The next morning, Tedmond sat in his room, studying at his computer when Neil barged in.

“Are you seriously going to make me wear cam glasses?” Neil questioned, holding up a pair of glasses for Tedmond to see.

Neil was fully dressed in black pants, a hot pink blouse, and matching pink heels. He wore makeup and a long blonde wig, looking more like a woman than before.

“You should work on your voice,” Tedmond said. “And I don’t remember giving you permission to barge into my room.”

Neil scoffed. “Yeah, yeah. But why do I have to enroll in your school?”

“It’s the easiest way to see him,” Tedmond replied.

“I hate studying.”

“You don’t have to.”

“Hmph.”

Tedmond glanced at Neil, a sinister look creeping onto his face. He couldn't help but wonder what Max's reaction would be when he realized he'd dated a man.

“From now on, your name will be Alicia Lin,” Tedmond told Neil. “I’ve prepared a fake ID for you, and your father agreed to it, too.”

At the mention of his father, Neil flinched. “My fa

Faced with Tedmond’s words, the Griffins had no idea how to react. They couldn’t understand why he had walked in and immediately started taunting them, as if he had a personal vendetta against each and every one of them.To them, it felt like he had trespassed into their home, beaten up one of their sons, and stirred up more tension for no valid reason. All they could see was a bitter young man lashing out. None of them realized how long he had been standing outside, listening to everything they had said.“Tedmond, stop this!” Tina snapped, stepping forward. “That’s enough. He tried to hit you, and you beat him up. Fine. You defended yourself.”Gerald turned sharply to her, eyes narrowing. “What do you mean by fine?!” he demanded. “He hit my son so hard he’s curled up like a baby, and you think that’s fine? Are you listening to yourself?!”Adeline finally spoke, her tone impatient. “Yes, Tina’s right. We’ve been waiting for Tedmond to return so we could handle this. Otis swung first a

Tedmond looked at his stepmother, his gaze unreadable. He had entered the mansion to meet with them, but paused at the entrance when he heard voices coming from inside. He had heard everything they said, especially the part about the lawyer. Now, Tedmond was certain the lawyer was the one who had made the documents valid, though he had no idea why. After all, there was no history between them. The man had never mocked him, and they had never exchanged a single private word.Still, Tedmond wanted to find him and understand the reason behind his actions. But one thing was clear: the lawyer must hold a grudge against either Otis or Gerald. And Tedmond couldn’t deny that the man’s actions had helped him. After hearing all they had to say, he decided to make his presence known, which brought everything to where it was now.“What do you mean?!” Maxine yelled, her eyes flaring with fury as she rose to her feet. She had tried to find him and failed, and now that he had shown up and was disres

Gerald had gotten tired of hearing Otis yell like that and decided to do something, and just as he had agreed, Richard had too.“Enough, Otis!” Gerald snapped, stepping in front of him. “You’ve crossed the line.”“You don’t speak to your aunt like that,” Richard added firmly. “Are you mad? That’s your father’s sister. Show some respect!”“Exactly,” Evelyn said, rising from her seat. “You talk about legacy and honor, but you cannot even control your mouth in front of elders? If anyone’s disgracing this family, it’s you.”All the family members were visibly annoyed that Otis had dared to speak to Tina like they were age mates just because his assets had been stolen. Seeing the others speak about it prompted them to voice their opinions.Lisa folded her arms and shook her head. “You want everyone to hunt Tedmond down, yet you insult the very people trying to help. No wonder everything is falling apart.”Maxine stood next, her voice icy. “We are all frustrated, but don’t you dare think th

Adeline looked at the people in front of her, her brows furrowed in a deep frown. Since Oscar had left, she had not been able to contact him. The same went for Tedmond.Every effort they had made to reach the lawyer had come up empty. The man had vanished right after finalizing the asset transfer. Now, they were completely certain he had conspired with Tedmond to steal the fortune. He had betrayed them. They were all gathered again, just as they had been every week, trying to figure out their next move. They wanted to know if anyone had tracked down Tedmond, his daughter, or anyone remotely connected to him. After a long silence, filled only with the sound of waiting and shifting seats, Frank finally cleared his throat and spoke. No one else seemed willing to take charge.“Did anyone find anything about Benedict?” he asked, his gaze scanning the room. His eyes lingered on each face before finally resting on Adeline. As the one most blamed for trusting the lawyer, she was expected to s

Over a week had passed since the incident in the lounge, and now, Tedmond stood at the airport, a simple duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He had chosen not to use the family’s private jet this time. Not for any major reason, just a quiet preference for keeping a low profile. The jet drew too much attention. Right now, he wanted to return. The commercial flight was boarding soon, and he had a few minutes left before the security check. Persis and Bianca stood beside him, both dressed casually, trying not to look too emotional. Behind them, Howard and Rick stood with folded hands, their expressions neutral but respectful.Persis stepped forward first and hugged him tightly. “We’ll be coming back soon. Just want to look around for a while,” she murmured. He smiled, patting her back. “Alright. Just don’t stay too long. You wouldn’t want to miss too many classes.”Bianca hugged him next, looping her arms around his neck. “Call us when you land. Or text. Don’t disappear.”“I’ll let you k

  • CHAPTER 330

At first, Adrian had thought Kallista came to the cell to act like she cared. He assumed it was Xander’s twisted way of mocking him, and her fault that he’d been caught. She must have told her brother everything, made sure Xander came along, just to set him up. Her pathetic act of concern had annoyed him. But now, he realized something he hadn’t expected: her brother had done the unthinkable—he’d tossed her into the cell too. Now, they were both trapped. But while she looked hopeful, Adrian wasn’t. And that hope in her eyes only irritated him more.He shifted on the other bench with an annoyed grunt. The silence grated on him. Her presence grated on him.“Stop looking like that,” he snapped.Kallista blinked, startled. She turned to look at him, and the look in her eyes vanished, replaced with a large frown. But the frown immediately disappeared too when she met his gaze.“Like what?”“Like some sad, broken doll,” he sneered. “You think I’m the villain here? You threw yourself at me,
