8. Crime Solver Type System

Edward heard footsteps behind him and turned, weapons at the ready. But it was too late - one of the thugs sneaked up behind him and now pointed his own gun directly at Edward's head.

Thinking quickly, Edward grabbed the man's gun and released the magazine, Edward spun quickly to the right and grabbed the man's neck then threw him down.

Meanwhile, footsteps were also starting to sound from different directions indicating more people were coming towards him. Edward took a different gun then ran up to the 3rd floor.

Edward stopped on the third floor and waited for the people to come up, a moment later one person came into view, Edward swiftly pointed his gun at the people on the stairs and then started shooting.

Two people were hit by gunshots and immediately fell down, while the other three stepped back to dodge and fired back afterward. Edward ducked to avoid the shots.

Edward replaced his gun again and ran to the left because he saw the people starting to come in a group.

Edward hid in one of the rooms, while those people started looking for Edward, some went up to the fourth floor and some checked every room.

The people checked one by one until when they were about to check the room where Edward was hiding, Edward slammed the door causing one of the people to fall, Edward rolled to the right while shooting one of the people's legs.

There were only three people left on the third floor and Edward jumped onto a nearby metal chair and used it as a shield for the bullets the people were shooting.

Edward threw a chair as he jumped at one of the men then pushed him away then shot another.

Due to the close range, the rest of the men used their rifles towards the back of Edward's neck, Edward was pushed forward but managed to overcome it by taking the same chair and hitting the man in the shins.

The man fell down in agony and then Edward stepped on the hand holding the gun and took over the rifle.

Because of the commotion that was happening there, people who were on the top floor started to come down, Edward realized that and chose to hide beside a flower vase that was big enough to make it difficult to see with the aim of carrying out a surprise attack.

A group of five people came into view and Edward quickly shot at the people with the rifle he had picked up earlier.

Three people were immediately shot while the other two used their colleagues' bodies to protect themselves from the shots.

The sound of the empty magazine from Edward's gun.

"Shit!" Edward jumped into the room with shots fired by the two men outside the room.

Edward took the last gun he had left in his pocket and stood by. A moment later the people began to enter the room slowly.

Edward fired but only hit the door, the men came in and pressed the trigger of the rifle, but strangely there were no gunshots and only repeated clicks were heard.

"What!?" The two people were shocked simultaneously.

Edward took advantage of the moment and aimed his gun at the two men. Edward squeezed the trigger and the same result happened, no gunshots and just a clicking sound as if there were no bullets in the gun.

One of the men kicked a chair so that it hit Edward and at the same time another person lunged at Edward and held him down.

Edward was beaten by one of the men and the other held Edward immobile.

"Tch, you killed a lot of our comrades" The guy looked irritated.

"Where are the others, why haven't they arrived yet?" That person was angry at the other person.

Edward was then tied to a chair in the room then one of the men went downstairs to see the others had not arrived.

The person was shocked by dozens of bodies lying on the stairs and around the 2nd floor of the building.

"What is this?" muttered the person.

That person walked over and looked around and saw dozens of comrades lying on the floor.

"He's upstairs...then who did this!?" the person asked.

Suddenly from behind, Louis appeared slicing the man's throat with a knife he held.

Louis's body was covered in blood everywhere, his white hair half red with blood, his clothes and his arms.

"Fuh..." Louis sighed.

"I didn't expect it would end like this…" Louis muttered.

10 minutes earlier.

The 2nd floor where Louis was electrocuted by a large amount of electricity.

"Ugh... what is this? I can't move my body... but I can think straight..." Louis was still sitting on the chair with electric shocks running through his body.

"Gunshots were heard from above, was that Edward?" Louis asked in his mind.

A moment later, the electric energy began to weaken and slowly disappeared, but Louis's body still could not be moved.

Louis fell to the floor as the electric shock stopped. and he fell right on top of the moving liquid that was in the injection.

Louis couldn't move but the liquid slowly hit the wound in Louis's eye.

Louis felt the pain but couldn't scream or move. A moment later the liquid seemed to run out into the gap in the wound in Louis's eye.

And at that moment, the gunshots stopped above and only a thump was heard.

When Louis tried to stand up, he was surprised by the strangeness in his left eye.

Louis repeatedly rubbed his eyes thinking it was just dust, but the longer the image in front of him became clearer.

But before he had time to think, the sound of footsteps could be heard coming from the stairs downstairs.

Hearing that, Louis immediately unlocked the door of the room using the key in Baron Vincent's clothes.

As Louis came out, the men stopped and pointed their guns at Louis.

But when those people wanted to shoot, no bullets came out. it made the people start to be confused and surprised at the same time.

And Louis was even more surprised, not because the guns of the people in front of him didn't come out but what he saw.

In Louis's eyes at this time, he saw the predicted movement of those people and made his head hurt for a moment.

Not waiting long, the men attacked Louis using the tips of their rifles. But on the other hand, Louis dodged their attacks easily.

"All of his attack lines are showing" Louis muttered.

Louis caught the weapon of one of the people and kicked his leg until the person fell, at the same time, he took the knife from the person's waist and started to dodge and injure the people one by one.

After killing four of them, Louis took some distance then waited for the men to attack again. And sure enough, the guys lunged at Louis simultaneously, Louis backed away slowly while holding back and dodging the guys' attacks.

"Everything is clear... the direction of the punch and the gaps I can attack..." Louis muttered smiling at the sight in front of him.

Louis reversed his knife and pointed it backwards and nimbly continuously moved around as if he was toying with those people.

"This brat!?" One of the people jumped at Louis and pointed his fist at Louis.

Louis saw the person's movement and casually spun around to dodge the attack and stab the back of the person's head at the same time.

Blood was pouring out of the man's head and Louis was hit by a splash of blood.

Moments later, Louis was able to subvert dozens of people with only a knife in his hand.

And he again heard the sound of footsteps which this time came from above. Louis stepped back and waited in the room across from the stairs. Soon, someone came down from the third floor. The person looked confused and Louis took advantage of this to sneak up and grab the person's neck from behind. .

But Louis's expression actually looked happy about it, as if he was enjoying the moment when he killed those people's lives.

"This is fun..." Louis muttered with a smile sweeping his face full of blood with the same hand.

"Edwards!" Louis just remembered Edward.

Louis ran upstairs and from above he started to hear someone's chattering.

"I will kill you... but I will make it happen slowly and painfully" The voice sounded threatening.

Louis walked slowly and entered the room without the person noticing.

Louis stabbed the knife into the man's back causing the man to be shocked and fall down as a result.

"Don't worry, you won't die just because of that" Louis said with a straight face.

"You will be useless if you die" Louis continued.

On the other hand, Edward wore an expression of panicked surprise, worried and afraid at the same time as Louis' current condition.

"Oi... what has this kid done!?" Edward muttered looking at Louis.

Edward knew very well that the blood that stuck to almost all of Louis's body was not Louis' blood. Again, the smile on Louis' face made Edward shiver.

"You're battered..." Louis said smiling at Edward.
