Chapter 1
Kelita's Call
The blaring sirens of the military base cut through the heavy air of the early morning. Kadmiel had just finished another tiring and intense training session, his muscles ached but his mind was sharp.
He excelled in the intensity of the military life. The unforgiving discipline was where he found comfort and peace from the wounds of his past, wounds he thought had begun to heal. But as his phone rang, he felt something below his stomach twist. Calls during this time were rare, especially from home. He looked at the screen of his phone and his sisters name appeared, a thin line of unease crawled through his mind. “Kadmiel...” Kelita’s voice was broken, trembling with fear and something else, probably grief. "They’re gone…..” Her voice echoed from the other side of the phone. “Who’s gone?” Kadmiel inquired immediately, his voice firm. “Mom and Dad…they jumped from the building. They said they could not live with the shame anymore. “Kadmiel stood frozen, the words hammering hard into his chest. “What are you talking about, Kelita? Jumped? Why would they…." “It was not their choice!” Kelita’s voice grew with panic. They were forced to do it! The Four Great Families... they cornered them and left them no other choice. It was suicide or worse. We lost everything. Our company is gone. The debts... they claim we owe millions. I don't know what to do…” Kadmiel’s mind was left unsettled, piecing together the horror his sister was spilling. The Four Great Families, his sworn enemies, had destroyed his family while he was away serving the country. But it was not over yet. Kelita’s breathing quickened, barely holding herself together. “There’s more news Kadmiel….” she whispered with tears. “They have taken me, Kadmiel. They’re going to sell me. I... I’m being trafficked to pay off the debt they claim we owe. I’m scared. Please, come quickly... before they……” The line went dead. For a moment, the world stopped. The weight of it all crashed down on him. His parents gone, forced into death. His sister kidnapped, and his fiancée, a woman he had once loved, betrayed him in the worst way possible, conspiring with those who sought to tear his family apart. All while he was out on the battlefield, far away from the ones he should have been protecting. He gripped the phone firmly and his body began to shake. “No,” he growled under his breath, a deep fury awakening inside him. "This will not stand."Without hesitation, he turned on his heel and barked orders to his closest and most trusted subordinate, Phoenix, a fierce and brilliant woman who had followed him through fire and war. She had been his most trusted alibi, going through thick and thin together. She immediately sensed the shift in his tone, her expression hardening.“Phoenix,” he commanded, his voice cold and lethal, “shut down the city. Block every road, every exit. No one leaves until I approve of them leaving. They think they can take my family from me? They have made a very big mistake, the worst they can ever think of.” “Yes, sir,” Phoenix replied with a cold determination of her own. She moved quickly, issuing orders to mobilize their forces.Kadmiel’s thoughts raced as he made his way to the helicopter. The vibration and sound of the rotors did little to drown out the memories flooding back. Five years ago, the Four Great Families had set him up. He had been an unassuming heir then, but in one devastating night, his world had been torn apart. They had set up a scandal, using Leah, the woman he had unintentionally wronged, to tarnish his name and image. The news of the affair had spread like wildfire, engulfing him in shame and forcing him into the military, instead of jail. He had lost his freedom that day, but Leah had been kind and forgiving. She had shielded him from total ruin and damnation. The military became his new life. He fought for everything, climbing his way from the depths of despair to become the Supreme General. He had gained a reputation as a man not to be toyed with, his tactical brilliance and relentless personaliyy will earned him fear and respect. But now, none of that mattered. The Four Great Families had come back to finish the job. They had destroyed his parents, stripped them of their dignity, and now they wanted his sister too. Kelita was the last family he had left, and Kadmiel knew what would happen if he did not get to her in time. They would sell her like a commodity in the local market. His blood boiled at the thought. “Kadmiel,” Phoenix’s voice called out to him, snapping him out of his thoughts. “We’ve been able to track down the exact location of your sister. She’s at the Auction House. They’re selling her tonight. “The room fell silent for a while. The words hit him like a train. Kadmiel’s grip on the controls tightened, a pulse of rage coursing through him. “Mobilize the troops," he said darkly and meekly, his voice barely a whisper but filled with a deadly promise. “We're storming that place as soon as possible. They will regret ever laying a hand on my family.”Phoenix did not hesitate. "Yes, sir. Forces are gathering now." As they raced toward the Auction House, Kadmiel’s mind was already plotting, he was already calculating how he would make the Four Great Families pay for everything they had done to him, from the past, to the present and if they would try anything in the future. Every wrong would be avenged. Every life they took, every betrayal, would be met with a thousand times more fury. The Auction House came into view, an old, encrypted building reeking of corruption and despair. The ground around it was alive with the movement of Kadmiel's military force, ready to break through the doors and tear the place apart brick by brick if necessary. But just as they prepared for the assault, Phoenix’s voice crackled over the line again. This time, there was an edge to it, something unfamiliar that Kadmiel had not heard before, hesitation. “Sir," she said slowly, “there’s something you need to know. Your sister... she’s not the only one there."Kadmiel frowned, his pulse quickening. "What do you mean?" Kadmiel replied. "They're expecting you," Phoenix replied, the tension evident in her voice. "This auction, it’s a trap. They want you to come." For a moment, Kadmiel was silent, the gravity of her words sinking in. A trap? Of course, it would be. The Four Great Families would not let him walk in and take his sister back without a fight. But then, Kadmiel’s lips curled into a dark smile. If they wanted a fight, they would get one. He was no longer the man they could toy with five years ago. He was a different beast now, a man forged in war and vengeance. "Let them come," Kadmiel muttered under his breath. "I’m ready for them."And with that, he signaled for the assault to begin, his heart pounding as the first strike was made. The hunt had just begun.Expand

Fury of the Forgotten A Surprising Face
In the town where Kadmiel now lived, which was not very busy, he had become a bit known by the people in the community. But he never engaged in any discussions with anyone. He had stepped out one evening. He pulled his hood lower as he entered a small convenience store. He had been careful, never speaking more than necessary, trying so hard to never draw attention. But as he picked up a loaf of bread, his eyes caught something, two men talking in hushed voices by the counter.“…The tunnels beneath Sector Twelve… they say it leads somewhere old, a part of the city no one remembers.”Kadmiel'’s hand froze mid-reach.“No one remembers?” the other man scoffed. “If no one remembers, why are we talking about it?”“Because someone has been searching for it. If the rumors are true, there’s a passage that goes deep, deep enough that not even the patrols go down there. It is believed that Kadmiel Watson kept his victims there. Who knows…”Kadmiel forced himself to stay calm. He paid for his it

Fury of the Forgotten An Unlikely Alliance
Later that night, at about 11pm, when the city had gone cold and silent, deep in a secluded warehouse on the city’s outskirts, Cassian met with Rafa Morales.Rafa leaned against a rusted table, watching Cassian talk to him with amusement. "The four great families do not take rejection lightly. They rule the fucking city."Cassian crossed his arms. "Do I look like I care? Exactly!”Rafa chuckled. "So what is the plan?""If Kadmiel is alive, as rumoured, we have to find him, quickly." Cassian said.Rafa raised an eyebrow. "And do what? Kill him?"Cassian shook his head. "Nope. We make the city believe that I took him down. We build trust. Then I rise to power, I do not want to be a puppet like the other governor was, I want to have real control. Then Kadmiel would be a big part of my government, from the shadows obviously, cause they would all believe he is dead.”Rafa smirked. "I like how you think."They shook hands, sealing their alliance.Leah sat in the cell, tracing her fingers ag

Fury of the Forgotten A Dangerous Offer
In the heart of the city, one of the biggest and most expensive estates, once co-owned by Kadmiel Watson, a man stepped out of the shadows. Rafa Morales. A name that carried weight in both the underworld and the political elite. A “fixer” with a past stained in blood, once a trusted ally of the four great families, now a ghost who played by his own rules.Rafa leaned against his SUV, lighting a cigarette as his contact approached. "What do you have for me?" he asked, his voice smooth. The informant, a nervous man in a wrinkled suit, glanced around before speaking. "Word is, some people do not buy the whole 'Kadmiel is dead' story. For all we know, there was a bombing at the court, it could have been orchestrated busy him. They are looking for proof. If you are planning to get involved, tread carefully."Rafa smirked, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "Who says I would be getting involved?"The informant swallowed hard. "You always do."Rafa chuckled. The man had a point. He lived for the g

Fury of the Forgotten Chaos in the courtroom
Leah stared at Sealion, her eyes burning with excessive fury. "You keep underestimating him and I hate you for that," she spat. "You think he has no one loyal person and everyone will leave him. But you forget that the support of one person is just enough.”Sealion chuckled, an eerie sound layered beneath the mechanical distortion. “Loyalty does not exist in this world, all that matters is the big P. “Power” which is eternal."Leah tightened her fists, but before she could speak, the door behind Sealion went open. A masked guard stepped in, dragging a struggling child, her daughter, into the room. Leah’s breath hooked in her throat. "Enough resistance, Leah," the guard growled, pressing the mouth of the gun against the child's head. "Or you will be forced to watch this kid's end next time you try to be funny or disobey, that's clear?”Leah's heart and mind pounded. Her entire body shook, not with fear, but with anger. She wanted to jump at them, to rip the mask off Sealion and claw a
