Chapter 12. Pay back

 Warning: This chapter might contain some violence and abuse.

However, Emily defied his order, glaring at him with a strong determination not to yield to him, while wincing silently in pain. 

This immediately infuriate John, making him to gnash his teeth! 

He couldn't believe Emily would choose over getting hurt than begging him or giving him her body! 

" You foolish bitch!" 

He slammed her against the car door furiously and released his grip from her jaw but hit her face once again, this time more harder!

" Haa!" 

A jolt of sharp pain that electrified Emily's whole body, made her paralysed for some seconds, her eyes gradually becoming red. 

She couldn't imagine the years of John, holding several arms, and now using his strong hand to hit her! 

In the moment of pain and discomfort, she felt a crack in her right jaw, coupled with a metallic taste. This crumbled her, wordless with unexplainable pain.

" Still stubborn?!" 

John sneered at her. Seeing Emily succumbing to the pain, a sense of satisfaction coursed through him. 

Tears pricked at her eyes,  blurring her vision, but she bit the inside of her chick to stop herself from crying. 

In no way would she cry in front of this vicious scumbag! 

Even though, she was hurt and sweating profusely, the look of defiance was still obvious on her face. 

She would rather die than give her body to John! 

Again, John let out an irritated and enraged growl and raised his hand to grab hold of Emily's neck! 

He wanted to snap it right away! 

However, Emily managed to shift her neck and rolled away from her position. 

Swiftly, John threw a blow at her tommy and dragged her back towards him, barking crazily, " Where do you think you are rolling to?! You can't escape from me! Your fate is in my hands! I can determine your death right now!" 

Emily's eyes were blazing with anger! 

She was unwilling, regardless of being at a disadvantage. 

" I don't care!" She snapped, going breathless with ire! 

In the struggle, she scratched John's arm ruthlessly, spitting a mouthful of bloody saliva at his face! 

Exasperated, dark lines appeared on John's forehead, his expression becoming unpleasant. 

" You dare!!!" 

Ignoring the fact that Emily was just a woman, he punched her face without restraint, which resulted into her nose getting swollen and broken!! 

" Hahhhhh!!" 

Emily's resolve was shattered by the hit, losing her strength, and she collapsed weakly on the worn out car seat, which squeaked loudly. 

Blood with some matters flowed out from her nostrils, the pain intensifying and adding more to her previous pain. 

As she tried to took in some hair, she almost suffocated and passed out from the pain....

Staring at her in this state, there was no hint of compassion or pity on John's face, rather he snorted indifferently.

" Aren't you being stubborn anymore?!" 

Just then, his phone rang. Feeling a flash of annoyance, he grumbled before answering the call, especially after seeing the caller ID. 

" Where the hell are you , John?!" 

A familiar voice sounded from the other end of the call. 

It was his master, Victor. 

John rolled his eyes and stepped away from Emily, answering in a low voice, " I am already close. In few minutes, I would be there." 

" Idiot! You better don't try any irresponsible action!" Victor reminded him loudly, as if knowing what he was up to.  " She is the wife of James Donovan! If he gets to you, you are fried!" 

As he heard this, he went into a deep thought, putting on a serious look. 

Indeed, James Donovan was powerful and his identity as the god of war was terrifying. But he was unwilling to let go of his revenge! 

After some seconds, Victor angrily hung up the call.

John knew he was a good loyal friend to Kael during the days they guarded the borders from invaders. Being in the military for a long time, he thought he was going to be the General, however, James snatched his position! 

At least, that was what he believed! 

Ever since then, he had put it in mind to make James pay, and that was why he betrayed Kael. 

He glanced at Emily, feeling disgusted by her bloody sight, and his lips twitched. 

Before John could turn away from her, he heard some thing unbelievable!

" You can satisfy your sexual desires on me," Emily breathed out, her chest rising heavily..

She had just thought about this  and realized the best thing to do. 

His dilated his eyes instantly, and he jerked his head backward. 

" Do you know what you are saying?" 

Emily struggled to nod, the pain in her nose making her to involuntary groan and shut her eyes! 

" Yes but ....on one... condition." 

She affirmed slowly, raising her right middle finger to signify the one condition she wanted. 

" What is it?!" John asked impatiently, moving closer to her. " You better don't disclose this to anyone." 

Although, he was repulsed by her bloody sight, he still couldn't let go of Emily without having a taste of her. 

This way, he would feel more proud of having something that belongs to James..

Emily cast  her gaze downward, taking in labored breathing, and her eyes reddened even more...

" Show me that my daughter is safe, and I will agree to all your demands."
