[My second story; ”Michael Scofield Has Returned!”, has been on hot cake! Do check it out and get completely hooked] Julian, a penniless nobody from England— for over five years lived in a certain part of the world that believes being poor is an absolute sin. Living with his family in-laws for over four years and losing his job as a part-time waiter of five years, Julian was stunned by an instant divorce from his wife, which changed the course of events. Julian turned the stumbling blocks thrown at him into stepping stones to become victorious and make his oppressors bow to him and swallow their words at his feet when they realized he had always had their fates in his hands. The story of Julian explicitly unleashed the journey of a weak underestimated son-in-law who clinged back to his roots when all wrongly presumed that life was done with him... Unknown to all, fate hasn't begun with him yet…

    CHAPTER 1
"Dammit!" "Julian, you're damn fired!" Supervisor Kevin's voice blared out, his eyes instantly turned red in anger. "Leave my office at once!" In Julian's wildest thoughts, the last event he could imagine on that fateful day was losing his only source of livelihood in split seconds. Could he be hallucinating? Or one of those frightening nightmares? "Julian?" His boss's words resounded to his drifted mind and he jolted him back to his messed-up reality. "Poor idiot, don't allow me to repeat my warnings, get the hell outta my office this minute." Julian's heart pounded vehemently like one of the athletes representing in a marathon race. He had so much to say but was dumbstruck. His boss's words fell on his anticipatory eardrum like an alarm. He knew he had to pour out his heart but lacked the right words to employ in such a difficult scenario. "Sir-Sir … please," he finally managed to spill out after minutes of staring at his boss like a moron. "Please don't relieve me of my dutie

    CHAPTER 2
Julian stared through the bar session for the last time and inhaled heavily with many thoughts in his mind.Within seconds he found himself at the bar entrance with no option but to head home with bad news to meet his wife and his "In-laws."Thunderstorms echoed, and splashes of thunder lit all over the streets. Without further words, Julian knew it was about to be a heavy downpour of rain. But that wouldn't stop him from heading to his family in-laws' residence.Julian was making attempts to flag down any approaching cab heading his way.Suddenly a voice broke out from behind. "Julian?" The voice sounded familiar but he needed to ensure he wasn't mistaken."Julian?" Lilian hastily spilled out, breathing heavily, from how she was gasping, it was crystal clear she had been racing to catch up with him."I just resumed work and learned you got sacked," she said, her hand stretched on his embodied shoulders. "I'm so sorry that Mr. Kevin had to do such a thing to you after half a decade of

    CHAPTER 3
"Julian don't waste my time," the beautifully endowed Rihanna without further ado, parted his lips with her firm demand. "Sign the damn divorce papers."Julian presumed that his day had been ruined the minute he lost his job, little did he know that was the tip of the iceberg. More was unfolding and he never thought of his wife divorcing him in such an unbelievable gesture."Sign the damn paper poor man!" His family in-laws chorused. Sharon and Gerald have been on the edge of their seats waiting for Julian to do the needful and fulfill their heart desires. Did you wonder otherwise?Julian let out a deep breath and quickly stared at his in-laws in building anger. "I'd appreciate it if you two mind your choice of words towards me and let me focus on my wife," he calmly requested, his fists clenched.Mrs Dianne tutted and clicked her tongue in ridicule. "Huh? Coming from a penniless dude we've been sheltering for about four years now? Shameless!"Julian wasn't in the mood to banter words

    CHAPTER 4
There was an abrupt jubilation occurring amongst Rihanna, Mrs. Dianne, and George. Julian didn't need to be told that he had been a barrier for so long; a curse that needed to be terminated as they couldn't bear the sight of him being a husband. "I wish you the very best in life," Julian managed to spill out to his gorgeous wife, taking his left direction towards the stairs and a voice interrupted his movements. "Poor Julian, I need to keep you apprised of the latest," his ex-wife calmly mouthed sardonically. Rihanna cleared her throat and a certain fully bearded man, about 5'9" tall, with blue-almond eyes, in his early Forties ambled through the stairs from their former matrimonial room. His shoulders up, chest out, his face somewhat stiffened which echoed "No nonsense would be tolerated." Julian's eyes stood agape, pupils widened, gazing at the strange man in disbelief. It all seemed like one of those series he saw in Hollywood. Rihanna winked at the strange man who blessed her f

    CHAPTER 5
Julian found himself trashed heavily by the heavy outpour, he quickly left his ex-in-law's gate and ran towards his left wing under the rain. Julian had once perceived that his wife could someday demand a divorce but he didn't expect them to throw him off to the streets like they did. He had raced for several miles, his heart pounding out to his chest, and his heartbeat echoed, "Julian you're strong, don't let this pull you down," those words Lilian firmly said to him kept resounding in his head as he kept sprinting. He raced across the roadside and suddenly paused to catch his breath. 'I've got to do this,' he muttered to himself. 'Julian, you've got to do this,' he reiterated to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. Luckily, an approaching cab was heading towards his standpoint despite the rain he flagged it and headed towards a location where his instincts whispered to him. The cab personnel took him right to his destination, and he gently alighted and paid off with the l

    CHAPTER 6
Marshall chuckled sheepishly and hugged his son so deeply to himself. His father signaled his senior butler who took out a card from his pocket and handed it over to him."Young master, this card is credited with $500,000,000, please manage it for a start," he said respectfully, his head dressed with a bow. "At the garage; please choose any two Range Rovers Sports of your choice, and it will be all yours, Young Master." Julian Roland chuckled deeply in excitement, he could have left behind wealth to survive on his own but he never knew for once that his billionaire father would accept him back and promptly restore him to a billionaire. He was anticipating some measures of punishment after living for five years with a wrong notion of an untold decision regarding his sick mother's death."And that's not all my son," he said, cutting short his son's conflicting thoughts. "Right from this moment you'll become the new Chief Operating Officer of Honeywell Real Estate Ltd."Julian giggled u

    CHAPTER 7
A certain advanced man wearing a red stylish suit alighted from the car and ambled into the hall. Without further words, it wouldn't be wrong to assume that red is billionaire Marshall Roland's favorite color. The atmosphere was triggered into a state of awe. No one knew him and never expected the next COO to be as advanced in age as the man standing befall them."Good morning—Sir…" all the staff sputtered, struggling to break their voices into stable words. Silent indistinct mutterings unfolded in the atmosphere.Lord Marshall calmly cleared his throat and inhaled calmly. "Can I have your attention," his face switched from jovial to serious expression? "Many of y'all here don't know me and I duly understand.""Many of you haven't known much about Honeywell except the intricacies behind your designated duties. But in terms of its root, many have no single idea."The anticipation amidst the staff arose deeply, their hearts yawning to grasp all the necessary information, their eardrums

    CHAPTER 8
Mr. Wilfred ambled towards the stage, his heart pounding to his chest, his hands sweaty, his eyes barely above a downward state as he couldn't fully stare into the eyes of the billionaire man who lost his wife to him within 12 hours. The same despised man is a billionaire and has successfully replaced him in his father's company. Billionaire Julian nodded his head in contempt and brought out a document from one of his files on the table. "Mr. Wilfred you're hereby relieved of your duties and your services are no longer needed in our company." his words blurted out. "You made attempts to embezzle a significant amount of money from the last handled business through the forgery of the CEO's signature," his words were stern and explicit. The staff produced an indistinct chatter in shock at what was unfolding. They were thrilled by how fast he was able to deduce Mr. Wilfred's actions and how sound-minded he was in his managerial duties. Mr. Wilfred shivered in shock, he quickly glance

    CHAPTER 9
She staggered the more in disbelief, she glued her eyes more to her ex-husband; the same man she divorced within twelve hours ago. Rihanna glanced through the hall in shock, all eyes gazing back at her like an artist who's called on stage to perform. She never in her wildest fantasies ever imagined that such a day would ever come. Rihanna never knew that the man behind her success at the first instance was the man she falsely assumed was poor. That same man was the one who allowed her to work in a real estate firm that set her life running. She finally got to know that she wouldn't have been where she is if not for her ex-husband. Julian drew a deep breath in slight relief. "Having checked your input ever since you were promoted to the position of Assistant Accountant a year ago. You haven't proven your worth. Hence, I am…" He was about to complete his words when Rihanna quickly interrupted his speech. "Sir-Sir, please Sir, don't sack me, Sir," she quickly said in a most terrify

    CHAPTER 10
Wilfred took a closer glance at him, all these whilst he had been engrossed in saddened emotion, his sight had been on himself. But discovering how eager Patrick had been to obtain the full course of events, he should as well let the dog out of the cage. His eyes fixed on Partrick's face. "His name is Julian Mars…" he was almost completing his statement when Patrick interrupted him. "...Wait… just hold it there," raising his eyebrows after swallowing a little hard in confusion. "You mean Julian Mars Roland, his biological son?" Instantly his words escaped from his mouth, Wifred's eyes widened in disbelief, and he cleared his throat for a second time in shock. "Sir?... Seems like you know that fool?" Realization quickly struck Mr. Patrick exhaled deeply, switched his eyes toward his left wing, and fell into deep thought. Patrick's two feet kept thudding against the car carpet. He breathed heavily, sighed, and sneered deeply in utmost displeasure. His eye expression quickly switche
