WHY JAMES

Today was not a good day. I wanted to come home and relax, but no, James and Nick were here in my home arguing like a bunch of kids.

Why couldn't they take the drama somewhere else? Why, out of all days? I sit in my chair and stare at them like two insane people that got married.

"What are you two doing in my house?" I asked

"I came here to warn you that Nick was here but couldn't find you or Jessy," James said

"Nick, what do you want from me?" I asked

"I want you," Nick said

"Not happening," Hope said

"Would you rather have a man that doesn't want you to know about Jasper and why he disappeared?" Nick asked

"No, I want to take a hot bath and relax, but I can't now?" Hope asked

I went to my room to change out of my work clothes and put on my comfortable clothes.

Then I went into the living room and Nick and James were still arguing about the past.

I turned on my TV and told them to shut the hell up, so I can watch my shows in peace.

"Hope?" James said

"Now is not the time to watch TV," James said

"This is my home, not yours and I can do whatever the hell I want to do in my home," Hope said

"Now would you excuse me, I have to cook dinner for my family

Jessy, we have company coming." Hope said

"Hope where's Jessy anyway, I haven't seen her in a while?" James asked

"She's at work taking care of the books and everything. Since her boss got sent to Italy to save his twin brother because of someone named James Jenkins," Hope said

"Now tell me why you would do that to them, James?" Hope asked

"I did it for her good. She doesn't know Dean as I do." James said

"Of course, she doesn't know him as you do. Because you won’t let them have the chance to get to know each other better," Hope said

"Today, Dean is coming home to Jessy. She's very happy about him coming home, so she can tell him about the babies." Hope said

“Dean is not allowed to come to this house, Jessy will get rid of the babies,” James said

“You can't do that to her, and I love my grandkids and I won't let you mess with their family. James, leave them alone, I mean it.” Hope said

“You know what, fine, I leave them alone. But remember the mafia is after Jessy all the time I'm trying to protect her,” James said

“I know this, James, but she's happy with her family and Dean takes good care of them and keeps them safe. Let her live her life before it gets taken, James.” Hope said

“I try my best to let Jessy be happy with Dean but one fuck up I'm doing it my way, Hope,” James said

“I understand James, but this will make them happier. And it will make me happy because I get to spend time with my grandkids,” Hope said

“I would like to be a part of their lives. Hope, I know I'm not the best parent here, but I want what's best for my family too,” James said

“I know, James, but it's not up to me. It's up to Jessy and Dean, after what you pulled, they will.” Hope said

“I will make things right again and bring David back to the state. I will deal with the mafia that is coming for Jessy and Dean.” James said

“I hope you can pull it off because they've been through enough,” Hope said

“I can, I make some calls now while I'm here and get his brother back safe, and he won't have to leave anymore," James said

“I know you will do your best to make things right with them, but it will take time,” Hope said

“I don't want Jessy to end up like us, Hope,” James said

“HELLO, EVERYONE, WE'RE BACK!!” Dean yelled

It was so quiet, like nobody was home. That was weird to me and Jessy, we decided to wait in the living room until everyone was there.

But what surprised us was that we saw James and Hope coming down the stairs together.

“What's going on here, mom?” Jessy asked

“I and your dad were talking to clear things up,” Hope said

I went to my room and let it sink into my head what I had seen. I hope he doesn't screw up this time and leaves us. I almost lost my mom because he left us and got married again.

I don't like to think, but when you see your mom go through hell and back over a man, she loved, it tends to kill you inside.

At some point, you get used to the pain that I caused by the ones you love. I went for a walk to get air when I felt two arms wrapped around me.

“Hey baby you, okay?” Dean asked

“Yeah, I'm okay, I'm worried he might leave us again,” Jessy said

“I know, baby, he had a change of heart?” Dean said

“I don't know love; I hope he did,” Jessy said

We went back home, and I'm still getting used to seeing my mom and dad together in one room. Not arguing about me and Dean being together.

I hope he didn't hurt us again, one time was enough for us. Dean and I went to our room and talked for a while, since it was his first day home.

I told him about the kids and what we were having. He was so happy that he had happy tears in his eyes. We are going to be a happy family and drama-free family and live a happy life without the Mafia after us. But of course nobody will leave us alone and they will always be after me.
