CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVEHe fell to his knees and groaned in pain, but the man chuckled loudly, with an evident nod that showed that he was satisfied with what he was seeing.“Don’t fight it, Riley. Allow it to do its work.”While he remained on his knees, Riley tried to get himself to vomit the pill, but it seemed like it had already melted in his stomach, and there was no way he was going to let it out. Soon, he felt his heart giving up on him after a brief excruciating pain which made him hold his chest with his right hand, letting go of the phone in his hand.He crawled to the right corner of the room, but that wasn’t helping in any way, as it helped the pill to drain the remaining strength he had from his body.“What is happening to me?” He questioned with a shaky tone, while he tried to get to the wall, but halfway toward it, he collapsed and sprawled on the floor.The man on the screen remained silent for a few seconds, looking at Riley as he remained on the floor from his own end

CHAPTER THIRTY-FOURThe man was silent for a few seconds, but the look on Riley’s face showed great determination, and he wasn’t ready to give it up, even though he felt a bit anxious about it.“Very well, if you insist.” The man said, and Riley widened his eyes staring at the screen in high anticipation.A few seconds later, the screen went blank instantly, and Riley became really anxious, hoping hadn’t ruined everything for himself.His face remained really anxious until after a few seconds when the screen came back on in a flash and made an electric sound. Riley gasped instantly as soon as he saw the sight on the screen.“Mum? Mum!” He said loudly, but the poor woman couldn’t hear him, as she struggled to free herself from the tight grip of the chains around her hands, but her efforts were futile. CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE“Ok,”Riley turned almost immediately to his left and looked to see if he was going to see anyone, but there was only silence and darkness before him, and that made him really anxious. There were a lot of questions in his mind, but he dared not to say any words for fear of losing any of his family members.“Now, walk!” The caller ordered, and he obeyed without hesitation, still scouring the entire place, to be sure that he wasn’t walking into a trap.He had taken a few steps when he saw a door concealed in a corner in front of him, and that made him increase the speed of his steps, as he hoped to see his family, or the person responsible for their kidnap.He walked through the door after opening it slowly, but the room was very dark, and he could only see his shadow on the wall beside him. He looked around him, trying to see if he could see anything, but he only met darkness.Suddenly, the entire room was lit up, and an electrical sound hummed in the air, causing
