Of course, that didn't make Ghea and Bruno believe Anna's words. They laughed until Anna frowned, confused. Dakota watched the two people before him with cold eyes, not moving at all.

Ghea wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes because she was laughing too much. "Are you kidding me? That's impossible."

Bruno chuckled and shook his head. "No need to make up stories. You think we'll believe those lies?" He glanced at Anna with a condescending look. "You must have been asked to pretend to be his girlfriend, huh? What a pity!"

Anna frowned. She had a hard look on her face. "No, no, no. We are dating. Dakota is my girlfriend."

Even though they weren't actually dating, Anna would have done the same thing Dakota did earlier for her to break up with Jay.

Bruno raised both eyebrows with a great look on his face. "What reward did this man give you? A lowly man like Dakota would do anything to get his way. He's an imposter! We warned you to stay away from this man!"

Ghea tilted her head slightly, studying Anna. "Dakota, your taste has gone downhill. Are you desperate because you can't get love from a beautiful woman like me?" She stared at Dakota while pointing her index finger at Anna's face. "This woman isn't even pretty!"

Dakota gave Ghea a sharp, angry look. His jaw hardened. "Shut that mouth of yours, Ghea."

Bruno was annoyed at Dakota's harsh tone of voice towards Ghea. "Hey!" He pointed his index finger at Dakota's face. "That tone of voice of yours, damn it! How dare you yell at my girlfriend! Besides, that woman of yours isn't pretty!"

"Watch your mouth." Dakota deliberately held Anna's hand to protect the woman from Bruno. Especially when he saw the look in Bruno's eyes that seemed to harass Anna.

Dakota really disliked that brat. Bruno was known to be close to many women besides Ghea. Everyone on campus knew that Bruno had never been in a relationship with any woman for a long time. In fact, he changed partners almost every month. Dakota regretted that Ghea wanted to be in a relationship with that guy.

Bruno grinned as he looked at Anna. "Only a stupid woman would get close to a lowly man like Dakota."

Anna stared intently at Bruno but also felt scared by Bruno's intimidating gaze. The reflex made Anna's body slowly retreat, taking cover behind Dakota's body with their hands still holding each other.

Ghea became annoyed seeing Bruno's gaze on Anna, especially seeing Dakota seemingly protecting Anna. Damn it. What a bitch. She was trying to attract Bruno's attention, too. You suck, not even prettier than me. Just watch. I'll attack her to make her ashamed!

Hearing Ghea's inner voice made Dakota hold Anna's hand even tighter. He wouldn't let Anna be hurt by those two people. Even though it wasn't necessarily that they would hurt Anna.

Ghea clung to Bruno's arm. "Dakota, you must be doing this because you're jealous of Bruno who can win my heart. Of course, he's a handsome, rich man. He can take me to fancy places to eat."

Bruno laughed at Ghea's words. He was even proud to accept the compliment. "Of course. How can this loser take his woman out to eat in a fancy place? Even at a small cafe like this, he gets the treat from his woman. What a shame!"

Dakota was still calm, not bothered in the slightest by their words. No matter how Ghea and Bruno insulted him, Dakota didn't care. Even though his anger had peaked earlier.

Ghea clucked while shaking her head. "Dakota, you really are a terrible man. What did you bring her here for? On foot? Or using public transportation? How pathetic."

Bruno laughed again as he reached into his pocket, deliberately pulling out the car keys. "You're supposed to take a woman out in a fancy car like mine! Look at that car of mine!" He pointed at one of the cars parked in front of the cafe. "My car is very luxurious and you, will never be able to afford it, you loser!"

Geha smiled with satisfaction. Look, I'm better than that woman. I can get a rich man, unlike Dakota, who is poor. That woman must also now be very embarrassed for dating a poor man like Dakota. What a pity.

Dakota heard Ghea's inner voice that felt victorious. Dakota didn't expect the woman he loved all this time to have such a rotten nature.

I feel so stupid. How could I love a rotten woman like Ghea so much? I can't stop thinking that she's a very bad-hearted woman.

Ghea looked at Dakota haughtily while folding her hands before her chest. "Dakota, I heard from the others, you've been hospitalized for the past few days after being hit by a truck. Why don't you just die?"

Dakota became even angrier and hated Ghea. He didn't expect that Ghea would say such bad things. After rejecting his love hundreds of times, Ghea wanted him dead.

Dakota clenched one hand tightly. "You've gone too far, Ghea."

Ghea raised her face arrogantly while standing straight in front of Dakota. "Why, don't you like what I'm saying? Useless men like you deserve to die!"

"That's right, Ghea. He deserves to die!" Bruno laughed at Ghea's words. He even held his sore stomach. In between Bruno's laughter, Dakota heard the man's inner voice.

Disgusting. A loser man who has nothing doesn't deserve to live in this world. Haa, it's lucky that I could rent this car to look amazing in front of Ghea. If I had come a little late, I wouldn't have been able to rent it and embarrass Dakota like this. I'm so happy.

Dakota chuckled after hearing Bruno's inner voice. He muttered in a loud voice. "Even a rental car is proud!"

Suddenly, Bruno immediately stopped laughing. He approached Dakota, grabbing him by the collar. "What the fuck did you just say? You think I didn't hear that?"

Dakota smiles faintly as he shakes Bruno's hand off his collar. "I've seen that car at the car rental place on Haral Street." He looked at Ghea with a faint grin. "This boyfriend of yours, just pretending to be rich, Ghea!"

Bruno and Ghea's eyes widened. Of course, Bruno didn't take it well. "How dare you insult me like that! How dare you insult me like that!" He pushed Dakota several times until she hit the cafe table.

Ghea laughed while shaking her head, not believing Dakota's words. "That's so funny. You think I'll believe you? Just tell me that you're just jealous of Bruno, Dakota! Disgusting!"

Dakota smoothed out his slightly wrinkled clothes from being pushed by Bruno. "Why would I be jealous of an arrogant man like him? There's nothing to gain."

Bruno felt insulted by Dakota. He pointed his index finger at Dakota's face in a high-pitched voice, swearing at Dakota. "Damn bastard! Just tell me that you're jealous of me. You're a poor person who can't buy anything. Not even one person on campus wants to be friends with you! You're a loser! Admit it asshole!"

Bruno continued to give Dakota harsh words that made everyone in the cafe pay attention to them. Dakota, however, was still calm without resisting Bruno's harsh words and swearing at her.

Suddenly, there was a car sound from behind them. Anna took something out of her bag. Anna raised her hand, pulling out the car keys, which made Bruno stop swearing at Dakota. Their eyes were drawn to the sound of the car. Suddenly, Ghea and Bruno's eyes widened perfectly. It was a very luxurious car, more luxurious than Bruno's rental car, which stunned the two people in disbelief.

Anna smiled while hugging Dakota's arm. "Too bad, we can't linger to hear your trashy mouths talk. I'm in such a hurry. Come on, Dakota, let's get out of here!"

Anna pulled Dakota away, leaving Ghea and Bruno behind. They got into the luxury car. Deliberately, Anna lowered the windshield and waved at Ghea and Bruno. Instantly, Ghea and Bruno became very upset. They couldn't believe that she was so rich, more so than Bruno. They felt jealous of Dakota, especially Ghea.

Ghea was very angry. She even stomped her feet vigorously. "Shit! That woman is richer than you, Bruno!"

Bruno didn't accept what Ghea had just said. He pushed Ghea roughly. "What did you say, street?" Bruno looked frustrated, rubbing his face roughly while swearing under his breath. "Asshole! That loser guy is so lucky to get a beautiful and rich woman like her."
