She wanted to see Mrs Lucy.

"I want to see if I can get more information from her. I'll make her believe that I was sent by her son. And she'll certainly trust me. Then I see if there's a way I can find out if she has any plans with Dave beforehand..." Anne explained.

Mr Lucas and the secretary nodded at her idea. They believed she was the best person for the job. And so they allowed her.

    Dave and Mrs Lucy arrived at the dining table and sat down together with the others there.Jack and Anne were already seated and waiting for them.
