It had taken several seconds for Tama to realized, that his reaction to the bikers were taken by his brother as if his phone calls had ever end. Ando was able to hear it from the other side of the phone.

"Oh! I am sorry, bro!" Tama apologized. "Some of the bikers were bypassing me."

"Are you walking as a pedestrian!?" From the voice, its clear that Ando was getting worried. "Oh God, I shouldn't call you in the middle of the road walking."

"That's okay bro, it's neither of our faults. We should never worry if the authorities actually work to regulate those bike gangs."

That single catastrophic event triggered Tama to many things at once. It broke his motorbike to the point it became a junk, and now he had to walk around since his savings have yet reached the minimum of second-hand motorbike price.

Not to mention, death would approach Tama if he isn't lucky. Or if he doesn't die, he could be in a coma, with weekly hospital bills haunting both Ando and Mother. Another scenario that is haunting is him end up being disabled in the suburb that is far from disability friendly, infrastructure or social wise, so it needs extensive care and expenses. All those scenarios are nightmares for the family of three with low to average income in an area where job scarcity is some issue that won't ever be resolved, unless you go outside like Ando did.

If some magic, giant, green eyed owl never saved Tama, he couldn't imagine how life after that are like, all things he experienced now is the best option or thing over all worries above. He couldn't be grateful enough of its appearance.

"I almost died because of those activities, shouldn't it be worrisome? They're the reason for my morning crash!" Tama told. "Why cant those delinquents use their potential for something else that's much more contributing to the society, than wasting it on motor gangs?"

Ando didn't do any single interruption, and listened to his younger sibling carefully.

"I don't know where and who I should tell, but certainly, I don't feel safe here. It's the feeling of uncertainity i dislike," Tama continued his expression. "All of the friends were hard to be contacted post high school graduation, so I'm sorry I'm spilling all this out to you. I don't know who else I should pour all my frustration."

"I understand all that," the only thing Ando can ever reply. "You will get past through it."

Although that's a short response, Tama smiled after. "Thanks."

"I'll make sure you are in your home, and not walking," Ando joked.

Instead of keeping the conversation with that topic flow, Tama said a different thing. "Am i disturbing your intern with this... possibly, long call?"

"Not at all. It's my break day. I intended to ask my little brother for conditions days after that accident," "Bye, take care!"

"You too, brother."

The phone call finally came to its end.

Tama legs continued to move into the house. He then threw himself on the two decade old rusty couch, and sighed.

Deep down, Tama really wanted to ask many people who know about this, to gain as much information as possible, negative or positive perceptions alike. But consider the negativity and erosion to believe in his mother's generations, he won't get much about it.

Tama hoped the negative part wasn't true in the first place, because it felt like a burden. He doesn't have myopia, so he can't verify the truthfulness of negative stigma on the green eyes he might have every time he follows what the owl said.

I need to discover a more efficient way to use this energy boost, he thought. I want a power boost that makes me restless to work 24 hours a day. That way, I won't be viewed as a jobless young man.

Tama definitely refused to go to a different world every time he needed it, it's inefficient and also possibly attracting dangers that are very unknown to him. Risky, and no way to calculate it.

Three spins. Only three spins. He just realized he never spins it less than three bc he thought it doesn't have any effect. He won't do it more than three because it might be risky.

But what if it affects within less than three spins, he just has yet to know it?

Let's try it.

Once. Not happen.

Twice.

He didn't dare to try third because he refused to enter a different world, so he stopped.

Tama went to the window. The sky is still blue. He was still in the human world. What a relief.

To verify it, Tama needs to look at his own eyes. In the mirror of the hallway.

Green eyes were present, though only slightly, with green tint.

"Oh!" He screamed in excitement. "My eyes are glowing!"

It's not only Tama's voice that went full excitement, his whole body felt that he entered the sudden sugar rush. He wanted to go outside again, offering many people help, every time he met them.

He did. At least, on his neighbors or nearby stores. He got tipped every time he worked. Tama done so much work that he forgot it's almost 8 PM.

It only made them look at the clock numbers when his mom rang to him.

"Tama, you have yet go home? What the heck are you doing? You join some shady organizations or gangs!?"

"No, Mom! I help clean some of the neighboring houses or lifting. I'll be home soon, you'll see!"

Tama ran into the house in a hurry and navigated through the suburb without road lights. It was one of the few times when he saw how dark the suburbs are at night.

Under the dark, he almost collided with a black car when he crossed the road. It was a huge relief nothing again happened to him, but the driver opened his driver window, that Tama can hear what he was shouting about.

"Whoa!" The car driver freaked out. "What was that!? That person's eyes are glowing!?"

He freaked out. "It is something like..."Tama quickly made an excuse before the man continued to speak. "I am wearing contact lenses.""Pretty unusual for the contacts to have built-in glow-in-the-dark features," the man commented.Tama didn't bother to reply, he doesn't want to engage more in the conversation. The boy acted like he didn’t know the myth at all, like most of the youth in the suburb. Thus, the man continued to drive his car. What was that about? Tama wondered. So someone can see my eyes? Is that bad news or not?All the judgement would be made depending on the appearance of the stigma, wherever the inhabitants believe it or not. The last two generations don't seem to believe it, so he is safe. If anything, it would only be an outlier fashion style. When Tama arrived home, he go

"Oh..." Tama got mesmerized by the sightings of his surroundings, his eyes widened.Previously, there were no animals beyond the small insects or rats that came from the gutter. But this time, he witnessed various kinds of animals, which he was only able to see through the photos.A white horse, a tree leopard, a pangolin, a mountain goat, a swallow. Tama was extremely nervous. How would he reply?“I was lucky enough that I am still conscious, though,” he then answered.“Oh, I see,” Yana responded, flat. “Great that you turned up fine though. It’s a miracle.”“Haha, right,” that’s all Tama can say. He was highly nervous, because he can’t explain it. Not to mention, the thought that he might be in this “Green Eye” spiral myth that is not viewed good by the villagers. “I don’t need to pay hospital bills or its complicated administration.” Yana only hummed. “Well knowing this suburb economical dependence and condition… It’s better not being fractured at all. It’s already complicated in bureocracy, I won’t think anything beyond that.”Tama didn’t respond, and keep working to clean the glass. Actually, its more like Tama doesn’t know what kind of reply to cut the awkward, nervous conversation he had, so he could continue working instead.“I have noticed you have yet took a drink after few hours,” Yana commented. “Aren’t you thirsty?”
