Torture

At dawn, Cosmos was jolted awake by the sound of heavy footsteps echoing through the dimly lit corridors of the mansion. His heart hammered in his chest as he sat up in bed, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he braced himself for what was to come.

Before he could even gather his wits, the door to his room burst open with a resounding crash, and Cosmos found himself staring down the barrels of several menacing firearms. Chairman Conrad stood at the center of the armed men, his expression dark and foreboding as he fixed Cosmos with a steely gaze.

"Get up, Cosmos," Chairman Conrad commanded, his voice cold and unforgiving. "We have some unfinished business to attend to."

Cosmos's stomach churned with dread as he complied with his father's orders, his limbs trembling with fear as he followed the men out of his room and down into the depths of the mansion.
