“What do you mean?" Hendrix asked as he looked back at his son. Evans shrugged his shoulders, “I don't know. I just feel like you're wrong this time."

Before Hendrix George could respond, there was a knock on the door.

“Who's there, come in."

The door was soon pushed open and Samantha emerged. She was still as pretty as she used to be, however, exhaustion seemed to be painted all over her face.

“What do you want?"

Seeing it was Sam, Evans was immediately irritated.

“I came to tell you something important." Samantha did not beat around the bush. She'd stayed at the George Family's Mansion for months now. Although she wasn't mistreated, the scornful and hateful glare she got from everyone, especially the disgust from Evans, got her thinking about her past.

Adams had never looked at her badly nor had he let others mistreat her. Although he had nothing and was treated like trash by everyone including herself, he made sure she got the best of himself for her.
