“He’s a loser and a brokie, sir! He shouldn’t even be allowed in this college!” Dave shouted.
After a series of tough questioning, Mr. Donald finally let Nathan go. Being a smart kid, he was able to answer all of the professors' questions. This made Dave heat up, but Nathan didn’t care. He was feeling on top of the world. At this point, he could literally buy the whole of Luxton university and it wouldn’t cost him anything. From time to time, he would exchange glances with Amanda. He honestly loved her and he had always thought she felt the same. They never kissed, not even once. But Nathan was okay with it. The thought of just having one of the campus beauties as his girlfriend was more than enough for him. But he learned in a painful way that she was just a gold digger who would follow any man with money. If only she had stayed with him, her life would have been better. He shut his eyes in slight pain for Amanda and disgust for Dave. He was going to make sure they paid dearly. Everyone in this school will pay dearly for making fun of a lowly boy with no parents. They don’t know him, son. They’re about to. And when they do, it will be breathtaking and vengeful! It will be epic and Amanda will regret it dearly. After Professor Donald’s class, all the senior year students were asked to meet in the announcement hall. A charity organisation had just come to the school and gave a few inspiring speeches about how they are trying to save trees and plants from being completely destroyed from planet earth. As a way of showing support and learning to give, all the students in Luxton university were asked to make contributions to support the program. Many students were moved and made donations silently. Others used that as a means to show off what they own. And Dave? As soon as he stepped out, everyone cheered him. He was like a god in Luxton university. He was well respected –because he was a rich dude- and so everyone knew his donation would be worth more than all other donations put together. “I am a nature lover and I do respect this movement.” Dave began speaking. He made sure his presence was felt as he raised his shoulder and motioned his arms as he spoke. “My lovely girlfriend and I have decided to make a donation of $2 million!” At the call of that figure, the whole students burst into applause. Everyone stood up to show their respect for the school’s hottest dude! “I know, I know, it’s a lot of money. But we come from nature. So, we have to give back to nature! So, I hope my donations would go a long way for your movement!” Dave said and got off the stage. Nathan's eyes met Dave's confident gaze, and for a moment, he felt a surge of anger and resentment. Dave's pompous display of wealth and popularity grated on his nerves, especially knowing that Amanda was by his side, basking in his glory. But Nathan quickly pushed aside his negative emotions. He was no longer the same boy who was bullied and ridiculed. He was a billionaire now, with the power to make a real difference in the world. As Dave stepped off the stage, Nathan rose from his seat, his jaw set with determination. Ignoring the whispers and chuckles from his classmates, he made his way to the front of the hall, where the charity organisers were waiting to receive donations. "I would like to make a donation as well," Nathan announced, his voice steady and resolute. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his Exclusive Bank Card, ready to transfer a significant sum to support the cause. “What is he doing?” “The poor boy wants to make a donation? When he can’t afford to buy proper clothes?” “Is he crazy? He wants to embarrass himself even more?” “Let’s see what happens!”But as he tried to input the amount, a strange error message flashed on the screen. “Card Error!” Nathan frowned in confusion and tried again, but the same message appeared. “Card Error!” "What's going on?" Nathan muttered under his breath, feeling a knot of frustration forming in his stomach. He glanced up, and his heart sank as he saw the smirks and snickers of his classmates, including Dave and Amanda. Marcus and Neil were the only ones who frowned as they also felt embarrassment for their friend. "Looks like the poor boy's out of luck," Dave sneered, loud enough for everyone to hear. "Maybe he should stick to counting his pennies instead of pretending to be generous." The taunts and laughter echoed in Nathan's ears, but he refused to back down. He quickly slid back his card into his pocket in shame before anyone would get to see that he was holding an exclusive card. It would have been worse. Clenching his jaw, he turned to the charity organisers and spoke with quiet determination. "Something seems to be wrong with my card, but I'll make sure to arrange the donation later. Please, let me know how I can contribute in other ways," Nathan said, his voice unwavering despite the humiliation burning in his chest. As he walked away from the stage, Nathan felt a mixture of anger and embarrassment coursing through him. He didn’t understand what was going on! He had intended on making a donation of up to 7 million dollars. Deep down, he loved nature and despised the idea of trees being cut down and not replaced. But at this moment, he couldn’t even raise his head, for shame that everyone would laugh at him. As the event ended, Nathan began to walk away. He was going to call Fred and ask him what the problem was and maybe even query him for deceiving him. Was this all just some big joke? Was he being lied to? And if not, then what really happened?

CHAPTER 430 (THE END)
“What now? You’re gonna leave me here to die away? Huh? Is that how you forgive? And I don’t need your fucking forgiveness, you hear me?” “You are still a loser. Look what it took you to get here! You lost Fred, lost your employees, lost your wife, lost your sister! You are a loser, Nathan, and it will always be that way! Go on, walk away like you always do, but what I said just now is the truth, okay?” Alex roared out in agony and pain, trying to break free. His words kept opening a wound in Nathan’s heart. A wound that he was trying to heal, a wound he would spend a trillion dollars to completely close up. But Alex did not give a damn! He needed to lash out his own anger and cries. “I would kill you over and over again, brother. Our father was an asshole just like you. He hated me, he could not bear the responsibility of a son from his janitor. And I am the product of that disgusting intimacy, Nathan.” Alex’s voice broke. He didn’t want it to, but it did. His entire body shook,
CHAPTER 429 (GRANDE FINALE)
Alex Reed struggled to breathe as hard as he struggled to see. He looked around and could barely see a thing. He was in a dark room and whoever the fuck put him there was merciful enough to place a dim light above his head, just enough for him to see his own breath. He tried to move, but his body was numb, and yes, he was tied to a chair, so he could not move. He had been captured. He tried to recall the last incident that happened to him. He was in his car, driving to the airport for his departure, and then he was drinking… Yes. He was poisoned by a man who was not Mark, his driver. Someone had ambushed him, and now, he was tied up to a stupid chair when he was supposed to be on the seat of his private jet. Clearly, it was Megan. Alex had been humiliated to the core already. He had Vanessa slap him ruthlessly in public, diminishing his pride, lowering his esteem in front of the whole world. Then, he had Emma threaten him. This was not right. This was not the Alex he had envision
CHAPTER 428 (FINALE)
Marcus’s breath hitched. His heart pounded in his ears, drowning out the sound of the wind rustling through the trees. His fingers curled into fists, and for the first time in years, he felt something he had long buried—fear. His lips parted slightly, but no words came. April, oblivious to the storm brewing within Marcus, stared at Neil’s grave with a mixture of shock and grief. “Neil…” she whispered, her voice cracking. “I—I didn’t even know he was buried here. I mean, I heard he was killed. And whoever did it, death to the person.” Mr. Frost said nothing. He simply stood there, his hands in his coat pockets, his head slightly tilted, watching Marcus the way a lion watches its prey—patient, unhurried, and inevitable. “You seem shaken, Marcus,” Mr. Frost finally said, his voice smooth, almost amused. “Why?” Marcus forced a dry chuckle. “I just… I wasn’t expecting this,” he lied. “It’s just bringing back memories.” “Ah,” Mr. Frost nodded, taking a slow step toward Neil’s grave.
CHAPTER 427 (FINALE)
“You said you wanted to see me?” Asked Marcus, panting. He had been running. He dared not disappoint Mr. Frost or make him wait. Especially because Mr. Frost had been cold towards him for a while. Marcus was not sure why Mr Frost would tell him to meet him at the cemetery. He literally just returned from a journey, not a vacation trip, a work trip to Dubai and he had been there for over 1 month, alone and away from all social connections, online and offline. “Did you bring your girlfriend as I requested?” asked Mr. Frost. “Yes I did, sir.” Marcus responded and signalled for April to come over. This was yet another strange thing. Why did he request for April too? April walked up to them and greeted Mr. Frost respectfully. Mr. Frost looked into her eyes and smiled, the type of smile that came from past lives and would live on for millions of years. His smile was so endearing, thought April, the very first day she met him. There was an aura he exuded that was so… so familiar, so
CHAPTER 426
Mr. Frost stood there, silently allowing the breeze to softly kiss his tender skin. Tender? No, more like rough and craggy. In this context, many people would say he had been through hell and back. But this was not the case for Mr. Frost. He lived in hell, ate in hell, cried in hell, burnt in hell, revived, burnt again, defeated demons, defeated the devil himself, and took over control. But he was close. He was this close to losing it, this close to becoming the very thing that destroyed him. His life had been a mystery, a story that could cover over 2,000 pages and 400 chapters. If only he had been writing a story of his life, or at least just documenting some specific events or even writing a journal, then it might probably be the best selling book in the New York Times or even in the entire world. Maybe he would title it, “The Man Who Survived Hell and Ruled It.” or “A Man Called Revenge!” He scoffed. He gulped down his bottle of wine as he reminisced back to early orphan
CHAPTER 425
“I… I’m sorry, Loulou. But this is it! You remember when you I used to carry that firewood back in Egypt? And then, I would… I would, um, fall and trip over? Then you would say, ‘Abni, adhhab wastriha. ead ghadan wasawf takun 'aqwaa’?” “Then I would run back home and cry. Ha!” Alex sniffed in. “I think this is the time, Loulou. I am falling. I am tripping over, and I cannot stand by and watch all that we have built crumble. I have no one left, Loulou. Vanessa has left me, Megan she… she is a fucking snake and had been a betrayer.” “All the people I called friends are fucking leeches. Parasites. I will be returning back to Egypt, Mom, but not for long. I will be back. Stronger and better.” Cozbi just lay there, eyes shut, breathing slow and paced. Alex was not sure when she would wake up or if leaving her was the right decision. But he smelled danger. First of all, Vanessa had actually been around all those times, and then Megan, whom he thought was going to be his salvation, turned
