Seeing eleven spirits with the same strength as an eighth-class warrior, Tian Chen swallowed hard. He hadn’t expected that just after defeating one spirit tiger, the others would come in greater numbers. But he couldn’t retreat; he had to face those eleven spirits. Four spirit tigers, seven spirit wolves. As he drew his sword, there was surprise in his eyes. He felt his sword, which normally felt heavy. Now, it became lighter. "It seems the effect of spirit beast meat can really increase my physical body. If I can cook them all, maybe I can break through to even higher strength!" Eleven pairs of eyes glowed red, radiating hatred and murderous intent.

Four spirit tigers stood proudly, their bodies as large as war horses, with black fur and glittering gold stripes. Sharp fangs protruded from their mouths, ready to rip flesh with a single bite. On the other side, seven spirit wolves snarled, their lean bodies radiating incredible speed and agility. Tian Chen drew his black sword, the golden dragon carvings on its blade gleaming under the moonlight. His breath was steady, his eyes focused. He knew there was no other choice but to defeat them all.

Without warning, one of the spirit tigers charged! With extraordinary speed, the tiger leaped into the air, its claws shooting towards him. CLANG! Tian Chen didn’t want to lose, so he immediately used the body-lightening technique. Then he jumped into the air to parry the claw with his sword, sparks flared in the air from the collision of the sword and the tiger's claw.

But before he could retaliate, attacks came from all directions. Two spirit wolves jumped from behind, their fangs aimed at his neck! SWIISH! With a quick turn, Tian slashed sideways. His sword shot out like lightning—the two wolf bodies were split instantly! But that small victory didn't last long. A spirit tiger leaped high, its claws descended like a meteorite! Tian Chen jumped back, but as his feet touched the ground, a wolf attacked him from below!

DUAGH!

His body slammed hard into the ground, but he couldn’t stop. Quickly, he plunged his sword into the ground and leaped back into the air. “Too many… I have to split them!” he muttered. Using his full speed, Tian Chen ran towards the forest, luring some of the spirits to chase him. Three spirit wolves and one spirit tiger were lured! They shot after him among the trees.

As they started to close in, Tian Chen jumped onto a tree, then swooped down with a vertical slash! ZRAASSHH! The black sword shimmered, and one spirit wolf was split in two!

But the spirit tiger that followed didn't stay still. It charged with its gleaming claws! GRAAAAHH! Tian Chen almost got caught, but he spun in the air and plunged his sword into the spirit’s head! CRACK! Black blood spurted, and the large body collapsed. Now there were seven left.

Tian Chen returned to the open plain, and the remaining spirits were waiting for him. “Enough playing around. Now it’s your turn to fall!” shouted Tian Chen.

The remaining spirits attacked simultaneously! Tian Chen focused his internal energy, his sword began to glow with a golden aura. CLANG! SWOOSH! BOOM! The blade of his sword danced in the air, slashing every attack that came. He parried the tiger’s claws, stabbed the wolf’s chest, and jumped onto the head of one of the spirits, then slashed it from above!

One by one, they fell. Finally, only the largest spirit tiger remained. The spirit roared, the earth shook violently. It charged with full force!

Tian Chen closed his eyes for a moment, then shot forward. His sword shone brighter. With one final slash… SLAAASH! The spirit tiger’s body split in two.

Tian Chen stood in the middle of the plain, gasping for breath, his body full of wounds, but his eyes still burned with fighting spirit. He had defeated eleven spirits… and proven that he was worthy of surviving on Mount Sumul!

The sky above Mount Sumul looked dark, illuminated only by the pale moonlight. After a fierce battle that shook the earth, Tian Chen stood in the middle of the battle-scarred land. His body was full of wounds, but his eyes still burned with spirit. Eleven spirits had fallen at his hands—four spirit tigers and seven spirit wolves. Their bodies now lay on the ground, giving off the smell of blood mixed with dense natural energy. Tian Chen took a deep breath, then lit a fire and started to prepare their meat.

He knew, spirit beasts weren't like ordinary creatures—their meat was full of wild energy, and if not controlled properly, it could cause destruction within the body. But he didn’t hesitate. If he wanted to become stronger, he had to swallow this risk!

The fire burned in the middle of the plain. Pieces of spirit beast meat began to roast, and the aroma wafted into the air, bringing a different sensation from ordinary meat. Every strand of meat contained dense energy, pulsating like living creatures.

Tian Chen started biting into the first piece. Then, the second piece, he ate the tiger and wolf meat directly, instantly his body twitched! Wild energy exploded within his body like a volcano! Wild Energy Raging! His blood boiled, his bones felt like they were about to explode! The energy from the spirit beast meat wasn’t just nutrition, but the raging power of wild beasts trying to take over his body!

BOOOM!

Waves of energy exploded out of his body, destroying the rocks around him! Strong winds swirled around him, forming a vortex of energy that caused the ground to shake. His blood vessels expanded, his muscles trembled, and his heart beat like thunder. As if there were thousands of tigers and wolves roaring inside him, trying to take over his body! But Tian Chen wasn’t an ordinary person! With high awareness and control, he immediately sat cross-legged. His eyes were closed, his breath slowed, and his internal energy control technique began to work. “I... must… subdue it!”

He focused his mind, guiding the wild energy through every meridian point in his body. Slowly, the energy began to wane. The wild waves that had previously destroyed his body now turned into a steady flow of energy.

The energy from the spirit tiger strengthened his physique, making his muscles denser and his strength increase many times over! The energy from the spirit wolf merged with his agility, making his movements faster and sharper than before! The meat wasn’t just food—it was a resource that made him surpass the limits of ordinary humans!

Hours passed. The fire had gone out, and Tian Chen was still sitting cross-legged. But his body was now different. His skin was more radiant, his eyes were sharper, and his aura was much stronger than before. When he opened his eyes, the dark sky trembled for a moment.

Tian Chen clenched his fist—he felt incredible power flowing through his body! “I didn’t expect that the spirit beast meat refinement technique would be so useful in this place. I thought it was just an ordinary technique, but the reality far exceeded my expectations.” Tian Chen didn’t know that his actions were constantly being watched by his Mother from the sky.

Healer Siyo smiled slightly. “It seems I don’t have to worry about him, Chen’er can take care of himself.” Healer Siyo’s smile suddenly disappeared, her face felt heavy, and a sad expression was very clear. She imagined that if his Father were there, Tian Chen wouldn’t have to struggle like this. After all, a Mother’s worry for her son is far beyond a Father’s.

"What if I refuse?"The man's grin widened, but his eyes glinted cruelly. "If you refuse, then we'll have to bring your body!"His words were met with nods from the other three men.
