Chapter 59

Daniel winced at the sound of the smashing phone; his enlightened hearing sense made it sound like a bomb had just gone off. He moved away from the car as he tried to recover.

His guess was spot on; he could only imagine how pissed the man on the other end of the line was. Finally, he was close; the person was in the same town as he was.

He quickly got into his car and drove off to a secluded area, making sure Rexa had turned off all the street cameras along the routes he was using.

He arrived at the abandoned warehouse and began dragging the men one by one inside. Two of them were already awake but were too weak to move. Daniel quickly tied their hands behind the chairs and ordered Rexa to completely drain the gas from their system.

Soon all four men were awake.

Daniel stood in front of them without hiding his face.

"Good evening, I apologize for interrupting your break-in," he said before getting right to the point and asking who sent them.
