Chapter 6: The Minecraft Verse Beckons.

Meanwhile elsewhere at the time, Gloria and Colonel Edeagwu, in their clothes from earlier at the bus stop, were striding sharply down a narrow but tall black walled corridor with fluorescent bulbs snow white in a pattern, illuminating them. Their voices were calm as they talked.

"Yes, so apparently," Colonel looked at Gloria "your boyfriend exposed Segun and now, you are thankfully free from anything that can destroy or ruin your image and courage preventing you from suicidal thoughts."

"Thank you sir." She smiled, watching him. "Also, he's not my boyfriend." She chucked. "Just a friend and my crush who's meant the world to me lately."

"Well, technically, that's great." Colonel's straight face avoided Gloria's as he mildly frowned. Something off, you could say.

On opening an iron door sharply ahead of them, Farouk was revealed standing in a corner, gazing at a poster on a wall of the concrete walled cubicle, with A.C. Gloria's eye brightened, eying the love of her life.

She squealed, rushing to before hugging him tight as Farouk wrapped arms around her, slowly but steadily. He smiled warmly.

At the time, Colonel dropped a medium and stocky ash plastic box on a big metal table in the middle of the room, before he looked up sharply. A gaze at them.

"Eyes up here, kids." Now Colonel's deep voice came so gravely you could feel it too straight. "Segun is out to terrorize another school alongside someone called "The Spawn of The Chosen."

"A descendant of a man from another multiverse who has lived for 300 years, probably longer, after being possessed by a demon after he died for revival and-."

Immediately, his eyes morphed into that of a lizard, glowing green. Covering them, as if having a headache, he bent down hard, as Farouk and Gloria glanced at each other, stepping back with puzzled eyes. Okeee.

Colonel quickly looked back up, shaking his head softly, blinking swiftly. Gloria's face looked worried with her lowered brows. "I've seen those eyes before," she began, pointing, "on a history book. Something about Crimson's looks and everything… any problem?"

"No just-." The boss raised his hand. "Let's bloody get to it."

"Well something doesn't look right though… what are you on about?"

"Just stop."

He then opened the plastic box, making it face Farouk. Inside it were jet black folded clothes, with pockets on the surfaces containing knives, gloves, beads, blades in the shape of roughly carved flint and animal bone, followed by the likes. Supernatural fantasy, you may think.

"This is your gear you'll be using to stop that bastard and Segun, at the university you attend."

His eyes almost glared at him. "Also, you're gonna have to move to The Labyrinth Castle if you can't find him there because our rival gang knows that's where the Secondary Dean of the school is being housed right now!"

Colonel harked, pointing to the ground, while Farouk gazed at him.

The fair skinned man then relaxed his face and frame.

"Forgive me for my arrogance, really. I'm just dealing with being cursed by something rather than anything 'past spiritual'." He air quoted. "About The Spawn of The Chosen, the ancestor's name is Crimson, like you said Gloria."

He inched toward Farouk. "This spawn came to Earth 3 months ago and is the leader of our rival gang."

He motioned at Gloria.

"I have a damn good feeling you can help us by doing some research on how we can find this person and call it a done deal with him or her… whoever it is wants to corrupt and reshape this world for worse with emotional blackmailing as an objective. We will not let that person succeed."

His fist banged the table at this lightly while he focused a stare. "Am I clear?"

"Yes sir." Farouk quickly spoke, with body composed straight, wearing no facial movement. Probably showing zero feeling.

Gloria did the same, looking at the rest. "Something doesn't seem right about this… but hmm, ok."

To be honest, you may suppose some could feel something wasn't just as easy as it would be at the moment.

***

An average heighted male with an athletic build, a smooth oval-shaped face and ash short-cut hair, with bright brown skin and a tattoo of an eye on his left hand approached a tall and mildly sleek and loose black clothes with a hoodie covering every inch of skin under bleachers with evening sunrays cutting through its corners.

The tattooed guy breathed, as if yet to talk. "I'm sorry for your loss, meen."

"Meen, who needs this school?" The other kicked a soda can. "Farouk just messed this up and besides, I can always learn any course on Coursera."

"Yeah, but you can also stop beating yourself up so much, trying to prove anything to anyone but yourself, Segun." The red shirted man sighed. "You're an artist… just like Farouk… you guys would've been better off if you just left him in his place and not brought up the cultist thing to him… look-."

He stood opposite him. "Do you know why your captain, aka, 'my dad' named me Watcher…? It's because he, at least his past self, wanted me to remember that the only people I need to matter in my life are my good friends and family, whom I shouldn't sway in looking out for."

Segun stared at him, who mildly smiled back. "Please take this to heart, Segun."

The all black man then nodded. "Aight blud."

Hopefully, this spells a good ending of his villain arc.

***

At a short and narrow coarsely textured wooden bridge, within a thick moonlit forest in the pitch black darkness Farouk rested the wooden railings of it. He watched Gloria in green and black casual clothes, something alike the same ones Segun wore but with his hood and mask off.

From his raised eyebrows and pouted mouth, Gloria was probably dumping some bad news on him.

"You really screwed up, Farouk." Gloria harked softly, backing away as he strode away. "I told you I don't trust him or any of this but you still don't want to listen, what the heck?!"

She later disappeared down the long dirt path ahead, as he stared. At that moment, footsteps echoed from his right. On turning there, he spied Stella right beside him, wearing a grey tracksuit.

The ebony skinned girl planted a kiss on his lips, slowing the vibe and pace of the moment. Farouk's body remained still with eyes open as Stella closed her for seconds.

From a mile away though, Gloria stood out on another wooden bridge alike, watching with teary eyes, her posture rigid as she held her phone to her ear.

In a flash, she moved back fast, walking away with her back against them, into the lush of the forest.

Could this be it, really? No it can't be a happy ever after gone, right?

Is this why men learn to be alone?***14 YEARS AGO. Within a wide red rocky floored area, as a shore for a massive lake of lava, with a ceiling for the crimson material for a sky, Edgar and Eijiro, now looking a lot younger- a 4 feet tall fair skinned boy with Asian eyes and a much smaller and smoother version of Edgar, sat deep into a cave, far from the lava. Edgar smiled, shaking his out head. "I can't believe you actually here for fun...! Don't even your parents know?""Nah brother, and please lets just enjoy the view." Eijiro looked up. "It's not everytime I get to see a populated place this barren and still looking so cool."Edgar lightly chuckled, with closed eyes. He then sighed. That solemn pouting face. He

Within a sparse area of an oak wood forest, with the rising morning sun around, Farouk stood, facing Chojo from a far distance. The black misty one floated above, staring at the dark-skinned. In a dark, grimy and black cement walled room with a whole face of iron bars interlocked the rest, like a jail cell's Joey, in wounds and rage sat there. The dimly lit alley way where the space was located looked built the same way. Meanwhile Silco, dressed in his same stocky armour from earlier, was outside the room Joey stayed in. He knelt, staring at the guy, while the captive, probably, backed him. Joey then faced him. "Really Silco, are you actually cool with the way I treated you...? It was pretty hard on you." "Yes I am man, because to be honest, you have actually put things in a much more visionary perspective than I have. " Silco's warm smile." Now enough chit chat, there are bigger things out there to delve into."Silco moved forward. "Do you remember your last fight with Aquarius, or probably your first, too?"
