The space was quiet, with dim lights making any sound or object appear conspicuous. A nurse pushed a trolley down the hospital corridor. In the soft glow of the hallway lights, the nurse’s face appeared ghostly, her steps gentle but steady, emphasizing her purpose as she pushed the trolley ahead. The gentle light highlighted delicate lines on her face.

Her bright white uniform almost blended into the dim hallway. As she walked, her eyes darted around, as if alert and wary of something. She moved faster, her initially steady steps becoming more chaotic. Finally, she stopped in front of room 201.

Her gaze flicked up to the sign above the door, then she glanced around the corridor once more. After confirming no one was present, she pushed the door open and stepped inside. This was the VIP ICU room, occupied by only one patient, Justin.
