Ego walked around the weapon hall inspecting all the weapons looking for one that would suit him best. Just then, a system notification popped up in his line of sight.

Inspection(Level 1): Grants host the ability to evaluate the effectiveness, enchantments, and overall condition of a weapon.

Ego was so delighted to see that his system was trying to help him.

"Wow!" Ego lamented. "But what price is this going to cost? And how do I even use this skill?" he murmured.

[Just call out Activate with the name of the skill you would like to use]

"Ok! That would be easy. Activate Inspection," he called out.

[Inspection has been activated].

He walked up to one of the random weapons on the wall and used the inspection skill on an axe.

With disappointment, Ego walked up to another weapon in the room, this time it was a giant sword.

'I want a weapon that will make a statement just by the mere sight of it, I think this one will do just fine,' Ego thought before using the inspection skill again.

Ego's face fell with disappointment as he trudged over to yet another weapon, desperately hoping for a different outcome.

However, his efforts yielded the same frustrating result. He painstakingly tested seven different weapons at his disposal - swords, bows and arrows, axes, and even guns - but none of them seemed to complement with him. The clock was ticking, and the teacher's allotted thirty minutes were quickly dwindling away.

Engrossed in his quest for a suitable weapon, Ego stumbled upon an ancient, weathered box. Despite its worn appearance, he dismissed it as insignificant and unimportant. Deciding to overlook its potential, he was about to bypass the box when suddenly, an unexpected sight caught his eye.

Another system screen materialized in front of him, this time displaying an arrow-like indicator pointing directly towards the enigmatic box.

"What is this? That is just a box, or does this system want a box as a weapon?" Ego murmured.

The arrow continued pointing at the box still Ego walked up to it and tried to open the box.

He tried so many times to open the box but it seemed to be tightly closed. He looked around the box to see if there was any lock but he couldn't find one.

After so many attempts he decided to leave it but as he wanted to leave the system interface appeared again displaying the same arrow.

"Ok let's try this one last time," Ego murmured to himself.

As he tried it one last time, the box opened immediately, and inside there were two swords.

Ego had chosen a blade, the Galeblade. It possesses a slender and graceful form, characterized by its elongated blade that stretches out to an impressive length.

Crafted from a rare alloy of tempered steel, it is designed to be exceptionally light in weight, ensuring swift and effortless maneuverability in the hands of its wielder. This unique alloy grants the blade exceptional resilience and durability, capable of withstanding rigorous battles without losing its keen edge.

Just by mere sight, one could understand its sharpness, it would slice through the thickest of armors and sever limbs with little effort. Its razor-sharp edge is achieved through masterful craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail during the forging process

Just as he was busy with the system inspection, he heard a voice from behind him.

-"Galeblade! Nice choice but the question is, Do you have what it takes to make one for yourself?" the voice inquired and Jacob quickly turned around to see who was speaking and to his greatest surprise it was their teacher Master Hong.

"The Galeblade is a legendary sword renowned for its extraordinary craftsmanship and remarkable characteristics, and most especially the type of beast its crystal is gotten from," the bald man added.

"It is a weapon of elegance and finesse, embodying the perfect balance between beauty and deadly precision."

"Sorry sir! I didn't know any of that, I will return and just look for some other weapon," Jacob said.

"No! There is no problem and I think it will fit you just fine," the bald man replied and immediately addressed the class.

"Alright everyone gather around it's time. whatever weapon you are holding right now will be your weapon for the next... I don't know but for as long as it might take you to win the tournament, so choose wisely."

"I believe we have all been taught on how to use all the different kinds of weapons, so let's get to the last part of our training."
