In the kitchen, Elena scurried over plates and pans. Ingredients for food were laid on several pieces of kitchen equipment and looked more like they were laboratory apparatus rather than real kitchen equipment. It was now pitch darkness outside of the room. Isaiah had gained more control over his body and had begun walking. He was staring outside of the window, thinking about the Gambinos and the chances that they would find him here. Behind him, Luke sat, hands inspecting his neck to see if it was now better healed.
