skin of a gorilla yet standing like a mortal man on the fence. It's skin was black all through and it had a long arm with notable sharp claws but there was no such thing as a horn as most people imagine a demon creature to be. It was there for about three minutes from the time they opened the curtain and all of a sudden, it leaped towards the street and vanished out of their sight.

"F*ck! Tell me you saw that, Madison. This is really happening." Gabriel muttered, sounding a bit nervous and she nodded her heard, replying without taking his nervousness as a sign of fear.

"Yes it is, Gabriel. So, whatever it is that the angel I believe whom you saw must have said, you need to take it more seriously and let us find a way to stop these things. At least we have to do something to defend Hanford until the government comes to our aid. As for saving the world, I have no plans for that and I am in no support of it because I can't afford to lose you." Madison kept talking on their way to the basement.

"I must say I am taking all these seriously now that I have seen what we are up against. Help me get this thing up." He muttered and lifted the silver titanium alloys placing them one after the other on a hot fiery slope to forge it to his desired shape according to the vessels he had placed to receive the molten substance. Soon, they both began to sweat and the place was as hot as hell on one side of the basement where he was forging the suit meant for Optimus. At some point, Madison declared,

"...this is a whole lot of work for one man. What if I was not here to help?..."

"That's why you are here. I can't begin to imagine otherwise. Thank God you are here to help me out." He added.

While waiting for the alloys to cool down, he faced the skeletal part of the robot to ensure everything else was okay and well connected...

"Gabriel, do you think this fight is about you creating a robot? What if the angel you encountered was trying to tell you that you will be the one to fight those things?" Madison asked the minute she felt her stomach shivering for fear of losing him.

"Haha, that's kind of funny, you know. C'mon, Madison, it can not possibly be that he is asking me to fight something like that. I am sure that will be suicide. Did you not see that thing out there? Definitely no angel in his right mind would ask me to go after that. Look, I believe he was indirectly saying that I have to work on my robotic project and create as many as possible to defend earth... Come to think of it, why would I be receiving such huge amount of money from an unknown source. Definitely this is the angelic support he talked about and he must have trusted me to use the money wisely in creating robots." Gabriel sputtered disagreeably

"Well, if you ask me, I sincerely do not think he must have left you without anything. What about the friends he said you are to find and unite yourself together for this purpose? Do you think they are people who are going to be passionate about robots as you? We both know it is definitely not possible to find anybody in Hanford who is as passionate to create a robot as you. All the guys we know bought theirs." Madison protested.

"We are about to find out. For now, help me, let us suit this thing up." Gabriel muttered, asking for help with the lifting of the chest protective coating made of gold titanium alloys, and after that, they both went for the arms and legs and thighs... Clothing Optimus till there was no layer left unprotected. The joints around Optimus knee and elbows were ball-like, even to the ends of it's ankle and every other movable area excluding its neck, though Gabriel coated it all in a way that no amount of bullet hit, no matter how upgraded the weapon is, could ever penetrate to damage any internal circuit, internally.

"Phew, this definitely took a long time to put together. This looks way better than all the robots I have seen out there, both on the online store. Gabriel, You are a genius if this thing should come up." Madison Parker commented having her hands on her waist while watching him seal the remaining part of its feet, working so seriously with a soldering iron and some other instruments.

"Now let's have you come alive, Optimus!" Gabriel declared enthusiastically and sat on a chair with his laptop, proceeding to initiate the boot system remotely.
