His words caused gasps to erupt from the policemen, their eyes widening with shock. “How dare you?!” One of them barked, grabbing his gun from the sheath. “Take back those words, or I will blow your brains out!” He threatened, pointing the gun to Elias’s face. For over ten seconds, he had expected to see Elias fidget, but it didn’t look like he was going to see that. Elias was still calm and composed, holding onto the wry smile that was etched all over his face. The rest of the policemen were stunned to see no reaction on the Godfather’s face, staring at him with arched brows. Slowly, they turned to Sam, who was not left out of the bemusement, staring at Elias with wide eyes. “I can see that you have guts, Mister.” Sam snorted, glaring at the Godfather. “I am going to lock you up and make sure you don’t see the light of day.” He threatened, but Elias refused

Jacob moved closer to his sister, and to pacify her, he whispered some words into her ear, nodding to affirm them with a smile on his face. At that moment, silence had taken over, but he walked up to Elias with slow steps. “Just relax, Elias. My brother will send for you once he is done with what he is doing inside.
